Ugolino Golf Club

Grassina (Toscana), Tuscany, Italy

Ugolino Golf Club is located in the Chianti region. It was originally designed in 1933 by English architects Blandford and Gannon and later enlarged in the 1960s by engineer Piero Macinelli. It is located along the Chiantigiana Road and over the years countless tournaments have been played on this golf course. Worthy of mention, the international Opel of 1983 in which European champions took part. The golf course takes advantage of the natural characteristics of its location: the first nine holes offer a remarkable itinerary with impressive differences in level, and while the remaining nine are on more even ground they are nonetheless demanding. Players will have to face differences in level and hazards and small, very well defended greens.
