Santa Ponsa Golf Club is located on the Santa Ponsa Urbanisation, about 20 minutes drive from the international airport and 15 minutes from Palma de Mallorca. Surrounded by more than six kilometers of coastline, there are two 18-hole and one 9-hole golf course (Golf Santa Ponsa I, II and III).

Golf Santa Ponsa I

This course was inaugurated in January 1977. The 10th hole is one of the longest in Europe. Designed by Folco Nardi with Pepe Gancedo, Golf Santa Ponsa I spreads over an area of 73 hectares. This is a long, wide course with many indigenous trees, vegetation, water obstacles and bunkers. Santa Ponsa I is one of Mallorca's most active courses and many national and international tournaments take place here including the Professional Spanish Championship Match between Spain and Belgium, the Spanish international amateurs championship, Club championship of Europeampeonato, International Challenge H.R.H. the Count of Barcelona (from 1977 'til 1992), International trophy H.R.H. Don Juan de Borbón (from 1994 'til today), International trophy H.R.H. Princess Birgitta of Sweden (from 1991 'til today), The Mentor Foundation Trophy 1998. The course was selected for the P.G.A. European Tour’s Balaeric Open six times. The winners were: 1988: Seve Ballesteros. 1989: Ove Sellberg. 1991: Gavin Levenson. 1992: Seve Ballesteros. 1993: Jim Payne (Golf II). 1995: Greg J. Turner. 1998: Miguel Ángel Jiménez.

Golf Santa Ponsa II

This course was Inaugurated in December 1991. The holes are affected by several large lakes, and many wind their way through a pine forest. The 18th green is situated on an island which adopts the shape of Mallorca. This course is reserved for the shareholders of the society. Each year important tournaments take place here, including the 1995 Balaeric Open. The course features a 350m training course, with tees in both directions of more then 100m, putting-green and golf-school.

Golf Santa Ponsa III

Golf Santa Ponsa III is a 9-hole courses which was inaugurated in January 1999. It has three par 4s and six par 3s. It is an ideal course for beginners and players who want to work on their short game
