Salobre Golf & Resort Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, Spain Salobre Golf has a total length of 6.145 m, about 6.760 yards. This is a par 71, divided into 4 par 5s, 9 par 4s, and 5 par 3s. The course is located in a very typical enviroment in the south of the island. Its elevated situation gives spectacular views to the sea and the mountains. The contrast from the green of the golf course with the desert enviroment is also something to see. The golf course ensures challenge and a good time for any level of player. Salobre Golf is a really exciting course because you will experience many different situations during the round. This course is very similar to the courses in Arizona in the USA, not only for its design but for the enviroment that surrounds it. Salobre North course (new 18 holes) is scheduled to open October 2008. Salobre South 18 holes, par 71 g White 6112 m, VC 72.4, Slope 121 g Yellow 5565 m, VC 69.1, Slope 118 g Blue 5016 m, VC 71.8, Slope 117 g Red 5016 m, VC 69.6, Slope 113 Pitching green, putting green, driving range, restaurant, clubhouse, dressing rooms, showers, tuition Buggy rental, club rental Handicaps: 29 Men, 36 Ladies. All players have to show their handicap card/certificate at the pro shop together with identity card or passport. Those clients with no handicap certificate will have to visit the golf pro and he will decide if they can play. People with higher handicaps can play after 16.00h according to availability.
