Pula Golf

Son Severa, Mallorca, Spain

Pula Golf was founded in 1995. However, in 2001, 12 holes were changed; in 2002 six more holes were changed, so there are 18 holes of a new design. From 2003-2007, Jose Maria Olazabal completely redesigned the course, and it is now the only PGA European Tour venue on the island. It is the longest and most demanding course in Mallorca -- par 70 and 6,208 metres in length. On 14 holes, players are able to see the green from the tee; on the other 4 holes the green can be seen from the second shot.

Pula Golf has hosted many important tournaments and events such as the Johann Cruyff Welfare Foundation (1996), Skins Game (1997) with the professionals Jose Maria Olazabal, Bernhard Langer, Mark McNulty, C. Suneson. Franz Beckenbauer Stiftung (1998), Pula Golf Claudia Schiffer (1999), Circuito de Professionals Peugeot Ð OKI (2001, 2002 and 2003), Spanish Men’s Senior Championship (2002), Spanish Men’s Junior Championship (2002). In October 2003 it hosted the Championships Turespaña Mallorca Classic (PGA European Tour event).
