The Golf & Country Club Il Poggio dei Medici is located only 25 kilometers from Florence in the lovely, hilly landscape of Mugello, the heart of Tuscany. The golf course was designed by Baldovino Dassù and Alvise Rossi Fioravanti and it is an impressive and entertaining course to play. It is a championship course built according to USGA standards. The golf course is challenging for both beginner and advanced players, including those who enjoy playing at competition levels. The Italian Ladies Open has been played here since 1999.
