The Plantation Inn and Golf Resort was built in 1962 along the banks of the pristine Crystal River. In 1975, W.W. Caruth Jr. purchased the property, impressed with its beautiful natural setting and Old South charm. Through a series of renovations and additions, including a major update in 1997, W.W. Caruth Jr.'s vision of a truly peaceful vacation retreat has been fully realized. Today, The Plantation Inn offers 143 rooms, including 12 villas and five condominiums along with nine meeting rooms totaling over 8,000 square feet. Amenities at this 232-acre resort are numerous, and include fine dining, golf, tennis, 96,000 gallon swimming pool with sundeck, dive shop, and boat rentals.
Golf: 27 holes of championship golf (par-72 18-hole championship course plus nine-hole executive course specifically designed for training and practice purposes), driving range and professional instruction, playing privileges at 10 other nearby golf courses. Championship course is home to the Florida Women's Open. Well-stocked pro shop and the indispensable 19th Hole Grill and Pro shop bar.

Golfview Condominiums have 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 - 3 bathrooms, full living room, dining room, kitchen, and washer and dryer. Front view facing the golf course.
