Parco di Roma Golf
Club
Rome, Italy
Between the hills and the slopes
of the Roman countryside is the first European golf course designed by
one of the most famous American architects. Located in the calm of the
Roman countryside, the course is situated between cultivated fields and
Mediterranean macchia - within the sight of the dome of Saint
Peters Cathedral and with views of many archaeological marvels.
With each game played here, golfers discover new scenery and that every
hole is truly different from the othera. Some holes are characterized
by white sand bunkers; other holes have wide fairways. The course allows
to the first shot to be hit without difficulty. Maximum precision is required
with long irons and great concentration for the shots around the greens.
When the ball is on the green, the challenge continues against the undulations
and the rolling speed exalted by a grassy carpet composed of Agrostis
A4. The Parco di Roma golf course respects all solid players in technique
and game tactics.
