Brand new 3 Bedroom 3 Bathroom Villa close to many Golf Courses in Costa Blanca, Spain. The villa is spacious and furnished to a high standard and sleeps 8, so is ideal for golfing parties or two families sharing. There are 3 Golf Courses within a 5 minute drive – Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Real Campoamor. There are another 15 nearby. Sandy beaches are to be found less than 10 minutes drive away, the closest being La Zenia. The nearest Airports are Murcia, a 20 minute drive and Alicante, about 40 minutes drive away. There are many bargain flights to be had with Monarch, Easyjet, Flybe,Thomsonfly, Ryanair etc. The climate is warm all year round, with plenty of sunshine, so generally ideal T-shirt weather for winter golfing! However, the nights do tend to get quite cool in the winter months, so do expect to need warmer clothing for an evening out then.
Description of Accommodation and Facilities
The villa is spacious and well furnished. The kitchen is large and well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and enough crockery and cutlery for twelve. In addition there is a washing machine, a drying line and clothes horse, an iron and ironing board.
The living room has two comfortable three seater settees, one of which opens out into a double sofa bed. The satellite TV has an excellent choice with over 30 English Channels, showing Sports, Movies, Kids, Sky, the normal Terrestrial channels etc, plus 15 radio stations and 5 Spanish Channels. There is also a DVD player supplied for you to play your own films or music CDs. There is a small selection of both for your enjoyment, plus some books and magazines and a few games. There is also a folder containing information on places to visit.
The Dining Area has a large wood table with six wooden chairs, and space for extra chairs if required. It has double patio doors opening onto the covered terrace. The room is equipped with hot/cold Air Conditioning and there is an additional oil-filled radiator for colder nights so the villa is suitable all year round.
There is one twin bedroom downstairs, with double patio doors out to the back terrace. The room has a large double mirror-doored wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a small bedside unit. A safe has been built into the floor of the wardrobe for security. Outside the bedroom door is the downstairs bathroom, with toilet, basin, shower and bidet.
Upstairs are two further bedrooms. To the rear is a further twin bedroom, again with a large double full size mirror-doored wardrobe, chest of drawers and small bedside unit. There is an ensuite bathroom containing a toilet, shower and a large vanity unit. There is one hair dryer supplied for your convenience.
The master bedroom contains a double bed, the same wardrobe, drawers and bedside unit and an ensuite bathroom containing a large vanity unit, toilet, bath and shower. This room has double patio doors opening on to the large balcony. There is also a separate door opening from the landing on to the balcony.
The villa has its own private garden, which has a large patio area and a covered terrace. There is a large outdoor table, with four upright chairs, four reclining chairs and four sunloungers. There is also a charcoal barbeque.
All the windows and doors have been fitted with security grills for your added security, meaning you can safely leave all the windows and doors open when it is hot.
Location
The villa is situated halfway between Villamartin and San Miguel de Salinas on a quiet development of about 50 villas surrounded by orchards of almonds, oranges and lemons and with distant views to the sea and the “pink” salt lakes at Torrevieja. The development has a nice Communal Pool with shower in a secure grassy area and there are underground parking facilities – great in hot weather!
The closest bars are 2km away. San Miguel and Villamartin are both 3 km away, with a good supply of shops, bars and restaurants. Villamartin Plaza is well renowned in the area and is a courtyard setting on two levels with practically all the units being taken with bars and restaurants covering cuisines from many countries. A mile further is Los Dolses with an excellent supermarket plus a shopping parade with a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, internet cafes, a ball park for young children and a garden centre.
Just 5km away from the villa is the motorway (La Zenia) and just past this several supermarkets, various shops, bars and restaurants, and a 24hr shop/café. Go straight across the roundabout here and just ½ km further is La Zenia beach.
La Zenia has several sandy beaches, joined by walkways, with beach cafes, play facilities and toilet facilities. Next to La Zenia Hotel is an excellent Restaurant/Bar with Swimming Pool, open long hours and very good food and value for money. Many of the beaches along here have Blue Flag status and the beaches stretch in both directions. Mar Menor is half an hour south and this inland sea has excellent beaches and boating facilities.
For those who like historical cities Murcia, Cartegena, Elche and Alicante have much to offer. Torrevieja has a wide range of attractions from a water park, to water sports, harbour, a submarine to visit, markets twice a week. There is also an excellent hypermarket – Carrefour – which sells just about everything! It is next to the Las Habaneras indoor shopping arcade on 3 floors and behind this are several roads devoted to eating!

Winter – 01 November 2007 to 31 March 2008 - £300 per week
Spring – 01 April 2008 to 30 June 2008 - £400 per week
Summer – 01 July 2008 to 31 August 2008 - £450 per week
Autumn – 01 September 2008 to 31 October - £400 per week
Winter – 01 November 2008 to 31 March 2009 - £300 per week
Apart from the Summer Season breaks of 3 days (minimum) will be accepted.
There is a 50 Euros charge payable locally for Cleaning/Laundry Services.
A refundable deposit of 150 Euros is also collected locally for breakages and damage. This will be refunded no later than 2 weeks later.
