Los Caracolillos course at Lauro Golf is a parkland course, set in a rural area only 12 km from Malaga airport. With views of mountains to the north and the Mediterranean to the south, the course adjoins the protected forest area of the Sierra de Mijas. The course is quite level, and there are eight lakes just waiting to catch you! The clubhouse is interesting as it is a 200 year old Spanish Cortijo that has been restored to house a restaurant, bar, pro shop, and offices, all surrounding a lovely Spanish patio -- the perfect spot for after the game.
Notes: Lauo Golf is a reasonably
priced course and tries very hard to avoid slow play with 9 minutes between
tee times after 10.30h, handicap limitations for the first three hours
of play, and higher handicap players allowed after 10.30h.
