Il Picchio Golf Resort was created from the renovation of an ancient villa. The hotel is located 800 metres from Sicily's first golf course, Il Picciolo golf club (18 holes, par 72) and 15 minutes from the sea. It is tranquil and offers its guests modern and functional services, sports facilities, cultural and natural attractions, and also unforgettable stays for the most demanding visitor. The hotel has 23 elegant and well-finished rooms.

Nearest golf: Il Picciolo golf club (18 holes, par 72). The short game practice course reserved for hotel guests is ideal for a warm up before heading to the Pìcciolo Golf Club. Located just 800 meters from the resort, Picciolo Golf Club is the first 18-hole golf coast in Sicily, built in 1989 by architect Luigi Rota Caremoli. The picturesque oak and hazelnut forest and the charming rows of vines ensure this exclusive golf club is set amongst fairy tale scenery. Pìcciolo Golf Club also has an elegant club house.

Gardens, terraces. The hotel has a shuttle bus for transfers between the airport of Catania and the Picciolo golf course. The hotel is accessible for the handicapped or disabled. The summer evenings are happy and cheerful with music and entertainment. The large parking area is free, as are all the sports facilities.
Restaurant: The hotel’s restaurant “Il Palmento” can host up to 160 guests. Sicilian and international typical dishes are featured as are the wines of the Etna region. The restaurant can also prepare banquets for events or special occasions.Continental buffet breakfast 07.30 to 10.00h; lunch from 12.30 to the 14.00h; dinner from 20.00 to the 22.00h. Room service is available for breakfast and there is also an exquisite cold food service. The bar is open all the day for snacks, drinks, and coffee.
