Golf Girona opened in 1992. The course was designed by F.G Hawtree, and is 6,100 metres in length. This is the only course in Spain that has been seeded with Pencross. The course takes full advantage of the local topography and the natural shape of the terrain, and offers a challenge to golfers of all levels. It is completely isolated from busy Girona. In order to protect the natural environment Golf Girona waters it course with depurated water. There are direct links to the A.7 motorway.
