The Elba Costa Ballena Hotel, which opened in April 2008, is located in Costa Ballena, in the municipality of Rota. Its situation is on the beachfront, and bordering on the resort's 18 + 9 hole golf course designed by José María Olazábal and extremely close to the towns of Rota, Sanlúcar, Chipiona, Jerez or Puerto de Santa Maria.
