Gullane No. 1
6466 yds, par 71, SSS 72.
A real test for big hitters, this course is also used for Open qualifying.
It is of championship standard and advanced booking is advised all year
round.
Gullane No. 2
6244 yds, par 71, SSS 70.
A local favourite. Booking well in advance recommended.
Gullane No. 3
5252 yds, par 68, SSS 66.
Easiest of Gullane courses with a fine layout. Satisfying course for the
average golfer. Advance booking recommended.
Haddington
6317 yds, par 71, SSS 70.
Flat but good course with mature trees and river that comes into play
on 2 holes. Booking well in advance recommended.
Longniddry
6219 yds, par 68, SSS 70.
Mixed links and parkland course, with a tight front nine and the back
open to the elements. Extremely popular. Advance booking recommended.
Kilspindie
4957, par 69, SSS 66.
A testing course, located on the doorstep of the Kilspindie
House Hotel and usually less busy than some of the others. Advance
booking recommended.
The Glen North Berwick
6079 yds, par 69, SSS 69
Stunning view of Bass Rock, the Skerries and Firth Forth. Tremendous days
golf. Course at cliff level is open to the elements. Advance booking recommended.
North Berwick West
6420 yds, par 71, SSS 71
Championship standard links at beach level with views of islands offshore.
14th and 15th holes are two all time gems. Advance booking recommended.
Muirfield
6601 yds, par 70, SSS 73
Often voted one of the top five courses in the world and home to the 2002
Open Championship. Muirfield needs to be contacted up to 12 months in
advance with a copy of your handicap certificate and letter of introduction
from your home club. Tee times Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
Lufness New
6122 yds, par 69, SSS 70
Championship links course adjacent to Muirfield and Gullen famous for
true greens and rolling links terrain. Visitors can only play weekdays.
Advance booking recommended.
Dunbar
6404 yds, par 71, SSS 71
One of the best on the coast.
An easy par 5 first, with 4th to 17th holes being seaside holes, and the
opening and closing holes being parkland in nature. Popular course even
though it is a little further out. Advance booking recommended.
Whitekirk
6526 yds, par 72, SSS 72
A newer course that is enjoyable and testing. The layout takes full advantage
of the existing surrounds with several lakes, gorse and great views. Great
favourite among visitors. Advance booking recommended.
Dunbar Winterfield
5155 yds, par 65, SSS 64
A seaside parkland course with superb views of Bass Rock. Although it
plays down to the sea, there is no real links element here.
Royal Musselburgh
6237 yds, par 70, SSS 70
This course plays around a hilltop overlooking the Forth with a fine castellated
clubhouse. The course provides high quality holes and in luxurious condition
and is almost impossible to get on at weekends. A good course for all
standards of play.
Musselburgh (Monkton)
6614 yds, par 71, SSS 73
Well laid out parkland course with wide fairways which you will need to
play well with a burn crossing at several points. Finishing to a demanding
elevated green. A good addition to golf break mixing links and parkland
courses.
