A Few Comments from our Clients - 2002

Marbella Golf Holiday
We all had a fantastic time (even the weather didn't spoil it). We could not fault any part of our stay at the Don Miguel, the food and drink were superb. The [Atalaya] golf course was probably a little bit more tricky than we are used to in the UK but it was great fun. I have already recommended your web site to a number of my friends.

Costa del Sol Golf Holiday
Great holiday and great value - and the weather was very kind too! Unfortunately BA left our clubs in England on the way out which meant we missed one day of golf, the car hire company were excellent, the hotel [Don Miguel] is well serviced and the golf club was OK, the [Atalaya] old course is of a good standard, the [Atalaya] new one however needs a bit of tidying up. I would recommend issuing a golf voucher for each and every day - as even with discounts when you play another course it costs as much as 80 euros per round. We did this for Xmas day as we were not booked and another day when rain closed the usual course. Overall very good and as I said excellent value, If there is a newsletter which you produce with these offers please add me to the list, the guys are already looking forward to the next holiday. Have a great 2003 and thanks again.

Unlimited Golf in Algarve
Golf courses and apartment were more that we expected, they were fantastic. Resort itself was quieter than expected, but had a really great time..... Thanks very much for your help in booking holiday for us. I will contact you again later on in the year as we will be going away again sometime this year.

Both [La Cala Hotel and David Leadbetter Golf Academy at La Cala] were excellent, and I would certainly recommend them to others.

Golf Holiday, Atalaya Park, Costa del Sol
WE HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM THE GOLF HOLIDAY YOU ORGANIZED AT THE ATALAYA PARK HOTEL COSTA DEL SPAIN 22ND TO 29 TH DECEMBER. WE HAVE TO SAY THAT IT WAS THE BEST ORGANISED GOLF HOLIDAY WE HAVE EXPERIENCED. WE HAVE ALREADY BOOKED WITH YOU AGAIN IN MARCH TO THE ALGARVE. JUST TWO ITEMS THAT YOU WISH TO PASS ON TO OTHER VISITORS TO ATALAYA PARK. 1. ENSURE YOU TAKE OUT THE EXTRA 4 EUROS A DAY EXTRA CAR DAMAGE INSURANCE, AS WE HAD OUR HIRE CAR BROKEN INTO TWICE ON SUCCESSIVE DAYS WHILE PARKED AT THE ATALAYA GOLF CLUB CAR PARK, THEY HAVE A PROBLEM THERE WITH SECURITY INCLUDING THEFT FROM BUGGIES WHILST ON THE COURSE. 2. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR VEHICLE, WE HAD SOME ITEMS OF PROPERTY STOLEN, BUT NOT OUR CLUBS OR ANYTHING OF GREAT VALUE, BUT THE LOCKS ON TWO DOORS WERE DAMAGED. WE HAD ONLY ONE BAD DAY OF WEATHER WHEN THE COURSE WAS CLOSED, AND EVEN THE GO FLIGHT FROM BRISTOL WAS 15 MINUTES EARLY EACH WAY. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Penina Amateur Championship
The holiday was great and I really enjoyed myself. I have already pencilled in next year and hope to bring a few of my colleagues with me. I met some great people and found the hotel and course in excellent condition. Please keep me posted with any other tournaments etc.

All-Inclusive, Don Miguel, Marbella
As I was already at this hotel before I had no doubt about it. The rest of the group all found the hotel along with the accomodations and food was great. We had a great time all around. Since many of the courses are in the mountains they are hilly and some in our group found them to be difficult. I have learned in the future to ask the players if they prefer flat or hilly courses. The unfortunate rain this year was totally unexpected... PS I would not hesitate to recommend you people, will probably have another group for this winter they are looking at USA. Will keep in touch. Thanks again.

All-Inclusive, Don Miguel, Marbella
Yes we enjoyed our holiday thanks. Flights were ok, found the car hire people at the airport ok and car was fine, plenty of space for all our luggage and golf clubs. We could have done with a better map to the hotel though, the one the car hire people gave us didn't show as far out as the hotel ! But we found it in the end. The hotel was alright, certainly not complaining for what we paid. But just to give you a better picture, they are obviously working their way round refurbishing the hotel, some bits have been replaced while others look a bit shabby. The indoor swimming pool could definitely do with a refurbish. Food in the buffet was nice although the hot food was only luke warm which was a bit disappointing. However we did eat a couple of nights in the Panoramic Italian restaurant, in which a selection of menus were also part of the all inclusive, the food here came to order and was hot and very good. The lads enjoyed the golf, they only got to play the first two days as it rained the next two and the courses were closed (a risk at that time of year!) but they were impressed with the courses. Thank you for your help in organising it for us.

The accommodation [Alvor Atlantic Villa] and golf were excellent and we will definitely be contacting you again.

All-Inclusive Holiday in Spain
The holiday was absolutely fantastic. The vouchers were great. The directions to the car hire and picking up the car was the smoothest I have ever experienced on any kind of holiday. The [Don Miguel] hotel staff were excellent and the confirmation of tee times was very simple. The golf club and facilities were excellent, the only problem was how busy the courses were and the lack of handicapping certificates which lead to frustration on the course !! ( it was not possible to complete the second round of golf always ). The golf courses were challenging and we meet a lot of different people. The [Atalaya Golf] course was close to the hotel which made life a lot easier. The hotel was excellent. The food was of an exceptionally high standard and fitted well into the life of a busy golfer. The gym and pool was a godsend. I just wish that I could have stayed for longer. This was my first ever golf holiday and it could not have been better and I can't wait to go again. And talking to others on the course from all corners of Europe it was exceptionally good value. I cannot thank you enough. Many many thanks to you and all your staff.

Florida Golf Holiday
All your arrangements for the holiday were first class. We enjoyed it so much, we shall go back to the Plantation Inn again.

Golf Festival, Marbella
The golf holiday you booked on behalf of my party was first rate, the hotel Don Miguel was of a very high standard and very well located, Atalaya Park golf course, although very busy, were very good. Overall the holiday ran without a hitch due to your good organisation. Thank you very much, we will hopefully be booking next year for the same place maybe with a few more people.
- D Hirst, Huddersfield, W Yorkshire, UK, November 2002

Marbella Golf Holiday
Everything went very well, I really could not fault a thing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The golf courses were very good. the only prob was lack of 2 days golf due to rain but that it just unfortunate. However they did fit us in on the Monday that we were due to fly home, so only really lost one day. Only comment I would make is if elderly people are going then it might not be a good idea to play the new course as it is quite hilly. We are looking to organise a trip away in possibly March time. I am hoping to get a bunch of guys from the Society I play with. Can you put together some ideas for us based on the same sort of things. Once again, many thanks for a splendid trip. P.S. if you wish to use my comments for advertising purposes please feel free.

Foursome's Golf Week in Marbella
We had a terrific holiday in Marbella. Everything went well for us. The car was ideal for the golf gear, the hotel was perfect for our situation. 4 hungry, thirsty men were very well catered for! The golf courses [Marbella Golf Club, Atalaya, Torrequebrada] were great and the weather was kind to us. Absolutely no complaints. We are considering going back to the same place next year. Probably 12 blokes and 6 rounds of golf. Saturday 4th October to Saturday 11th October. We would like the all inclusive package again. What's your best deal?

All-Inclusive Golf Holiday to Marbella
We arrived back from our golf holiday on Friday and would just like to thank you for arranging it for us. Although the weather wasn't so good, we still had a great time and everything went as planned and was well organised. We will certainly use your company again and also recommend your company to anybody who is looking for a golfing break. Thanks again.

All-Inclusive Holiday in Marbella
We had a great time, the [Atalaya] courses were excellent as was the [Don Miguel] hotel, staff and service. Couldn't fault it at all. Even the weather was great . 26c every day! I took the liberty of passing on your e-mail address to quite a few other guests who couldn't believe the great deal we had. Many thanks for your excellent service. Have a great Christmas.
- J Stocks, Hern Bay, Kent, UK, November 2002

Marbella Golf Holiday
The hotel was excellent with lovely food, comfortable accommodation and the staff were very helpful. The two golf courses at Atalaya Park were also very good, two very different courses but both great to play. We also had no problem with regard to the hire car. So we couldn't fail to have lovely holiday with all the above and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We have also recommended you to some of our friends who play golf. We hope to have another holiday next Spring so I will be contacting you again in the new year. Thank you once again for all your help.

All-Inclusive Golf Holiday
We had a very enjoyable holiday and would go again on the same package if/when offered - the hotel and facilities were excellent and the golf was very good apart from the slow times to get round as the courses were very busy. The package was very good value for money and the hotel went out of their way to make both golfers and non-golfers welcome - with plenty of activities included in the package. Our party at the Don Miguel consisted of 2 golfers and one non-golfer - all adults. We had many conversations with other golfers on the same Coursemaster Golf Holiday and others who were on other packages and casual golfers. The only real problems that the golfers had was to arrange suitable tee-off times to allow to finish 18 holes - which took typically 5 hours or sometimes longer. The package that you offered was very warmly received and was seen as very good value - the best on offer. We all thought that the hotel was very good and catered very well for our non-golfer. Without the package price, however, the casual golfers had to pay a lot for their food accommodation, drinks and casual golf and were amazed at our deal when described to them - many said that they would look up Coursemaster after the holiday. Thanks for all you have done to arrange the package - is it available next year??

THANKS AGAIN.

Brilliant Golf Trip to Marbella
After completing my first trip to Don Miguel which I had a great time I wonder if it would be possible to change my late tee off times [ for the second trip] on the Old Course to say 10.00 o'clock. I found teeing off so late on the first trip messed up the whole day. Other than that the trip was brilliant, waiting in anticipation.

Many thanks for arranging an excellent holiday. Can thoroughly recommend drive from Alicante to Marbella, 6hrs to the minute. Good hotel, good golf, great fun.

Superb Golf in the Algarve
WE HAD A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY. THE GOLF WAS SUPERB. WEATHER WAS REALLY HOT SO THE TEE OFF TIMES FOR THE MORNING WERE PERFECT. ONCE AGAIN I CANNOT THANK YOU [ENOUGH] FOR THE HELP IN BOOKING THE GOLF COURSES [PINHAL, MILLENNIUM, VALE DO LOBO OCEAN, LAGUNA, VILASOL]. THE FACILITIES AT THE COURSES WERE GREAT. THE FOOD WAS SUPERB,THE STAFF WERE REALLY NICE AND DID ANYTHING YOU WANTED. MY FRIENDS AND I WILL RECOMMEND COURSE MASTER ABOUT BOOKING GOLF AT HOME OR ABROAD, AND WE WILL USE COURSE MASTER IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF THERE ARE ANY SPECIAL DEALS COMING UP, IF YOU DO THEM.

October in Marrakech
We had a very good holiday. Thank you very much. The Meridien is a very stylish hotel, the service was excellent and we would certainly go back. One litte thing: we found that the rooms, which are classified as SUPERIOR, are a little small, at least for a family of three (2 adults and one child). However, we informed the Manager the first day of our disapointment on that subject and he offered us a larger room classified SUPERIOR LUXE, at no extra cost. The latter was a little better but still not what you would expect in a hotel so grandiose! Anyways, that was not a great problem and we really enjoyed our time at the MŽridien. Greetings and hoping to do business with you again soon.

Family Holiday on Costa del Sol
We enjoyed the holiday very much. The hotel was great - very child friendly, and the room had a view of the mountains and was set in lovely gardens. Andrew enjoyed the golf courses - and had no problems as a single player - teamed up with people on all 3 days. The swimming pools were cold though, even the indoor heated pool was too cold for us to use the first day, and only just tolerated by my daughter the rest of the time, and that was a shame. Thank you very much for all your help in arranging the holiday.

Group's Costa del Sol Golf Report
Thanks, we hope to use Coursemaster again next year. Courses: La Cala North and South were absolutely fabulous courses and well worth the visit. Estepona was in fantastic condition and has a great variety of holes. Anyone not prepared to travel to this course is missing out. Monte Mayor is one of the hardest and best courses we have ever played and is definitely on the rota for next year - has a Spanish feel to it as well. Miraflores was great and we will be playing there again. Cabopino was in poor condition although it is new. For the prices they charge we probably won't play there again. Front nine is very bland and quite difficult. Back nine is much better but too pricey for what you get in comparison to the other courses. Anoreta is a nice, straightforward course in reasonable condition. Best wishes.
- A Filby, Kilwinning, Ayrshire, October 2002

Golf Week on Costa del Sol
We had an excellent holiday. Every thing went very well, the only complaints we had was the hotel although very good it was too far to walk into town and the directions to Alhaurin golf club were a bit misleading. Apart from that it was the best golf holiday I have ever been on and would recommend your company to any one who asks. If I were not moving out to Spain in a months time I would certainly book another holiday with you.
- D Whittaker, Queensbury, Bradford, UK, October 2002

Foursomes Golf Holiday in the Algarve
The holiday was excellent, went without incident and great value for money. [Le Meridien Penina] Hotel and staff were very good and friendly and can only compliment you with your choice of golf courses [Penina Championship, Palmares Links, Carvoeiro Pinta]. I certainly would not hesitate in recommending you to others who wish to book an overseas golfing holiday. I don't suppose you have a special offer on golf swings? Many thanks.
- R Henderson, Bedford, UK, October 2002

Golfing Group Holiday
I would like to thank you for all the work you did for our Golf trip. The Hotel was very good The Golf was very good The arrangements worked like a Swiss watch, in fact the entire trip was brilliant and it was excellent value for money. All the lads had a great time and have already expressed a wish for you to help us with next years trip. So if we could have similar arrangements, for somewhere close to Faro Portugal, that would be perfect, otherwise we would not mind Marbella again. Once again thanks for a brilliant trip.
- G Mazzeo, Villages Five Roads, UK, October 2002

Great Golf in Southern Spain
Well the trip was great and all in all the courses were good also. I had been in Spain this past Feb and played two out of the four then. Almenara is my top choice for any one going. I have played each of the three 9's and they are just wonderful. Estepona was a little rough on the edges but all in all not bad. The M-Golf and Country Club was very nice well taken cared for and the staff was very nice. I also went and played Monte Mayor. This is a course built in a very steep canyon and is difficult the first time out as you do need to know where to hit to and the course guide we bought was not much help. I would not suggest this for the light at heart as it can be very tough. Would I play it again well with a good supply of rum and coke why not. Oh I forgot Alcadaisa. My second time around and a great course with wonderful views. Thanks for the help and it went with out a hitch.
- Tim Smith, North Bend, Washington, USA, October 2002

Algarve Golf Holiday
Had a great time in Portugal. Thanks for organising things. The hotel was fine but I have two minor suggestions: 1. They should do proper coffee at breakfast instead of providing those ghastly machines that spew out frothy something that has little resemblance to coffee as I know it! 2. I had to travel to Albufeira every day to pick up my emails. I have travelled extensively in third world countries and they seem to manage it. I was very surprised that a 4 star hotel in Europe [Vila Gale Golfe] had no internet facilities.
- P Cheeseman, London, England, October 2002

Golf Holiday in Marbella
We all enjoyed the weeks golf. Atalaya courses were very good although I would say that the Old Course is much more forgiving than the shorter New Course. As it was our first experience of Costa golf the 5 hour rounds on the Old Course were a bit of an eye opener. My only complaint of the golf was that the golf buggies were in the process of being renewed and on one day there were none available at the later tee times. The hotel was fine but I, personally, will never take an all inclusive deal again. I thought the buffet style food was adequate at most. Most tee times mean that you will never be at the hotel for lunch. I would not say that this was a complaint as I knew from pre booking that this would be the case with all inclusive. The next outing that my group will have will be villa based. However we all enjoyed the golf holiday and even played on our day off at Estepona.
- M Duffus, Aberdeen, October 2002

Week in Marbella
On the whole we are very pleased with the service which you have provided. Puente Romano is a good hotel with good tennis facilities. The courts, unfortunately cost 20 euros per hour. They do a good sports massage at a fairly std rate of £35 per hour. The spa services offered by the sister hotel, Marbella Club Hotel, are exorbitantly priced. Hence can't comment on the quality. Alcaidesa Golf Club turned out to be the best of the lot, despite the longer drive. It is also walkable, unlike Marbella Golf Resort which requires crampons and O2 for some of the holes. Avoid Restaurant Babilonia: overpriced and its glories much faded! ÊÊÊÊÊ

Golfing Society's Annual Holiday
May I first express the thanks of everyone in my golf party for the superb week we had in Vilamoura last week. Everything went like clockwork with no problems encountered at all and we fully appreciate the help and advice you gave us and the superb organisation of your company. Having had a succesful trip, we are now looking to next year and due to the excellent help and organisation from yourselves we would ideally like to use your company again. We will probably be a party of roughly 16 again and we are looking at either Spain or possible even the USA.

Family Golf Holiday in Vilamoura
My dad and I had a fabulous time in Portugal!!!! The hotel was first class and the courses and weather wonderful. Thankyou once again for all
your help. We will recommend your company to our friends and we will hopefully book with you again in the New Year.

Marbella Golf Break
Thank you very much for your co-operation in organising this holiday. Everything was excellent and well organised. The hotel was great and the Golf courses were lovely in particular Marbella and the New course at Atalaya. All in all a very enjoyable holiday was has by all. Thanks again.

Golf Society's Annual October Golf Holiday in Vilamoura
We had a great time, and I won our competition!! We only had one negative at the start of the holiday when the hotel put us into rooms with no balconies. This was unacceptable, especially as we had stayed there last year with landview rooms with balconies. I complained; we had to stay in these rooms for one night and then they moved us into Duplex Suites, 4 to a suite, seaview etc at no extra charge. The suites were excellent and we probably want to use them again next year. One comment about Vila Sol. The last time I played there was about 4 years ago. Since then they have added another 9 holes. We were given a tee off from Hole 19 and then played 1 to 9. They appear to have put the new 9 holes in a quite small piece of land as some fairways run too close together. Also there is a great deal of building work going on around holes 19 to 27 which does detract from the enjoyment. I would like to play the course again but only if I could play holes 1 to 18. I will be in contact with you shortly to get a price for our holiday next year.
- J Whiteman, UK, October 2002

Rounds on Laguna, Salgados, Palmares
We had a great time very enjoyable. All three courses were excellent (especially Salgados) and very well run. We look forward to re-visiting them next year. Thanks again for your help. I will be in contact when we book our next trip.

Foursome's Golf on Costa del Sol
To all, thank you for all your help to get 2 tee times booked for my trip to the Costa del Golf. A great time was had by all and the weather was tremendous. Estepona was tight with the wind creating a lot of problems. Cabopino was great the greens were not as good as Estepona with many pitch marks not being repaired. Thanks again and I look forward to talking with you when we plan our next trip abroad.
- A Teague, Ampthill, Beds, UK, October 2002

Fun in the Sun
It was a great trip and we even got to play with a Canadian guy who booked with one of your rivals. Our only little bug was not being able to watch the Ryder Cup at the hotel! For some reason they put signs up advertising it but prefer to watch the Chinese men's volleyball team. Oh, and you might ask the Pinta and Gramacho folk to finish building the roads....next time I'll hire a jeep. But this is only petty stuff....it was a lot of fun (even if we learnt rather too much about dodgy nights out in Montreal).
- Nick Tjaardstra, UK, September 2002

Vilamoura, Algarve Golf Holiday
We had a great time the weather was great and I only lost 3 balls !!!!! The courses were fine we had no problems booking in, the only snag we had was at Villa Sol as they didn't have any buggies when we arrived so we teed off 20 mins late. We will be going again in the New Year and I'm sure we will call on your services. All the best.
- M Elsom, UK, October 2002

Golf Holiday on Costa del Sol
We had an excellent time and everything went pretty much as planned. The hotel [Don Miguel] was very good and had excellent facilities, the weather and golf were good. We also played the Marbella Golf & Country club which is an absolutely amazing course and well worth you looking at packages for this (if you don't already). Thanks very much for all your assistance. We will certainly be in contact again next year!
- N Larkins, London, September 2002

Marbella Golf Holiday
Thanks for everything, everybody had a great time and all being well we will be going back again next year. Could you keep me informed of the prices for next year as and when they are released. If you deal with other hotels on the same board basis as the Don Miguel in different areas we would be interested in having a look at them as well. The price was great value for money and we would be looking for something similarly priced next year. The only irritation was that some bars were free and others you had to pay 50%.We could not understand the logic of that when they were literally next door to each other. Other than that the courses accommodation and facilities were all exellent. Once again thanks and I hope to hear from you again with next year's offers.

Vilamoura Golf
We had a good time in the Algarve. Thanks for asking! I have the following comments to make about the golf courses in Vilamoura: The Pinhal Golf course has improved a lot in the last year and is playing really nice. Vila Sol was a total inconvenience with all the construction going in and around the course. To the point that if I would have known about it beforehand I would have not played there. We did not enjoy our round of golf at Vila Sol at all. The Old Course was fantastic and their customer service was efficient and also friendly. The Millennium was wonderful and very enjoyable. The Laguna was very challenging as always. With all the wind and water around the course it requires lots of concentration and great strategy to play well there. Once there was more than enough. Thanks for your assistance with my bookings and until next time!
- R Vargasortiz, Germany, September 2002

Algarve Golf
The golf in the Algarve was absolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Out of the six courses we played there was only one which disappointed us and that was Pine Cliffs. It was in poor condition compared to the others. The bunkers were not raked well and pitch marks had not been repaired. We spoke to the starter to express our concerns and he told us that a lot of beginners play this course. I then asked him why on earth they asked to see my handicap certificate if they allow beginners on the course!!! For 75 Euros I'd much rather have played at Vilamoura. Anyway, that was the only downside to the golf. Vilamoura Old Course, Vale De Lobo Royal and Ocean Courses and Pinheiros Altos were all fabulous courses. Vila Sol was nice but not as nice as the others. I hope these comments are of use to you in the future. I have today booked to go back to Vilamoura in August 2003 so you may well be hearing from me in the very near future!!!

Everything went well. Administration fine. [Lauro Golf] Course good although little water (construction underway for lakes etc). Course still some way behind the established courses in Marbella etc. Thanks for interest and help.

Vilamoura Golf Holiday
The only thing that let down our holiday was the weather..2.5 days of sun and 4 of rain!! I was very impressed with the service that you provided us, Flights, Transfers, Golf and Hotel [Vila Gale Ampalius] were first class, very well organised. You can rest assure that I will be contacting yourself next year for another golfing golly !! Many thanks.

Golf in Vilamoura for Foursome
The holiday was very relaxing thank you. Unfortunately the weather didn't keep to it's end of the bargain, however the courses were all in good condition (and drained remarkably well after the torrential rain they endured) and the facilities (hotel/transport) were well organised. No complaints from our group. Many thanks for your help in organising our trip and we would certainly be inclined to use your organisation again for any future trips.
- D Ross, Edinburgh, Scotland, September 2002

Weekend in Ireland
A definate success. My father was v.pleased with the trip for his 60th birthday. The hotel [City West] was warm and friendly ( the staff seemed always to have time for a quick chat ), good food even though we never ate in the main restaurant. It catered for anybody's style from the executive to the weekender - the hotel was not posh (snobbish) but held a high enough appeal to make the average Joe feel welcome / special. The [City West} golf courses were excellent, extremely well maintained and picturesque. Considering it is only 15 - 20 mins from the Airport, I may be tempted there on an annual basis. Many thanks for your assistance in making the trip.
- M Naulls, Raleigh, Essex, September 2002

September Golf in the Algarve
In general the holiday was excellent - Vilamoura is a great place. The villa was excellent, with a big sunny garden and a good sized pool. It also had plenty of plates, glasses etc and washing machine and dishwasher, which were handy. In terms of golf courses, Pinta was the best of the three as it was in great condition and not too difficult. Boavista was a very impressive course, and very hard as well, but was perhaps just a bit too far away from Vilamoura as it is on the other side of Lagos. Salgados was good, but the greens were being repaired when we were there so they were heavily dressed with sand. All in all, the holiday went very well! Thanks,

Unlimited Golf Package in Spain
I am writing to thank you for the way you organised my recent holiday to Spain. The Hotel [Alhaurin] was great along with the golf. August in the Algarve
My parents had an excellent time and could not fault any aspect of the hotel. They enjoyed the golf, although failed to play Palmares as they got the date wrong - so relaxed they lost track of time! Thanks again or your endeavours and hope to make use of you again soon.

- S. Burt, Flitwick, Beds, August 2002

Summer Holiday to Alvor, Algarve
Yes, we very much enjoyed our holiday, in fact we had a brilliant time. The hotel [Pestana Carlton] was very good and the location was fantastic, although we did have to complain about cold buffet breakfast and cold buffet evening meal. However, no sooner had we complained, the problem was addressed (i.e. the temperature was turned up on the Bain Maries). The rooms could possibly do with a refurbish, which I understand is being undertaken in November 2002. The staff were very pleasant, once you got to know them. We would love to visit the hotel again and test out the new facilities, upon completion. We are extremely pleased with the service offered by Course Master and will definitely use you again. We will recommend you to our friends. The car hire by the way, was excellent value for money. Many thanks your assistance.

Golf Week in Spain
Further to your e-mail I would like to say that the holiday in Spain was very enjoyable. Everything from the car to the hotel to the rounds of golf were ready and waiting and we did not encounter any problems. Thank you very much for organising everything. Mum or I will not hesitate to contact you again when we are arranging our next holiday! Thank you.

Two Weeks in the Algarve
Just a note to say thanks. My friend did the booking for us all to the Algarve (Vila Gale Marina). Many thanks for all your help, could not fault any of your arrangements. Good golf and accommodation. We really enjoyed the holiday.
-M. Kellett. Motherwell, Scotland, July 2002

Vilamoura Golf Holiday
The holiday was great but too short. The [Vila Gale Marina] hotel was nice and the staff courteous and friendly. The golf courses were good and I really enjoyed The Old Course and The Ocean Course. The Royal Course was a bit disappointing, this was due to having to take a buggy...it was difficult to know what club to take. Thank you for all your assistance in booking the holiday and I will definitely make use of your services when I book my next golfing break.

Golf School Holiday, Estepona, Spain
Thank you very much for your email. Yes I had a wonderful time. It was really very very good. Some feedback which you may find useful to give as information. I underestimated the amount of training from 9-12 would involve and it was quite intensive for me for someone who has not played for years so I ended up aggravating an old tennis elbow injury...which is not anyting to do with the clinic (which was excellent). Perhaps it would be worth mentioning to people who have not played that they should do some initial training and stretching perhaps as they really will have drill and a lot of driving range practice. Again..absolutely no reflection on the clinic ..we did warm up exercises and had breaks..it is just for me it was a bit much and on the 4th day the elbow hurt enough that I needed to stop. The hotel [Atalaya Park] was great..very friendly and nice personnel. Really it was very good. The access to the beach is rocky and it is a bit tricky to get into the water..but the pool is lovely. I had not been to that area before and I was surprised how developed it was. Also that to go for dinner anywhere outside the hotel really needed the car. There is nowhere walking distance to go to. In general...excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The staff at the hotel and the clinic were excellent, friendly, helpful. As a single women I got no hassles, only courteous service and help. So apart from those comments/ surprises I mentioned it was very good. I also want to thank you for the smooth as silk organization. Everything worked like a gem, the car was waiting, the hotel had my reservations...nothing in the organization went wrong. All was perfect. Thank you again. I would certainly recommend you to anyone looking for a holiday. Thanks again !!

Celebration Golf Holiday in Vilamoura
We enjoyed our holiday immensely. The weather was excellent. The villa you booked for us was great. It was virtually dead centre of all the attractions and golf courses that we travelled to. The pool was a wonderful retreat after a hot morning's round of golf. Even after the hottest day (35C), the villa was cool nicely for the evening and everyone would enjoy a great night's sleep. If there was any drawback, it would have to be the beds which were very (VERY) hard. But everyone has their own preference. The golfing was the best I have ever experienced. The service at the courses is very good. We quite enjoyed chatting wth the staff over a hearty breakfast before golfing each morning. The fairways were lush and challenging and the greens were lightning fast! It was like being on the PGA tour. Being a two-some, we got teamed-up with a couple other golfers to round-out a foursome. These were all interesting and fun people and part of the great fun of golfing the Algarve was wondering what sort of characters you would be paired with the following day! In short, it was a wonderful experience, due in no small part to your competent and capable assistance. Feel free to use Pam and I as a reference anytime. Thanks again for your help in preparing a great 20th anniversary holiday.

Thanks for the holiday, me and my mate had a really good time.

Golf Break in Marbella
I would have to say that both courses were fantastic. I have played them before without buggies and would recommend that if you get a query for Alhaurin Golf Club again, that you suggest they book the buggy. It's a great course but very mountainous, and a gruller to walk. Marbella Golf Club can do no wrong. Thanks for your help and I will pass your details on to my colleagues. Hope to talk to you soon.

Golfing Society Trip to Marbella
Absolutely fantastic holiday. The [Don Miguel] hotel was outstanding - food superb - no hidden costs. Hotel management was very helpful. Firstly at our request they changed one of our golf tee times so that we could watch one of the England World Cup football matches. Secondly they accommodated our final meal by setting up the tables as we requested. One of the hotel cleaners broke the base of our 25 year old silver cup. They repaired it and re-engraved all the names within 3 days - good as new. Only problem at the hotel was the poor service from the bar staff - very slow. As far as the golf - the [Marbella, Los Arqueros, Almenara, Los Naranjos and Los Flamingos] courses were excellent - Atalaya New was our only disappointment. Maybe Marbella was too difficult but nevertheless a great course. Three of the rounds were won by our single figure handicap players which showed the difficulty of the courses. We may have played better with more sleep. The overwhelming feeling was our best golf tour ever..... Thank you for a truly wonderful experience. I would strongly recommend your service. Thank you - Thank you - Thank you.
- A.Thurgood, Golden Cross, East Sussex, June 2002

5 Days of Golf in Costa del Sol
We all thoroughly enjoyed our week's golf. Thanks to Coursemaster the golf ran without a hitch. Of the 5 courses we played Alhaurin was a bit special (not for the faint hearted though!) and La Cala and Torrequebrada were also of a very high standard. Lauro was perhaps a bit easier and less hilly but great fun nonetheless. Thanks again for all your assistance and I will definitely be in touch to organise our next golf trip.
- D. Colgan, Blantyre, S. Lanarkshire, May 2002

Two Weeks in Portugal
The only things not right were our golf swings. The package was good value for money, and we are recommending you to friends for their holidays. Hotel [Vila Gale Ampalius] and car hire were first class. The courses were good, with Vale de Lobo (Royal) being outstanding, with Vilamoura (Old) not far behind. I believe Pinhal to be wearing and in need of attention. The forest holes of the Millennium were excellent. All in all we were very, very pleased the only disappointment was the 1hr 40min delay in getting our baggage on our return, but that wasn't your fault.
-Martin, Oldham, Lancs, May 2002

Group's Golfing Holiday in Puerto Banus
Just a quick note to thank you for the excellent service and assistance you provided us with in organising the trip to Spain. All concerned had a fabulous time and the hotel was perfect - an easy stumble home at the end of the night (or early morning in most cases). Thank you again and I will certainly be in touch should I be required to organise such an event again.
-D. Hammond, Bristol, May 2002

Weekend Break in Spain
Thanks for your enquiry re our holiday. The weather was great and the golf organised by yourselves was excellent. We played 2 courses Miraflores and Alhaurin. Unfortunately Miraflores is surrounded by construction work which is a shame because the course was in good condition. Alhaurin is definitely worth a visit. The views of the mountains compensate for the balls that you lose on this tight course. The food in the club house was excellent and there is a well stocked pro shop for those souvenirs. Thanks for your organisational skills.
-D.Codd, Stockport, Cheshire, May 2002

Golf in the Algarve
Just thought I'd let you know what a fantastic time we had in Portugal. Everything was perfect (even the weather) golf courses superb, thanks for all your help, will definitely use you again for more golfing holidays.
-M.Mahon, Litherland, Liverpool, May 2002

Group's Golf Break in Spain
We all had a great time. Hotel, golf courses and transport arrangements were excellent. La Duquesa was tough due to strong cross winds and heavy rough, but still thoroughly enjoyable. Estepona was in great condition, the early tee-off being the toughest challenge (a few too many beers on Saturday night). Sincere thanks for all your endeavours.
-A.Schumacker, Cheshire, May 2002

Long Weekend in Algarve
We had a very enjoyable holiday, although I have played better! We also found it good value and very well organised by yourselves. The hotel [Delfim] was of a good standard and the staff were polite and helpful. The hotel facilities were good and my girlfriend enjoyed her lessons with the hotel instructor. All three courses were of a high standard and well looked after. We look forward to booking through you again in the near future.
-A. Overington, Essex, May 2002

Foursome’s Golf Break in Vilamoura
We had a great holiday, not so good to be back at work though. Everything went like clockwork with regards to all the pickups and tee-off times and the hotel staff were very helpful with arrangements. It was good to know about the transfers to the courses from the hotel before we went. We met a large number of other golfers who had booked car hire, which they never used all week due to the free transfers! The hotel was in an ideal location and the golf courses were all a high standard. We even played one more round on the last day at Pinhal, which we felt was our favourite of the 3 courses played. The only problem for me was that I managed to find the water at the Laguna course way too often. I've had to restock my golf ball collection! On the way home we were discussing where we would like to go next year,so I will be contacting you again if we decide to go on another trip. Thanks for all your help.
-P. Strachan, Scotland, May 2002

Golfing Society's Algarve Golf Break

There is no way you can improve upon what we got this year. All 14 people on the trip thought the whole deal was excellent. The Vila Gale Marina Hotel was great and the full English buffet breakfast was excellent. Entertainment, many events at the hotel, was also good. The rooms were good, the swimming pool was good. The golf courses were the best ever...even with hire buggies we took 5 hours to play a round with no hold-ups, but then there was a beer buggy which kept appearing...we were their best customers. The great thing about the layout of the courses is that you never seem to see anyone else on the course, it's all highly organised. The resort was exactly to our requirements, with plenty of pubs and nice restaurants. I'd say prices were a bit less than in this country. Maybe £17 for a meal with wine. I can only say that everyone would like to go again, and no-one will go back unless it is booked through yourselves. Jim hired clubs over there no problem, and they were good clubs. Many, many thanks. If you ever need anyone to give a reference I'm your man!
-Gordon, Murray, Scotland, May 2002

Golf Break in Marbella
Just thought I would say that the holiday went very well indeed, and that we were very impressed with the Benabola apartment. The golf and courses were excellent and we apparently had the only four days of sunshine in that week! Everybody we met at the courses were very friendly and helpful and the car hire staff were very efficient.......Thank you again for all your help and I will certainly be using your services again in the near future.

Spanish Golf Holiday
We had a great time. Both the hotel and the course were excellent..... Best regards.

Group Golf Holiday in the Algarve
Thanks for all the help. Everything went great from start to finish. No problems with any aspect of the golf whatsoever. Courses, generally in good nick. Suppose as a greenkeeper I could be critical, but it would be nit picking. Same idea planned for two years hence.
- L. Philip, Nairn, Scotland, April 2002

Golf in the Algarve
Arrangements, hotel, golf, weather could not have been better. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned and I look forward to booking with you again for next year on similar dates.

Algarve Golf Holiday
What can I say we had a fantastic time and I cannot name a single problem with the trip!! The hotel was first class the golf courses fantastic and the harbour food and wine guilty of causing several hangovers and large bellies. But we are not going to let that spoil anything and are eager to book again. Can you send me prices for next year?
- L. Evans, Plymouth, Devon, UK, April 2002

Florida Golf Holiday at Plantation Inn
Holiday was a great success. Thoroughly enjoyed the golf and the hospitality shown to me from the golfers at the club was fantastic.

Golf Holiday in Portugal
We did enjoy the holiday. Golf courses we played were very good. The Vila Gale Golfe Hotel was fine, but just off the beaten track. The weather was a mixture the first week, but beautiful the second week. Thanks again, we did enjoy it.

Golf School Holiday in Spain
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and everything went very smoothly. The flights were on time, the car ready for collection and directions to both the hotel and golf courses were excellent. The golf tuition was intensive and Quentin was very focused on improving our game. The school was very well equipped and I think that we all received individual attention and have all improved our game. Being able to pre-book everything through you was very time saving and took away a lot of the stress. All in all an excellent holiday and I am sure that we will be booking with you again later this year!

The holiday was excellent, wish I was still there though. The courses were brilliant and I will be back at Vale do Lobo soon I would think. I have suggested to people at work, who are planning a golf holiday, to use your company. Many thanks for such an enjoyable holiday .

Long Weekend in the Algarve
I would like to say that everything was spot on! Hotel is excellent value, the mix of golf courses excellent, car excellent, directions, vouchers no problem. Hopefully my wife will let me do it all again some day!

Group Golf Holiday in Spain
We had a great time in Spain. The weather was nice, got sunburnt, but had a good time. We enjoyed the courses, played 5 over a 6 day period. We will be booking another holiday later in the year and will be using your good services. I have passed your brochures over to our ABB Golf Society and gave them a recommendation. The other couples that went with us included my son and his wife from Houston, and they too enjoyed the trip, the golf.
-CB, Holland, March 2002

Golf School Holiday
I wanted to thank you for the arrangements made and give you some feedback on the holiday. Returned Sunday night - weather for the 9 days dreadful, but the hotel more than made up for it and the golf clinic too. The food, rooms, drink(!) and staff at the hotel - and also the gym and sports facilities - were fabulous and I would definitely return (despite the damp, dull weather). The golf clinic - pro Simon Elliott - was excellent and very friendly.
-Roseanne, Ireland, April 2002

Algarve Golf Weekend
Le Meridien Dona Filipa] hotel and golf [at San Lorenzo] were excellent, will be in touch for my next venture.

Golfing Group's Golf in Algarve
Yes we did enjoy the golf. Everything was brilliant - courses first class. We were well looked after by everyone at the courses, very friendly people. Your organisation was excellent - no problems whatsoever - well done. I'll be getting back in touch in about a year's time as we plan to return there in Spring 2004. Comments about the courses - they were hard, yet fair - in lovely condition. I played my best golf at Salgados, which was amazing considering the amount of water there. Perhaps it had something to do with no hangover that morning. Thanks for all your help in setting things up - all 10 of us had a fabulous time. We will return!
- M. Booth, Newcastle upon Tyne, England, March 2002

Golf Break in Algarve
Thank you for all your help in arranging the golf trip to the Algarve. The arrangements worked perfectly from the car to the golf and hotel arrangements - everything! Thank you again and be in no doubt that we will be in touch for help in arranging similar trips in the future.

Golf Trip to Portugal and Spain
We are back to the regular grind of daily life after a wonderful trip to Portugal and Spain. We especially liked Portugal - beautiful vistas, friendly helpful people, great food, and fantastic golf. The arrangements you booked for us went like clockwork. The hotels met and surpassed our expectations. There was an interesting variety in the choice of golf courses. The rental car was reliable and we gave it a real workout. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are seriously considering returning for a month next year.........Thank you so much for all your help and support. It was truly one of our best vacations.
- Bev and Brian, Half Moon Bay, B.C. Canada, March 2002

A Week in Islantilla
I have not had a chance to contact you since returning on the 23rd. My brother James and I had a truly great holiday, good golf and great accommodation. The food was outstanding in the restaurants and the wines of high quality. The key to this holiday being a success was the excellent service we received from your company. Everything went like clockwork with no delays and good planning. We would gladly ask you to organise our next golfing trip as your attention to detail and great back-up has been outstanding. Many thanks and keep us up to date with any special deals.
- Bill, Co. Down, N. Ireland, March 2002

Golf in Costa del Sol
We had a great golf holiday in Spain with wonderful weather. Following are some commments: - NIZA cars has a good service level, the cars were in good overall condition and clean when they were given to us. - Hotel Pyr is a good quality hotel, but because it is directly by the N340 we always had to keep the windows shut because of the traffic noise (not an issue at this time of the year because the room did not heat up yet). - Capabino Golf Course: nothing special to mention (no positives, no negatives) - La Duquesa Golf Course: nice course worth playing. Because of a mistake in their administration, our tee times were given to other players. They managed to squeeze us in, but one of our groups had to start without any warm-up time. - Los Arqueros Golf Course: wonderful golf course for players of all levels, our favorite. - Flamingos Golf Course: nice golf course, but environment not yet ready (club house in construction, no driving range yet, etc.). Probably nice in a year or two. - Monte Mayor Golf Course: a very difficult course. Also, the driving range is not yet open, forcing players to start cold, but needing "best" shots from the beginning. It was too difficult for the players with high handicaps in our group to cope with. It was also difficult for the players with lower handicaps to cope with this course, as it took a few holes to get used to not having any easy shots. The players with lower handicaps would like to play it again, next time being mentally prepared. The players with higher handicaps do not want to play it again. An additional golf course three of us played on our free day was Marbella Golf and Country Club, 3 kilometers in front of Monte Mayor. This course was unforgettable. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and we had the feeling of playing on our own private course. It is a course for players of all handicap levels. For future holidays I will gladly come back to your organisation, and I will also recommend your organisation to my friends.
- Richard, Winterthur, Switzerland, March 2002

Golfing Group's Algarve Golf Break
Sadly we are now back in the rain soaked UK after a very enjoyable holiday. As you would no doubt have guessed it all worked extremely well. The transfers were on time, the [Vila Gale Marina] Hotel was fine and, most importantly the [Vilamoura] Golf courses were very good and not too difficult for our standard of golf. All in all a very good time was had by all. Many thanks for your efforts, they were much appreciated. We now turn our attentions to next year. We are looking at Estapona in Southern Spain (Costa del Sol)...Once again many thanks for your efforts this year. It was excellent!!
- Tony, Lichfield, Staffs. England, March 2002

Golf on the Costa del Sol
Everything worked great with the golf - except it should have been called the "Costa del Agua" with the amount of rain we had. Anyways, we managed to get all of our golf games in. A few comments on the courses: Marbella Golf: Good course, well maintained. A little on the difficult side because you need to place your shots so well. Definitely not the kind of course to play if you haven't golfed in a while. Los Naranjos: Nice course, lots of rolling fairways, great condition, not overly difficult. Monte Mayor: Definitely one of the toughest courses we have ever played. This course is not for an inexperienced golfer. Beautiful course however. Los Arqueros: Another tough course where you need to be able to place your shots. Great condition. Overall, the quality of all of the courses were very good. Thanks for your assistance in planning our trip.
B.C., Greeley, Ontario, Canada, March 2002

Algarve Golf Holiday
It was an excellent holiday and I could not fault any of your arrangements. Everything went like clockwork; from picking up the car to hotel registration, golf, shuttle services etc etc etc. The [Vila Gale Marina] hotel was very good, we had lovely views across the marina, rooms were clean. spacious and light, maid service daily ensured that everything was clean and tidy. Hotel meals were also very good value and to a good standard. I know it is your job but thank you for making our holiday so easy and for contributing to our enjoyment. No pressures on us at all. I will be in touch for our next planned golfing break even if this is not until later this year or early next year and I have no hesitation in recommending friends to use your company for their golf breaks. Of course if you have any special offers between now and then please send them on!

Costa del Sol Golf Holiday (All-Inclusive at Hotel Don Miguel, Marbella)
what can i say? thank you for your expertise and assistance in arranging our trip to marbella to play golf. atalaya park new courseÊwas great fun, we really enjoyed the tight fairways and quite challenging design. the old course suffered from a few greens under repair but was still fine and gave us an opportunity to actually walk and play. la duquesa was sensational and we all really enjoyed that to. the hotel don miguel was ideal, the all inclusive package was amazing. excellent value all round. we will have no hesitation in using or recommending you in the future.
