Atalaya Old Course was a Golfer's Dream
We enjoyed our holidays in Spain very much. The organisation provided by your company ws perfect. Thank you for that. The Atalaya Old course was a golfer's dream, the New course was a little bit difficult to play, very narrow, very exhausting. The [Don Miguel] Hotel was OK - not super - but in respect to money for value a very very good choice. Food was good (buffet) and drinks were perfect. We are sure that we will book with you again.

Great Time in Algarve
We just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at the Algarve and wanted to thank you for all the arrangements made. Everything worked out perfectly well, including the weather. We really enjoyed our stay and were happy that it was so well booked via Course Master.

Wonderful Golf Holiday
Had a wonderful holiday. All arrangements faultless, [Don Miguel] hotel very good and all-in tariff worked a treat. Loved the Old course at Atalaya, but can't say the same for the New course which was too difficult by far for holiday golf!! Would certainly go again. Let me know if you have any other great offers from time to time.

Unlimited Golf in Algarve
Golf holiday was fine, everything you set up was spot on, [Delfim] Hotel was full of old oldies but you expect that this time of year. Lost one day of golf to the weather, free upgrade in car and [Pinta and Gramacho] courses were excellent. Will recommend.

Penina Amateur Tournament 2003
From the time we landed at Faro everything went like clockwork - there was never any query for anything or anyone - must say it was about the only time I can remember someone else organising something for my wife and me and nothing was out of plan - thanks very much for that. The car hire was OK and no problems at all. We played on Boavista, Palmares and a new one they threw in because Penina was wet (Morgador) a bit of the way inland - but it too being a new course was being protected from the weather and many of the natural hazards were taken out - but on a dry day it looks like being a top course - as for Penina - well it speaks for itself - always a pleasure to play it. The [Le Meridien Penina] hotel is 5 star and there are no complaints from us on that score - that's about all I can say - except to thank you for organising it for myself and my wife.

Professional Service at Hyatt Regency La Manga
Thank you for organising our trip at the Hyatt, La Manga. The complex was great, although there was not a lot open so didn't actually get the chance to have the full feel of the place. I tried to look for the horse riding centre but unfortunately I couldn't find it? Also, my partner became quite ill after the second day so we tried out the room service which was great. All the staff were very professional and very helpful..... I completed one of their questionnaires and mentioned Course Master Holidays and will definitely bear you in mind the next time we travel to La Manga, which hopefully will be in the spring.

Excellent Courses in Algarve
Pinhal, Vale do Lobo (Royal), Villa Sol, Millennium. I liked all four courses and would rate them as follows: 1st - Vale do Lobo - excellent course both condition wise and as a test of golf. 2nd Vila Sol - again an excellent course. 3rd Millennium - more like I'm used to at home. 4th Pinhal - was ok, probably would rate higher if I hadn't played the above, tee times could have been spaced out better. I'd play Vale do Lobo again, would like to try the Ocean Course first, Vila Sol yes and probably Millennium. Would leave out Pinhal. All represented good value for money. Vila Sol and Vale do Lobo are a fantastic test of golf. Millennium would suit seniors. Pinhal suitable for all. The less able will definitely require a buggy as the distance from the green to the next tee can be a fair bit. Service by Course Master. Very good, spoke to others who have used you and agree that it's all very well handled. No problems registering with course officials. Found buggies to be quite expensive compared to UK prices, 60 euro on Val do Lobo although the GPS displaying the distance to the hole was a nice touch.

Brilliant time at La Manga
We had a brilliant time in the La Manga resort, the apartments were first class and the golf courses were excellent. The whole package was great value for money. Thank you for your assistance with the booking.

Golf on Oitavos (Quinta Marinha)
The Oitavos Golf Course was wonderful and in very good condition. They were very helpful on the Sunday (thunderstorm with heavy rain) we should have played and postponed our tee times until Monday. The course is really worth playing and with the price through you it is OK - otherwise I must say it is too expensive compared to the other courses on the coast. But still with the high quality and the perfect standard, I will recommend the course and your company to book the tee times to everyone. Thank you for your great help.

Great Golf in the Algarve
Had a great time, golf was very good and the coupons worked without a hitch for both the car and the golf - thanks for all your assistance. Palmares: Interesting course - two distinct sections - first six holes play as links next to ocean while rest of course is tight and hilly. Course in good shape, especially the greens. Great views of the ocean and surrounding areas. Great course to start off with. Only downside is it is very hard to find as signage off N125 was not the best. Penina: was in very good shape, greens were a little slow - only downside was that they wouldn't let you play from the back tees and as such most of the par 5's and some on the par 4's played extremely short. Quite flat and easy to walk, even for an old guy, would save money on power cart (buggie). Staff was very helpful and friendly. Carvoiero Pinta: right up there as my favourite course. Well laid out with lots of elevation changes. Fairways are wide and generous with most of the trouble around the greens (traps). Trees were mostly olive trees and were sparse, although I did manage to get behind several of them. Par 4's and 5's were good length and the par 3's were challenging. Greens were in fabulous shape and rolled true. Definitely would recommend a power cart for this one. Again, the problem was finding the course - signage not very good and clubhouse is not near the course. Would definitely play again and again. (Looked at Gramacho while there a it looks very nice.) Laguna: the disappointment of the trip - extremely flat and with little character. Was in good shape but left lots to be desired - would not recommend to anyone to play here. Old Course: great layout - scenic course with umbrella pines lining fairways (and sometimes in the middle of them). Not too severe in elevation change, but rolling countryside with many picturesque holes. I would like to play again, however, the course was not in great condition - greens were very slow and the fairways had been aerated and were spotty. Round took 5 1/2 hours to play which is extremely slow for over there. Too many people on course - not enough time between groups. Quinta da Cima: was allowed to play the championship course (Cima) even though booked on Ria. Right up there as my favourite - another course that I would highly recommend although it's a little further east (about an hour from Albufeira). Course was in immaculate shape. Greens were a good size and fast and the fairways were generous with good roll. Trouble if you were not on the fairway and lots of sand around the greens. Played from the back tees and the course is a challenge. Not too hilly, extremely walkable. Would play this one again and again. Looked at Ria while there - looked to be in great shape with more scenic holes nearer to the ocean - not as long as Cima and not as difficult. Vale de Lobo: Played Royal from the championship tees - wouldn't do that again. Extremely long course, well laid out. Was in excellent shape and the greens were the fastest of any of the courses that I played. Fairways were reasonable, though not too wide, however the rough was extremely thick and difficult to get out off. Members told me that since they played the Portugese Open there they had let the rough stay thick - sometimes too difficult for us amateurs. Sixteenth hole was a must play for anyone - over the inlets beside the ocean. Fairly up and down course - not flat. Would play there again and would recommend to anyone. Downside was that it was extremely expensive to rent a power cart (buggie) 60 euros - got a battery powered push cart for 12 euros. Villa Sol: Another good course - well laid out with challenging holes. Scenic course - would have like to play the other nine holes there. Golfer friendly if in the fairways - lots of trees lining the fairways to create problems if you were not straight. Course was in great shape both fairways and greens as were the sand traps. Would play again and would recommend. Quinta da Lago - North: I think the tougher of the two courses. Very challenging course with tight tree lined fairways with small to medium greens. Was in very good condition. Only problem was that the distances between green to the next tee was very long on some holes (some seemed like a 1/2 mile). Would definitely play again and would recommend. Qinta da Lago - South: Nice course, not as tough as North but in excellent condition. Well laid out with challenge on every hole. Lots of sand and water hazards on this one. Similiar to North with tree lined fairways but easier to walk than north not as hilly. Again would play again and would recommend. Some general comments: most of the courses were extremely wet even though it only rained one night that I was there - they must water like crazy - which means that you don't get much roll on the fairways (although the greens held extremely well). You might want to warn your clients that the yardage markers on the side of the fairways (100, 150, 200 meters) are to the front of the greens and not to the middle - would have saved some strokes. Also the price of power carts was ridiculous ranging from 40 to 60 euros a round - unless you could get someone to share with you. And lastly finding the courses can be difficult so allow lots of time for backtracking. The other thing that I noticed was the lack of "beer carts" on the courses. You would be lucky to see them once a round if at all. Take you own refreshments. I also took a look a Parque da Floresta while there and would not want to play or would not recommend to anyone. Not a flat lie on the course (all side hill). Again, I had a great time and look forward to going back to play in Portugal again. Thanks for all you help and would recommend Course Master to anyone thinking of setting up a golfing holiday.

First Class Holiday in Florida
We had a very good holiday at the Plantation Inn. The villa we stayed in, and the golf course, is first class. The arrangements for the car at Sanford airport was also very good, and we shall be booking our next golf holiday with you.

Everything was 110% even the weather stayed dry while we played golf. Have booked a flight on the 3rd March 04 and would welcome advice on Golf Schools in Vilamoura.

A1 Golf in Costa del Sol
The [Costa Marina] hotel was super staff were friendly and helpful as ever, deserves more. Parador golf was not in the best condition but this was the cheapest course so you get what you pay for (not your fault). All other courses [Torrequebrada, Miraflores, Cabopino] were A1 and staff etc were excellent.

Great Service, Great Holiday
Just you let you know every thing was great the level of service was great had a couple of wet days thought you could have done something about that only joking. In future when choosing a golf holiday I will most certainly put the business your way. Thanks for all your help.

No Hassle Golf
Rio Real - good value, good course. Helpful staff at golf course. Would play again. Marbella Golf & Country Club - as above. Would play again buggy essential. La Cala South. Lovely course would play again. All staff at course were helpful. It was reassuring that the booking procedure on arrival involved no hassle and the golf voucher was easily recognisable by the staff. Service by Course Master. Excellent. Very helpful as we changed the numbers and courses a couple of times but seemed to be no hassle. Thanks.

Golf in the Costa Blanca
We enjoyed playing the golf courses. Unfortunately we were unable to complete the 18 holes on Alenda due to a thunder storm so we thought we would re-book for another round but they were fully booked. Alicante Golf was a long round and had to wait on every hole but it beats work! Bonalba and El Plantio are good and well maintained. The amount of building work going on at Bonalba we feel that the apartments/villas will encroach too much on the golf course and would spoil the views. Thank you for your assistance in booking the courses - we will certainly use you again.
- C Bowler, Dorking, Surrey, UK, October 2003

Good Courses in Algarve
Thanks - a great holiday. The courses we all very good - especially Quinta do Lago. If there was one disappointment, it was that at Vilasol we played holes 1-9 and 19-27, where we would have liked to have been booked onto holes 10-18 (the best nine of the courses). Many thanks for your assistance in the holiday.

Vilamoura Courses in Good Condition
Our holiday was excellent. The [Vila Galé Ampalius] Hotel in itself, and its closeness to the center of Vilamoura suited us perfect. The Golf courses [Laguna, Vilasol, Pinhal, Millennium] were in very good condition, and well suited for our HCPs. All in all it was perfect, and we will definitely use you also on forthcoming Golfing trips.

Challenging Golf in Algarve
Thank you for your service, the arrangements worked out very well. The room we had in the [Delfim] hotel was good but the extractor in the bathroom did not appear to work and we reported this. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the selection of food for breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the two courses [Pinta and Gramacho] and in someways found them more challenging than the Penina championship course which we also played. The club house was very comfortable and the staff very friendly, therefore no complaints.
- P Woodward, Farnham Common, Slough, UK, October 2003

Golf on Morgado do Reguengo, Algarve
We had a great holiday. The [Morgado] course will be very good in a couple years, when the fairways and rough mature. The greens were the best we played on this trip. Many thanks.
- D McCorduck, Co Tipperary, Ireland, October 2003

Great Time in Marbella
All in all we had a great time thank you. Everything from the car to booking into the hotel to playing on the superb courses was made all the more easier thanks to your booking arrangements. Only disappointment was the [Don Miguel] hotel was not entirely 'all inclusive'. The main bar area where you can relax by watching the large screen or listen and enjoy the entertainment charged 50% for 'all inclusive' residents. If you wanted the all inclusive drinks you had to sit in an alternative 'cafe' type bar set out at the end of the main foyer of the reception area.

Superb Golf on Costa del Sol
We had a wonderful holiday everything ran like clockwork I will have no hesitation recommending your company's services to my mates. The most difficult of the courses was Lost Arqueros and they have a stringent dress code even for ladies. The other three [Cabopino, Santa Maria, Estepona] we played were superb in all aspects particularly in the friendliness of all staff. We will be going out again sometime in March and I will get in touch for you to arrange everything. Thanks once again.
- K Barwell, UK, October 2003

Fantastic Holiday in Algarve
The holiday was fantastic now I know why the holiday was a lot cheaper than other couples who were at the Delfim [Hotel], they played different courses so they had to pay for that privilege. Once again thanks for all your help and we will be booking with you again.

Golf Break to Albufeira
Just a quick thankyou for all your help in planning our boys trip to Portugal the Cerro Alagoa Hotel was great and we had a good game of golf at the Laguna course through the rain that is!! Although my playing partners did not need to worry about the rain as they lost most of their balls in the lakes!! Thanks again for coming up trumps and I look forward to talking with you for next years trip and hopefully a business trip as well.

No Fault Golf Holiday to Algarve
Excellent holiday thankyou - all went very smoothly apart from being late first morning trying to find the [Carvoeiro] golf course - but they still slotted us in - the staff were wonderful at the golf course and the [Delfim] hotel and we can't fault anything - prices fine, food very good, accommodation very good - we will definitely be using Coursemaster for all future golf holidays abroad and we are hoping to make it an annual event. Many thanks.

Enjoyable Golf on Costa del Sol
Thank you for the arrangements which went extremely well and took all the bother out of the trip. Estepona was on a wet day so it didn't show the course off to its best advantage, also there was quite a bit of work going on around the course area, of the three we enjoyed this one least, but it was still well worth the visit. Rio Real was first class and all I hoped it would be from my trips past it on previous visits. In good shape and lots of work going on to keep it so. Santa Maria again was beautiful and my playing colleague enjoyed this one best, his first trip, my second here. It's a very good course and very friendly. Thanks again.

Costa Courses Impressed
Thanks for your note and for your patience in getting our group sorted out. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were generally impressed with the courses that we played. No hassle with the vouchers or production of handicap certificates. Lauro. Would have been OK but desperately slow when we played. Really nice lunch in courtyard before teeing off. Good condition overall. Road signs hopeless. Directions from Malaga airport on the voucher need tightening as it's really easy to get lost. Typically, the signs for places like Coin appear after the junction - don't ask me to explain the logic of that one! Alcaidesa. Absolutely fantastic course despite the fact that when you get there it is much less inviting than Lauro (pro shop / restaurant etc). There are some really beautiful holes, including the second which required a 170-odd metre carry to the green. If you miss the green, you have pretty much lost your ball. Buggies recommended. Not really a links course in that the fairways are undulating as opposed to bumpy and the grass is "normal". Well worth the 70-odd minute drive from Malaga. Not a course for the beginner. Stunning! Estepona (we booked this one on-spec for Saturday). Very friendly, hilly, some attractive holes but a bit "samey" - same sort of trees and landscape throughout. Good condition, reasonably quiet. Parador del Golf. Another brilliant course, fairly flat but very varied with some beautiful holes that can take you from sea views to parkland to woods. The parakeets are everywhere. Despite the noise, they bring a smile to your face as you watch their antics wherever you go. Holes are long, but suitable for low and higher handicappers. Lots of aircraft, but not really a nuisance. Some parts of the fairways were a little bare, but greens excellent. Man in kiosk by first and tenth fairways needs adrenalin injection - staggeringly slow. Great course to play as you arrive or leave from Malaga.
- F Beck, UK, October 2003

Golf Time in Algarve
We had a really great time in the Algarve - the [Vila Gale Ampalius] hotel was excellent and we enjoyed the courses - although we would not be that keen on playing Pinhal and Laguna if we were to go back. Millennium and the Old Course were excellent.
- G Markey, Edinburgh, Scotland, October 2003

Real Value for Money
I must say all 4 of us thought the holiday was fantastic and everything so well arranged. It was the first time we had been on holiday without going through the normal package holiday companies and we were all well impressed. It was real value for money and having been to the Algarve twice before [with other companies] there is no comparison. Myself and my partner do quite a few golfing holidays and I will have no hesitation in using yourselves again, in fact people that are close to me have also been impressed with the price we paid so I will also be sharing your details with them.

All-inclusive Golfing Holiday in Marbella
The holiday was great, the [Don Miguel] hotel was very nice and catered for all our needs also not too busy. The golfing was very good and we enjoyed each game [on Atalaya]. Had a slight problem with the car hire in that they wanted us to pay again on collection but this was resolved within a short space of time with no further hiccups!! Thank you for all your attention and we will not hesitate to use Coursemaster again in the future.

Golf Holiday at Puerto La Duquesa
We did enjoy our Holiday after the rain died down from Tuesday on we could sun bath by the pool every day after golf [Monte Duquesa]. The apartment was very nice inside with all the equipment you could want but it did feel a bit like a block of council flats when you entered them with a locked front communal door then lifts/stairs to the various apartments. We were quite close to the golf course but you could only see other flats from our window. The best thing was though you could walk into the port of an evening and didn't need to be travelling out to eat if you didn't want to and the port was great I bet it would be even better a little earlier in the year when all the restaurants were open but there was still a good choice. The golf courses we played were fine Estepona is much improved but I wouldn't play it again. La Canada was the best it is great value for money with beautiful views to the sea and the mountains. The one where we stayed [La Duquesa] was also very good but it rained that day so they never seem quite so impressive, although we would pass it going into town and say how good it looked it looked even better a 11.30 pm on our return!
- Mrs Y Evans, UK, October 2003

Golf in Eastern Algarve
I would like to thank you and Coursemaster for a very enjoyable weekends golf. The [Vila Gale Tavira] hotel was excellent and three golf courses [Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima and Benamor] were very good, and we would like to say the Quinta de Ria is probably the best golf course any of us has ever played on. Thanks again and look forward to next year.

Costa del Sol Golf Course Reviews
Thanks for your service. We had no problems with the bookings, everything worked perfect, including finding the the courses, thanks to your description. Alhaurin was very special, due to the mountains. Very beautiful but challenging. Gaudalhorce is more like Swedish courses with plenty of space. Miraflores is too narrow and all the buildings are built too close to the course. This doesn't give the players the feeling of being on a golf course. I wish you good luck with your future business.
- Bernt Forsmoo, Goteborg, Sweden, October 2003

Costa del Sol Course Updates
We had a great time. In terms of courses:- La Quinta - undergoing a lot of maintenance at the time we played it (temporary greens on 3 holes etc), so not in good condition. Also the B course was still closed (has been for months) due to a complete rebuild. Monte Mayor - absolutely stunning, incredibly difficult, fantastic scenery. Expect to lose a lot of balls (between 6 of us, we lost 60 balls and we are not bad players!). The clubhouse let it down though. We had breakfast there before we teed off and it was awful and very expensive. Los Flamingos - again a stunning course, which had hosted a senior tour competition 3 weeks before we played it. A real players course, very fast greens and well set up. Los Naranjos - I know this course is enjoyable as I have played it on a previous visit. Unfortunately, our experience on this occasion was marred by a) slow play (it took 3.5 hours to do 7 holes) and b) the weather (thunderstorm stopped play after 7 holes). Overall though a great variety of courses.
- G Jenkinson, Harpenden, Herts, UK, October 2003

Quinta do Lago in Excellent Condition
As you know we played the Quinta South course and can only say that the course was in excellent condition and that the staff were fantistic. They were very helpful and accommodating. Arranging the golf with you made life a lot easier and the info on the golf on your web site helped me decide to go with you. We will definitely book with you again especially when we go to Florida and get a package deal.
- R Mumford, Upminster, Essex, UK, October 2003

Enjoyable Golf in the Algarve
Thanks for the follow-up. That was our first experience in Portugal and we would go back. You were most efficient in organizing my golf with short notice and the clubs placed me with groups that I enjoyed playing with. I enjoyed the Millennium course but not so much the lay-out of Pinhal and Salgados. I was treated very well by the staff at all courses. I found the golf a little pricey for what you get as compared to what we get in Canada, especially the "buggies", but, perhaps, that was because the cost of everything else in Portugal seemed so reasonable. Nevertheless, on vacation I would prefer to play higher-end courses in the future if they were available. I won't be booking another golf holiday until end of March or early April. I have your Email address and will contact you for further trips.

Unlimited Golf Package Excellent Value for Money
Holiday was excellent. Have added comments below. Car Hire - very quick and efficient pick up. Directions to drop off could have been better specified. Also no obvious petrol stations near to drop off - meaning paying car hire petrol rates. Advice on nearest petrol station would have been helpful. [Dom Joao II] Apartment was good - clean and comfortable. One minor point which is appropriate to the hotel - no dishwashing detergent or cloth was provided and dishes not cleaned during daily servicing. I wouldn't expect dishes to be washed but therefore need something to wash them with. Pinta and Gramacho - both courses good, would definitely play them again and value for money was excellent (unlimited golf package) Service by Course Master. Very good. Everything provided as detailed. Only comment would be that directions to the hotel could be slightly better - think the roads may have changed slightly since these were originally done. Hotel did not provide any useful directions to the golf courses so this may be useful to include. Would happily use Course Master again and recommend them.

Value for Money
Benabola apt was huge and fantastic the staff were very friendly and helpful especially when the apt flooded due to a leak from the above apt. Service by Course Master.1st class - again very friendly and by far the cheapest we could find...... but a much better quality apt than we expected.General Comments...will definitely use you again and have already passed your details to several friends...THANK YOU very much.

Getting up and down on Costa Golf Courses
Comments as follows: Alhaurin - one of our favourite courses in the past but suffering from a lack of investment. Course condition was very poor and buggy paths are now quite dangerous. Won't be returning next year. La Cala N&S - in perfect condition, joy to play and quite a tough challenge. Great clubhouse and all round superb set up. Monte Mayor - great condition and good set up. Unfortunately found it too tough this year and will probably give it a miss next year. Need to be playing off around 12 to enjoy the course properly. Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular courses on the coast and a very demanding challenge. Santa Clara - fabulous. Best set up course we have played. Very fair test of golf and in great condition. However, annoyed that the greens had been cored the day before we arrived. We played in high season and paid high season prices - this work should have been done before the start of high season!! Definitely be back. Estepona - another favourite of ours previously but unfortunately it seems to be lacking in investment as well. Condition wasn't great and we will probably give it a miss next year. Miraflores - thoroughly enjoyed the course again. Good condition although could do with a little work done on it. However, fair test of golf and well set up. Does this help? Looking forward to next year already.

Golf at Estepona and La Duquesa
Thanks for organising everything for us so promptly, we had a great time. The courses were fantastic, and we played both Estepona and La Duqesa all week. Looking forward to going back in the new year.

Slow Play ruined the day at Vilamoura
The courses themselves were fine, The Old Course at Vilamoura predictably the best, but really not so much in it to justify the difference in cost. Our problem was slow play, with a four ball taking not less than four and a half hours. We walked off Vilamoura Old having played14 holes in five and a quarter hours, which is quite ridiculous. I spoke to the course manager, but they are too keen on the green fees to take any necessary action. In this case three fourballs, Irish I think, played in the morning, probably not sober, probably high handicap if in fact they had one, and finding the course difficult, ruined the day for everyone else. The manager knew this but seemed to accept it as a fait accompli. Wouldn't happen in a good course Ireland! They need to insist on seeing a current handicap certificate, not less than18 for men, AND DO NOT TAKE THE GREENFEE if that is not available. Fat chance! I will think again before returning.

Golf on Costa Blanca
It was really good. Some points to note that are of concern at Bonalba: 1. They tried to fob us off one day with electric trolleys because they were hiring buggies without keeping proper control of the numbers available. 2. They are making a big mistake by allowing people onto the course without checking their ability levels during play. On the Costa del Sol, there would be marshalls patrolling much more often, and some groups in front of us (always British) should have been pulled off. Being stuck behind 'players' who hit the ball out of bounds on practically every tee-shot, or who each take four shots from the tee and still do not reach 50 yards is not acceptable. This is much more strictly controlled on the more busy costas. Otherwise the course is beautiful.

Golf Holiday in Praia da Rocha, Algarve
Our stay in Portugal was very good. The [Algarve Casino] hotel, although dated, was very good and the staff was most accommodating. Entertainment in the hotel was fun as well. Portimao, not as resorty as Albufeira and catering to an older crowd. I was pleased by how everyone in the service industry speak English as well. The car worked well for us, only because our friends did not have their golf clubs. They were just off a Cruise and had lots of luggage and we only just all fit on our way to and from the Airport. The third course Carvoeiro was spectacular and up to our North American standards. Renting clubs especially left handed ladies clubs was difficult at Alto and Palmares, no problem at the last one. It was very wet the first couple of days so no carts at Palmares. Our friends could only handle the first nine. Doug and I managed to walk the whole 18 but there were a lot of hills on the back nine. The back nine was the best part of this course, was not impressed by the condition of the front. They had a very dry summer so I am sure that that was the biggest problem. I was definitely go back to P{ortugal again and this time would like to stay around Vilamoura. There seems to be more golf courses in that area. All our vouchers worked well. Thanks again. Hopefully this critique will help for anyone else from North America.

[Quinta do Lago South and Vale do Lobo Royal] golf courses are more than ok. I hope we will come again and of course we will use your service.

Vilamoura Golf Holiday
Just a quick note to thank the staff at Coursemaster for all your help in organising our golfing trip this year. It was, yet again, a great success. The [Vila Gale] hotel was excellent, made all the better by getting upgraded to Duplex Suites due to shortage of twin rooms in the hotel. The course transfers you organised were spot on as well and they all arrived on time and with very friendly drivers so thanks for sorting that out at such short notice. The weather was excellent for golfing, the Old Course and Laguna were in great conditon and both courses at Quinta do Lago were exceptional to play. Unfortunately having looked forward to it so much the Royal Course at Vale do Lobo proved to be the greatest dissapointment. I have seen council courses over here in far superior condition and it is hard to believe the Portugese Open was held there this year. It was nothing short of a disgrace. The Royal Course aside it was an excellent week and we have already decided on returning next year and would very much like to use Coursemaster again and I shall be in touch in the next couple of weeks to start the ball rolling for next year. On behalf of my party, thanks once again.

Good Golf on Vilamoura Courses

Golf near Malaga
Had a fantastic time. Comments below. Golf courses. We played Baviera (twice), Guadalhorce, Alhaurin(twice), Lauro. We had never played abroad before, but the overwhelming thoughts of the 4 in our party were that they were all excellent courses and superseded anything we'd played on at home. Alhaurin is a particularly challenging course. If we were to go back next year and had to play the same courses again then we would definitely be looking forward to the prospect of each and every one. We were a little apprehensive at first because of stories of brusque marshalls etc etc but we didn't encounter a single problem with staff or players at any course and simply had a great time. In fact we couldn't find the Guadalhorce course (if there is any criticism then it is that that particular course isn't well sign posted) and ended up being late for our Tee. The staff at the course simply slotted us into the playing order - no problem. For the record, we were never asked for handicap certificates. Value for money - we think so. 5 hours top class entertainment for about £40 including buggy - that's not bad. Service by Course Master. Excellent. Absolutely no problems with the bookings made on our behalf. The pre booking questions we had (and there were a few as we'd never been before) were always answered in a timely manner. Payment arrangements with the credit card (ie splitting the charge over a time period to give me time to clear my balance) were adhered to. If we can build up enough brownie points at home in the next 12 months then we'll definitely come back to you next year. General Comments The only thing I would do differently next time is put more up front effort into getting directions to each course. Might be an opportunity for you to add this to the services you provide. Use the main N340 as your reference point and make a small charge for detailed instructions on how to get to each course. Hope that helps. If you need more specific information about any or all of the courses then let me know. Bottom line though is that they were all great. Thanks again for the arrangements made by yourselves.

Golf Holiday at Islantilla (Isla Canela)
Car hire at Faro very straightforward. Easy access to the Auto Jardim desk. Ford Focus estate well suited to our requirements. Confortel Islantilla was excellent. The rooms were of a good standard and the service of all staff we came into contact with was very good. One of the best things about the hotel was the breakfast Ð superb! Other hotel facilities and services were all of a very high standard, and the one thing we all noticed was the high level of cleanliness throughout the establishment. Isla Canela: On the day we had nothing to compare this with as it was the first course we played; but as the week went on it became apparent that this course was not of as high a standard as any of the other three we played. This course is quite easy and as such is a good place to have the first round of the week. However, the course is blighted by the amount of building work going on along many of the holes. Also the green keeping staff seemed to have got a little carried away with the sprinklers and the course was decidedly soggy/muddy in places; so much so that we employed UK winter rules! Islantilla: Fantastic course near the hotel. Great facilities all round. Easy to see why this course has hosted Tour events. We paid extra to play an extra nine with a buggy on this day. That worked out a bit pricey, but booked through Course Master this course is great value. Also slightly over-watered in places. Nuevo Portil: Personally I thought this was the best course we played. Quite flat, but also quite long. In great condition, but that is no surprise as we only saw one other two-ball all day! This course is finished off so well. Not a stone or blade of grass out of place. Situated in what is obviously a bit of an upmarket area. Castro Marim: Short, but tough course cut out of a lunar-like landscape. Played terribly, but still loved it. Some great holes. Buggies are essential as some of the slopes are huge. New 18 being constructed with a new club house which is needed as the current club house is just a large Portakabin arrangement.

Golf in Cyprus
We played Aphrodite Hills,Cyprus. The course was !st class, a pleasure to play, the service was superb, the staff and management were friendly and very helpful We would most definitely recommend this venue to anyone and hope to play there again one day. For the price of 37 Cyprus pounds we agree we got a great deal. Thanks again for all your assistance.

Golf on the Costa del Sol
Shame about the spiked and sanded greens but I guess that's what you get coming up to the high season, paying low season prices. Mote Mayor is fantastic 10/10 (scorecard, pencil and water on the buggy's a great touch) very (very) difficult, but superb all the same. El Paraiso, Cabopino and Los Arqueros were very good indeed. 9/10. Estepona was a let down (third division compared with the rest) 6/10. La Cala (not booked through you) is an excellent course but always seems to be spoilt by their attitude and we had a single German join our 7 ball (3+4) without any choice. We were told he had to join us. Last year we had 2 three balls (team game) and were forced to split into a 4 & a 2 to accommodate a German couple! We will never play La Cala again!!! Shame 'cos it's a cracking course. 7/10 only because of the above. We would use a different car hire company next time. We resent having to pay for a full tank and take it back empty which is just about impossible. Small point but very annoying! Don't like being ripped off regardless of the amount involved! Many thanks for your help. We all had an absolutely brilliant time.
- A Bonner,

Golf in Marbella and Sotogrande
We had a great time in Spain. All six courses had our reservations and all aspects were quickly honored. Santa Clara: A fun, well maintained course; fairly easy; had some wet spots. San Roque: Great layout; tougher course; tricky greens; maintenance was fair to good. Fairways thin in spots. Greens in fair shape. Flamingo Rosa: Tighter course; well maintained; fairly easy. Great lunch after golf. Valderrama: Worth the trip and its rating. Expensive. 15 minute tee times so not rushed. Hard course for first time play. Lots of ball positioning and course knowledge but fun for the recreational golfer. In great shape. Cork trees are beautiful. Tough greens. Beautiful, well stocked pro shop. Almenara: Hilly. Lots of wet spots. Least interesting layouts of the six courses played. Course in fair to good shape. Friendly staff in pro shop and cart barns. Good restaurant at golf course. Sotogrande: Interesting layout and fun course. Easy to walk. Good to excellent condition.

Algarve Golf School Holiday
It was a great holiday. Only real surpise was that the [Carvoeiro] golf courses and [David Leadbetter] school were quite far away from the [Delfim] hotel (15 minute drive). I was under the impression they were together. Maybe I missed it somewhere on the website, but it would probably help to let people know in advance. Otherwise had a great time and hope to do it again. Thanks again for all your help!

Great Golf in the Algarve
I had a great time and played golf on three different courses. Pinecliffs. This was expensive for nine holes. The course though was in fantastic condition. Gramacho. Just Brilliant. Salgados. Wonderful an interesting course with all that water.

Golf in Marbella
The feedback I can give you only relates to the golf as the rest of the holiday was booked via someone else. The courses we played were Rio Real this was fine and everything was as we expected having played there on several occasions. The second was Monte Mayor where again the course and attitude of the people was great. The third course we played was Santa Maria which we had never played but was recommended although the set up of the course was good the greens had been treated about 4 days previous and they were useless plus there were some temporary greens and I feel that in these circumstances the course should offer some refund on the green fee also after the round (5.30 approx) we were having a few beers and they shut the bar very early, this was while there were some people still out on the course. We have played about 24 courses in the Costa del Sol area and never had this problem. Lastly we played La Cala (South) which we have played on numerous occasions and the course and attitude of everyone was first class which is what we have come to expect with a 5 star set up which it is.Lastly I would like to thank you for setting up the golf which apart from Santa Maria was excellent which was down to them and nothing to do with your arrangements.

Golf Holiday at La Cala
We were absolutely delighted with our holiday. The La Cala Resort was everything we were looking for and more. I would recommend the hotel to anyone considering a golf holiday in the Costa del Sol or just considering a relaxing break. We found the staff at La Cala Resort to be exceptional in meeting our expectations. I travel a great deal in my work and stay at many hotels across the UK and Western Europe, I would argue that the staff at La Cala are the very best, in all areas. They really made the holiday memorable. Good service really does make the difference. The golf academy was brilliant. The friendliness of the instructors and other staff at the academy helped to put me at my ease. They quickly identified the areas of weakness in my game (not difficult when there are so many) and worked hard with me to improve my posture and swing. Similarly to the La Cala Resort I would recommend the David Leadbetter Golf Academy at La Cala to anyone looking to improve their game, or thinking about taking it up. The courses at La Cala (South and North Course) are good and are very testing. However, current building work around parts of the course are distracting and some of the greens are desperately in need of a 'rest'. In summary we had a great time, the weather was fine, the hotel and golf excellent. We have both come back very relaxed and ready to go back to work. Can't finish off without passing on our thanks to yourselves though. We really appreciate the effort you put into making the necessary arrangements. I don't think we had any problem at any stage from the moment we first logged on to your web site and booked the holiday until we arrived back at Edinburgh airport after the holiday. Many thanks. We'll definitely be booking any future golf holidays through Course Master and I will be recommending your company to friends and colleagues.

Temporary Greens at Vale do Lobo in September
Just back from a fantastic break in Portugal. Thanks very much for your organisation, everything went very smoothly. Just one thing you may like to know is that the Royal course at Vale Do Lobo is in pretty bad condition at the moment. We were advised not to play it and to play the Ocean course instead but everyone was doing that so it would have been incredibly busy. They should really have let organisers like yourself know so other arrangements could have been made. They obviously didn't want to lose the green fees (115 euros each!). Nonetheless we had a great time and thanks once again for your help, we will definitely be back to you next year.

Great Golf in Spain
We had a great time in Spain thank you and the golf was excellent. The only down side was we ended up playing La Cala North twice instead of one of each. When we got there the second time they told us the South was closed for repairs, though it had been open the first time we were there. So that was a little disappointing. However, the courses were in superb condition, San Roque was fantastic and Santa Clara, your recommendation, was great and probably our favourite course during the week. Thanks again for organising it for us.

Golf near Alicante
Our holiday in Spain was absolutely perfect. We stayed in a place called Albir about 50 km north of Alicante. It took us between 30 and 45 minutes to drive to the golf courses. Regarding the condition on the courses we thought that all courses were beautiful but I guess that we were a bit unfortunate because on the day we played Bonalba they did a lot of work on the course so there was a lot of sand on all the greens. We spoke to the manager after the round and we managed to get half the green fee back. El Plantio had had a lot of problem with the greens because of the hot summer but they agreed to give us the money back for the buggies when we spoke to them after the round. Alenda Golf and Alicante Golf were in perfect condition and we were very pleased with them. Thanks to you it was easy to find all the golf courses. I really must say that you are offering a really nice service to all golfers. The next time I'm going on a golf holiday I will definitely book my tee times on your web site.

Pinhal - Magnificent
Thank-you for an excellent game of golf, we played the Pinhal golf course and it was truly magnificent. All arrangements went smoothly and it was exactly as you said. I would like to think I will be going back for a bit more golf with my father-in-law.

Golf in Badajoz, Spain
We did enjoy the holiday, thanks very much. No real problems. Comments under headings below: Car Hire. Travel from Madrid airport. No difficulties with the car hire apart from finding the correct desk (National Atesa). They do take a significant retainer on your Credit card (no debit cards allowed). 3.5 hours travel to Badajoz from Madrid. Hotel. Hotel Badajoz. Very nice, not quite at British or American four star standard but cosy all the same. A bit of a squeeze with the extra bed in though. Friendly staff at reception, bar and restaurant. Good English speakers at reception. Service good, rooms cleaned same time every day etc. Good food. The hotel didn't have any specific directions/maps to their affiliated golf courses though. Thankfully we had done quite a bit of internet research and were able to find them without too much problem. Both just over an hours drive from the hotel. Also, the hotel is not quite in Badajoz (4km away). There are two options, drive or get a taxi. Taxi was quite expensive, 10-15 euros one way. Going to the city was a necessity over the week as there isn't much to do in the evenings in or around the hotel. Golf courses. 1) Guadiana Golf Course, Badajoz. A very nice golf course. Surprisingly long. Some notes for future travellers though....the tee to green distances are shown in metres not yards as we are used to in the UK (I spent the first 10 holes wondering why I kept selecting the wrong club!!) If you have an early tee off time then the course plays significantly longer because the fairways are literally saturated (as is required in 38 degrees July/August). They dry out by 11am. Considering the weather/heat, absolutely brilliantly managed course! Excellent clubhouse, lush fairways, true greens. Can't remember the specific price for the course but would have paid up to 50euros to play. 2) Norba golf course, Caceres: Another nice course, although I suspect it plays very different outside of the summer months. Not so well watered, very, very hard ground (I hit an approx 360 yard drive!, 180 yards in the air, 180 yards downhill bounce on a concrete fairway!!), good greens. Some very nice holes, the 1st and the 14th, both Par 5's in particular. Laid back staff, lovely clubhouse (good tapas!!). We were a little disappointed to arrive for our second round there to find that the front 9 holes had been closed for maintenance and therefore we had to play the back 9 twice which took something away from the round. It may be worth checking on this sort of planned maintenance in advance. Would definitely play again, especially when it is cooler (Oct/Nov time). 3) Ammaia Golf Course, Marvao, Portugal. This golf course we had the most disagreements about. A completely different style to the previous two courses, a Portuguese hillside course. I personally though it was the best of them all. Picturesque (Par 3 13th was the most beautiful hole I have ever played!!), very taxing. The downside in the eyes of my playing partners was that the fairways were light rough (clover covered in places) and the rough was jungle! Beautifully fragrant mint, basil, lavender, clover jungle, but jungle nontheless. I blame them for going in it! In fairness to the club pro he apologised saying that the course is set up for the start of the season and therefore in ship shape by mid September. Bearing in mind that you play what is in front of you, I thought it was a good test, and again, beautiful. The bar/restaurant is actually run by an ever so friendly English/Portuguese couple so for info (and beer in a pint glass!) that is the place to go! Also bear in mind that this golf course was right in the middle of where the worst forest fires were in early August and may have gone a little downhill if everyone was spending day and night saving their houses for miles around (which is what I would do!!) I would love to play again. Everything else with the holiday was very comfortable. Note that we were never asked for our handicap cards at any stage. Also, we found out after the first day that tee times aren't too important. People (including us in the end) played for 6 or 9 holes, went for a drink and then slotted back out onto the course!! This may only be because it was so hot, and the course were so empty. But that said the locals were so relaxed it's probably the case all year! It is worth warning anone who goes to Badajoz in July/August about the heat. There can't be many places in the world where you can play golf in almost 40 degrees of heat, and you need to pack accordingly!

Alcaidesa is a Favourite
All went very smoothly, ordering with you, which we'll no doubt do again next year. We've played a couple of times at Alcaidesa previously so knew what to expect. The course is one of our favourites and was in really good shape.

Eastern Algarve Golf
I was very pleased with my holiday. Especially pleased I was with your service! Everything worked to perfection, no problems in the three courses that I played (except my numerous bad shots!). I will inform my friends of your excellent service. Here a few comments of the courses I played: 1. Benamor. A park-like course with relatively short courses. Windy, adding some difficulty. A suitable starting course for a club-player. 2. Villamoura/Millennium. Despite being only 3 years old the course is both well done and demanding for a player of my standard. Perhaps one might say that the whole Villamoura golf complex is beginning to look like a golf industry with all the condos and housings around the courses. 3. Castro Marim. The course is actually on a hill /mountain top. Very demanding in the sense that all courses are uphill/downhill. It feels fine to hit it 250 meters until you realize that your next shot will be less than100m with the same club. Strong and gusty wind made it difficult to even putt; one had to take wind into consideration when putting! The whole complex is still under construction, but the course itself has already taken shape. With the temperatures above +30 C and me carrying my bag I really had a sporty round of golf. I would recommend this course for people seeking something extra instead of standard courses.

Golf on Santa Clara, Marbella
Holiday was wonderful, as was Santa Clara Golf Course. Shortish par 71 but very tight with a lot of water. One of the best courses I've played. The par 5 8th drops about 200 feet tee to green and the views are magnificent.

Courses in Good Condition on Costa del Sol
Everything went very well, the 4 courses we chose [Monte Mayor, San Roque, Almenara, Sotogrande] were in excellent condition and the check ins with the green fee vouchers I down loaded went with out any problems, thanks once again.

Wonderful Holiday in Vilamoura
I and my party have nothing but praise for the holiday that we had at the end of July this year. I was fortunate to have stayed in the Vila Gale Marina Hotel the previous year, and that is why I requested it again. The service, the rooms and the food were all top class. The only down comment was the shuttle to the golf courses; it was never on time and thus resulted in a bit of a rush to get booked into the courses and get ready for play. On arrival at the airport we were picked up by bus and delivered to the Hotel with ease and comfort of journey. Booking in was equally easy, although the other family travelling with me had to wait a few hours until their room was ready. This was not the fault of the Hotel rather it was down to our flight arriving in the morning. We originally had booked to play 4 courses, but in the end, due to the hot weather (43C on one day) we opted to play Pinhal twice - lots of trees for shelter. The way that your company handled this was brilliant. A quick telephone call to yourself and Carol made all the arrangements so everything went smoothly for us. The courses we played - Villamoura Old, Pinhal and Millennium were fantastic. How they produce fairways and greens with such sunny and dry conditions, marvelled me. As I said, Pinhal was so beautiful, we played it twice! Villamoura is not an "average" package holiday resort, and as such, although the price of the golf was high, it was what one would expect for a resort of that nature. Villamoura itself is beautiful and clean, although it appeared there had been a recent spate of graffitti vandals on the go. The restaurants that we ate in were adequate, although I would advise anyone wanting to eat out on a Saturday night, to pre-book as we were unable to find anywhere decent because they were all full. We availed ourselves of Jet-Ski rides and a boat trip up and down the coast, which iI would recommend to anyone. If anyone asks for a place of entertainment, Ruis Bar is a must!! - but not for the faint hearted, and certainly not if I'm singing Karaoke!! All in all, we all had a tremendous time and must say that taking everything into account, destination, golf, hotel and weather, we got tremendous value for money. Many, many thanks.

Golf Holiday at Monte Duquesa (Puerto de la Duquesa)
The 2 golf courses, at Estepona and Duquesa were very good, Estepona was a more hilly course with more "blind shots" definitely a course you need to get to know, Duquesa was a more complete complex excellent clubhouse excellent snack meals etc, seemed more organised than Estepona. Estepona course only 10 minutes in the car from apartment and as you know the Duquesa course was overlooked by the apartment. The apartment itself was only 5 minutes walk from the Duquesa marina which has some lovely restaurants and bars set beside the marina, a really nice atmosphere. Apartment was very good, fully equipped (tho we didnit manage to get the Satellite TV working) spacious, nice private garden area with easy access to the swimming pool area, a real sun trap, all in all we really enjoyed the holiday and would go back again. Many thanks.

Algarve Golf Holiday
Vilamoura was a great choice. It was fairly central in the Algarve and the marina was a very nice and convenient attraction. The hotel was very good and the service equaled it. Overall it was a very good choice. Of the 3 courses we played, the Vilamoura Old course was the best in terms of layout and conditioning. The biggest adjustment for us was trying to convert the meters to yards every shot. Had we thought about it before we left, I would have made a little table up (you may want to consider this little addition to your packages). Regardless, both of us played well and were in the 80s all three rounds. Quinta da Ria was also good, but the front nine was a bit boring, except for the views. The back was interesting and fun to play. It's conditioning was okay. Penina was marginal and we couldn't wait to finish. The conditioning was relatively poor, and although the layout was challenging, but when combined with the bumpy greens it was not enjoyable. Your directions for getting there need to be updated. We enjoyed Lisbon. We did a lot of walking and touring. We stayed the Le Meridien and got a very good rate of EUR110 per night off the internet. The hotel was outstanding and overlooked King Edward park. We toured the centre of the country and went to Evaro and then onto the Esparo winery where we tasted the wines and had a lovely (but bland) vintners dinner. Portugal is a beautiful country, very safe and clean. I was impressed with the amount of recycling in the hotels and the environmental sensitivity in general. We found the terrain very much like the Okanagan and the beaches were great. The only disappointment was the food. We ate in some very high end restaurants as well as the street cafes and it was consistently bland tasting. Overall it was a nice trip and the weather was great. Thanks for your assistance.

Marbella Golf Holiday
Absolutely brilliant again - with a great variety of golf courses nearby. Many thanks.

Golf on the Estoril Coast
Thank you, we had a lovely holiday!! The golf course at Belas was brilliant, although we found the buggy we'd hired as a 'last course luxury' was an absolute essential. We are both fit and had no problems pulling our hired trolleys on our first 2 courses (Quinta da Marinha and Quinta da Beloura), but the long, uphill walks from green to Tee at Belas would have defeated us!! This was our first golfing holiday abroad and I was very impressed that we were expected at each course and just had to hand over our vouchers in order to play. We were even able to change our Tee times at the first 2 courses, when we arrived early. I wouldn't want to play at Quinta da Beloura again, as it was rather flat and 'samey' on each hole, but in hindsight we should have expected that from the lower green fee. Having chosen the courses to suit our handicaps, we weren't asked for our handicap certificates. I'm working on 24 ( down to 27!!), so I can play at Penha Longa!! To summarise Belas, no. 1, Quinta da Marinha, no. 2 and Quinta da Beloura, wouldn't bother to play again!

Alicante Golf Holiday
The service which we received from Course Master was super efficient as always, even down to locating a home telephone number which I had given you 12 months previous, due to problems with my mobile. Payment was simple and the directions to and from the courses were invaluable.

Golf on Penina Championship Course
Excellent day at an excellent venue. Staff were friendly, locker room excellent and then on to the Golf. The course is in excellent shape and a guy playing on his own joined us for a three ball. We all enjoyed the round and finished it off with a nice cool drink. Absolutely no complaints, even enjoyed seeing the snakes! Thanks - we'll be back.

Golf on Lauro Golf Club
Many thanks. Lauro is an excellent 27 hole golf course. I would urge all your customers to attempt to play holes 10 thru 27 and miss the front nine, as it is a little scruffy on a couple of holes. I will definitely play there again on my next trip!!

Group's Golfing Weekend on Costa del Sol
As far as the golfing weekend is concerned, I can confirm that it was superb. The party of10 thoroughly enjoyed it - in particular the 2nd golf course (Monte Mayor), which we all believe to be the best course we have ever played (also the most difficult!!!) Hotels, cars etc. it all ran very smoothly. I will be passing your details onto our Marbella champion, who will be contacting you over the next few months to organise our trip for next year. Many thanks for all your help and advice - you made the whole weekend a pleasure to organise. Again - thank you.

Spectacular Courses at Vilamoura
Firstly and most importantly, my brother and I want to thank you for such a fantastically organised few days. Following our arrival at the airport we went to pick up our hire car and any lingering doubts about the vouchers that you gave us (well it's only natural after the stories that are banded around!) were put to rest as we drove away in a very nice Renault Clio. The [Vila Gale Marina] hotel was magnificent, right next to the Marina in Vilamoura, and the golf courses were spectacular and we had no trouble in getting on them. We were asked for a handicap certificate at Vilamoura Old course but not at Vilasol (either time). Again, thank you for your significant role in making our few days break so relaxing and well organised and we will certainly be going back next year. With this in mind, we will remember Course Master Golf Holidays the next time that we book a golfing break. Thanks once again to you all.

Golf Holiday
I would like to thank you and your team for one of the best weeks golf in a long time. From start to finish we could not find any faults, the only thing that went wrong was it went to fast. The transport excellent the [Don Miguel] hotel was excellent the golf [on Atalaya Golf Club] was out of this world. We would like to book with you for next year in Spain same time just a bit further down the coast as going back to the same place will never be as good. I await your suggestions and once again from all six of us a very big......... Thank you.

Golf on El Paraiso
Fantastic! Great! Wonderful! We played the course early in the morning (8.40) and the fairways were very wet (overnight watering I assume). Didn't spoil our enjoyment one bit. Thanks for all your help. We plan to go to Costa Brava/Costa Blanca next year, any thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.
- B Fry, Portslade, East Sussex, UK, June 2003

Golf on Salgados (Algarve)
We did enjoy the Salgados course, and the tee time arrangements you made worked perfectly. It is a course which punishes any wayward shot even those which land on the fairway, I have not seen so much water on a course before, my advice is simply to take lots and lots of balls.
- M James, Portishead, Somerset, UK, June 2003

Hole-in-One on La Quinta!
The holiday was wonderful. I would definitely recommend the Westin La Quinta. The rooms were very nice, the breakfast buffet was incredible and the golf course, though under construction, was great. What made it even better, my husband Ron, got his 1st (and most likely the only one in his lifetime) hole in one. This course will only allow golf carts on their cart paths and we had quite an adventure with a wild pig following us and the grounds crew chasing it with great fear. The other golf courses were challenging, the weather was much too hot but we would definitely do it again, maybe in Portugal. The only big surprise was the car. It was standard transmission and guess what? I don't know how to drive standard.

Two Rounds in the Algarve
Thank you for your help. Foolishly we turned up at Vale do Lobo 2 days early but the receptionist let us play. I liked Vale do Lobo Ocean but we were glad that we took a buggy. There are some long walks. I did not play Salgados. The players said that it was in excellent condition but "too flat and too much water".

Had a great stay. [Alhaurin] Hotel remains excellent.

Unlimited Golf in Algarve
I would like to say, we really enjoyed our holiday, everything was waiting for us when we got over there, from the start collecting our hire car and checking in at the [Delfim] hotel just couldn't have been easier! The room was lovely, the staff very pleasant, (the young lady on the golf desk in particular) and we found the [Carvoeiro] golf courses delightful. It can be little worrying when booking, as I did, on behalf of a friend, but in his words, everything was perfect, we could not fault it! (we also managed to get some very cheap flights......£32.00 each way with Monarch!) Thank you so much for your efforts on our behalf, we will be looking forward to our next trip!
- M Norton, Dorking, Surrey, UK, June 2003

Golf in the Western Algarve
Of the three courses that we played we have learnt that Parque da Floresta and Boavista on the west side of the Algarve, get very windy in the afternoons. Nothing worse than strong winds for golf, I'd prefer it raining. Thanks for your help in booking.
- P Grattage, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, UK, June 2003

Golf Group's Algarve Golf Holiday
Thought I would drop you a line & let you know that the golfing trip was really excellent. The hotel was 1st class & the golf courses could not be faulted. Even the weather was brilliant. All the lads who went were really impressed with everything & have already told me I am to organise next years trip. I will be checking your website for details of packages for next spring. In the meantime thanks very much for all your help & I look forward to doing business with you again next year.

Superb Golf and Weather in Vilamoura
Thanks for all the help. The trip was essentially hitch-less. We enjoyed the villas to the max (maid service was not great or very substantial, but they did take out the trash almost every weekday) and the golfing was really superb. The rental car pickup and return went easily and the nights we enjoyed most were the ones we barbecued at the villas and visited with our friends. If you had anything to do with the weather, we also commend you - the six cloudless days were just what we ordered. We have recommended your company to numerous other friends, so hopefully you'll be gettting lots of inquiries. Thanks again - you really helped make this vacation special.

Parador del Golf in Malaga
We had a wonderful time in Spain. We played Parador and the course was great. Thank you for all help. I will recommend Coursmaster to all my friends.

Tavira Golf Holiday
The holiday was great. All the arrangements were as communicated. The [Vila Gale Tavira] hotel was very good and the staff very attentive. The food in the hotel was good also. Tavira itself was lovely and had many nice restaurants........

Couple's Golf Holiday at Marbella
We enjoyed our golfing holiday very much. The [Guadalmina] hotel could not be faulted for service and accommodation, only one minor quibble, lack of variety in the terrace restaurant menu. We found the location of the hotel a bit restricting but this was because we chose not to have a hire car but walked or used taxis instead. Both the [Guadalmina] North and South courses are very well kept with excellent true greens, no excuses for missed putts here!! The South course is much more testing and busier than the North. Also this is Buggy land and they are not allowed on the fairways which meant a lot of twoing and froing across the fairway as some of a fourball hooked and others sliced. For a two ball like ourselves who play golf the old fashioned way (walking that is) it became very frustrating at times, particularly no one seemed to have heard of the play through etiquette. The course marshals appeared very forgiving and did not appear to enforce the rule on handicap certificates. A cynic would argue that revenue is the top priority. Fortunately we only had to suffer one 5 hour round. The rest were not too bad timewise. Overall we had a very nice break and your arrangements worked without a hitch. Both courses were very flexible over tee off times which suited us fine. We would certainly recommend you and are considering a golfing holiday Eastern Canada next May time so will probably be in touch. Thanks once again for your efforts on our behalf.

Thanks for putting such a useful site on the Web!

Vilamoura Holiday
I really enjoyed my holiday (as usual!) The rooms we had at the [Vila Gale Ampalius] hotel are excellent - all the junior suites facing the sea - a few in our group actually preferred this hotel to the Marinotel. Food was good, standard of cleaning good. The only small complaint I would have is the same as I thought last year with regards to the reception + some of the bar staff - they are so unfriendly. I am sure that their faces would crack if they smiled!!! Obviously I stay in a lot of hotels with my work, and these members of staff really let the hotel down - which is a shame as everything else like I say is great. So all in all - a fantastic time, my husband played lots of golf so he loves it! Thanks for all your help.
- Lauren Savery, Manchester, UK, May 2003

Golf at Vilamoura
Both [Vilamoura Millennium, Vila Sol] courses were excellent.

Golf Trip to Portugal (Tour photograph taken at Vilamoura Old Course)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of our party for an excellent and extremely well organised trip to Portugal. All elements of the trip i.e. hotel, golf and transport went ahead as planned and all contributed to the enjoyment of the event. The Golf courses were excellent in particular Vila Sol and the Old Course and the Vila Gale Marina was an ideal base for this type of holiday. This is the Fifth year we have travelled as group to play Golf and this by far was the best organised. This was our first trip with your company and I would not hesitate in requesting your assistance in future years. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to other parties and look forward to discussing our travel requirements with you next year.
- V Coyle, Lutterworth, Northamptonshire, May 2003

Golf at Miraflores
We had a great time once we had found it!! Everybody there was very friendly, there were no problems with the arrangements, the clubs and the buggy were waiting for us, and the course was very challenging. The only cautionary note that I would make is that you do need a buggy as the course is extremely hilly. According to the members though, it is one of the flattest in the area!! Many thanks.
- D Tarry, Worsley, Manchester, UK, May 2003

Golf at Malaga
Guadalhorce - strangely untypical course for Spain - 9 holes like English parkland, and 9 holes with American feel. Anoreta - typical Spanish course, short and tight. Both well worth another visit though.
- R Spencer, St Albans, Herts, UK, May 2003

Great Golf at Carvoeiro
We had a great time, the weather was great, the courses were superb, it was just the scoring that left a bit to be desired. If you are asked to book these two courses again you should have no qualms about doing so. Gramacho is a fair course with villa lined fairways some stunning views of the surrounding countryside, and the quickest greens I/we have ever played on. Walkable for the average fit person, taking the appropriate heat and liquid precautions. Pinta however is mountain goat country and buggies are definitely advised. Taking that into account the course again was in wonderful condition, with many very tight driving holes that are a strong test of your game and nerve. The one clubhouse serves both courses at the moment and has all the amenities you would expect from a top class complex, boasting a good restaurant, pro shop, swimming pool, bar facilities all of which are run by a host of enthusiastic and helpful staff. We left on Thursday vowing to return next year. Thank you on behalf of myself and the guys and be assured that if next year becomes a reality I will be in touch in good time to make full use of your services once again.
- N Kilgannon, Sittingbourne, Kent, UK, May 2003

Spanish Golf Holiday
We have now played in Spain for the last 2 years and we as a group of golfers with handicaps ranging from 6 to 14 . We prefer the golf courses west of Marbella i.e Valderamma, Almenara, Sotogrande, San Roque. They have less people on them as they are the most expensive but they are well maintained and in very good condition. Other courses are over played and rounds can take up to 6 hours e.g. Santa Maria. It just goes to show if you are prepared to pay you get the best. We will be going again in May 2004 so I will be in touch later in the year. We stayed at the Benabola Apartments in Puerto Banus with excellent accommodation. Have you got rates for these apartments?
- P Thornberry, Dubai, Emirates, May 2003

Algarve Golf Holiday
Thankyou for all the arrangements you made on our behalf, the Vila Gale Marina hotel, and all of the courses surpassed our expectations. We all had a tremendous golfing holiday,I would not hesitate recommending your company to any interested party.I am also impressed by your request for feedback this indicates that your company value their customers opinions.

Foursomes Annual Golf Holiday
Myself and my three golfing partners arrived back from our Alvor golfing holiday last week. I would just like to thank you for another well arranged trip. All the hotel\car\golf bookings went without a hitch and everything was to a high standard. You even managed to arrange good weather this year! No doubt I'll be in touch in a few months to arrange next years trip.
- P Strachan, Edinburgh, Scotland, May 2003

Penina Golf Holiday
All I can say is that my expectations were fulfilled... Marvelous golf course, well cared andÊcarpeted greens. The hotel was also very comfortable and with an excellent breakfast buffet. On a negative tone, one afternoon I asked the front desk to reserve a restaurant for that same night and when I was ready to go out to the restaurant from the hotel I found out that the reservation was not done (it was forgotten)... a bit of chaos was created and we ended up in an average restaurant. All in all, I was very pleased with the golf and the hotel. And as I said before I was delighted to deal with Course Master. I will certainly check you out again for a golf escape in a different country!... I am aiming at Ireland or Scotland!
- Iván Saldaña Varela, Spain, May 2003

Vilamoura Golf Holiday
We just wanted to say thank you very much for pre booking the golf in Portugal for us. Clarke really enjoyed it and the holiday was great. No doubt we will be using you again in the future.

Both courses [Miraflores and Cabopino] were excellent we were looked after brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed our games. Thank you for your excellent service.

Foursomes Tour of Portugal and Spain
We are just recovering the jet lag after returning from Spain and Portugal. All in all we had a very nice time. The accommodations, car rental and golf courses [Valderrama, Sotogrande, Alcaidesa, La Duquesa, Vila do Lobo, Vilamoura Old and Vilamoura Millennium] were all excellent. Golf courses were a challenge. Just a few critiques if we may on the accommodations. The units in Spain were just right for our needs. It was nice to have some meals in-house and to be able to visit with our friends in a home-like atmostphere. The downstairs unit had continual problems with electric circuits blowing. The directions to find the place were OK had we taken the correct exit off the freeway. But, we found it finally. The villa in Portual was fantastic. The pool was not used because it was a little cool at the time. All was well there, but the place lacked the basic cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc., so that we had to purchase for our needs. Also, the place was cold in the evenings and no heats, etc. were available. These are just small problems, but wanted to let you know. As far as driving, that seemed to be our biggest problem. Getting from place to place after a few days was OK. But we found that the highway signs and the map numbers did not correspond very well. So, therefore, we made lot of turn-arounds. Also had few laughs along the way after a while. It would have helped if you could have given us exit numbers off the freeways. Thanks for all you did for us. I have recommended you to several of our friends who would like to take a similar trip.

Frequent Visitor to Spain
The only thing I was going to tell you was that I have booked golf with you a couple of times and have been mightily impressed with your service. Although I won't ever require accomodation from you in the future (my parents live out there now), I will always book any golf with you. Once again, many thanks.
- P Whitaker, UK, April 2003

Group's Golfing Holiday in the Algarve
Many thanks for organising the holiday for us. It was excellent and I am sure that if the rates are kept around the same as what we paid this year we will be booking with you once again next year. Just to give you some feedback on the holiday, for when you advise others........ 1) The only part of the holiday that did not work, was the shuttle service on the first day (Monday at Vila Sol), we all had to arrange our own taxis there. 2) Quinta De Ria is the best conditioned course that any of us had ever played on - quite an open course, but we had never seen greens and fairways like it. 3) The Pinhal course is not in that great condition although it is still a very good course 4) Vila Sol, the course is excellent - and I wish we had played all 27 holes - but they are doing lots of building work around the outside of the course - so lots of GUR. 5) Old Course - best course we have ever played on - and that includes amongst others Belfry, Wentworth, Celtic Manor, St Mellion.......so that is saying something. Once again thanks a lot and we will be in touch towards the end of this year for next year.
- C Asher, Rainham, Kent, UK, April 2003

Group's Spanish Golf Holiday
I have been meaning to pass on my grateful thanks for your organisation of the trip, but the return to work has been too much! My apologies for not getting back to you as we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The bus company was excellent, being on time every day except 1 when they were some 15 minutes late, but we had plenty of time that day any way. The [Benabola] apartments could not have been any better or the reception/cleaning staff more helpful. The golf courses were very good, with the exception of Mijas. A bit 'scruffy' with the marshalls a bit officious. I would suggest you do not send parties there in future. Once again many thanks for your help and if we go back next year, I am sure I will be in touch.
- K Sutton, Glamorgan, UK, April 2003

Vilamoura Golf Break
Everything was fine with the holiday, hotel, car & golf - except the weather wasn't so great but it didn't spoil our holiday. We will definitely contact you again if we are thinking of booking a further golf holiday. Do you do anything here in the UK?
- M Brimacombe, Maresfield, East Sussex, UK, April 2003

A Week's Golf at Vilamoura
Very good holiday, excellent accommodation with the Vila Gale Marina. Very good golf. Anyway thanks for every thing and keep in touch we will be going again same time next year if not before.
- B Geddes, Lancs, UK, April 2003

Golf Group's Annual Holiday to Vilamoura
Once again we had a good trip. The car service is okay but the drop off point at the return journey is a long way from the airport. That needs to be sorted. The [Vila Gale Marina] hotel is first class. The golf has been fine on both our visits however it is getting extremely busy at some courses. That accompanied by the fact that it is clear that the 28 handicap and below rule is frequently abused by tour groups......hence slow play. We intend to review the tour next year and may seek alternative destinations.
- L Evans, Plymouth, Devon, UK, April 2003

Family Golf Holiday at Tenerife
Thanks for the arrangements all went well, and it was a great time we all had.Golfers and non-golfers alike. The [Mediterranean Palace] Hotel was superb, lovely public areas and evening entertainments, food restaurants to choose from and sports facilities, kids clubs and swimming all up to scratch. The suite had great views of the sea, and a private plunge pool. We enjoyed the golf best at Playas de Las Americas (better course design and well maintained etc). Golf del Sur was fine too but would not choose to return to Adeje (too short and strange layout) or Amarilla (in need of updating) again. Your service we will certainly reconsider using again. Many thanks.
- E Milne, Aberdeen, UK, April 2003

Marbella Golf Holiday
My wife and I would just like to thank you for a great holiday, we stayed at the Hotel Don Miguel, Marbella in Spain. You arranged the hotel transfers and golf all of which were excellent. We have no objections to your company using us as a reference since the service you provided was the best.
- Mr and Mrs R Kirk, Pumpherston, West Lothian, Scotland, April 2003

Golf at Lauro Golf Club, Costa del Sol
[Lauro] Golf course was wonderful!! We have limited experience of golf courses because my husband has only just started playing. Some holes were spectacular. However some golfers were complaining that some of the holes were a bit 'sammy' and ran parallel to each other - but you can't please everyone. I thought it was expensive - but it was the cheapest in the area!!!!!
- V Barfoot, Dunstable, Beds, UK, April 2003

Golf at Penina
I would just like to thank your company, for a brilliant service. You were really helpful, because we had to try and book the round at such short notice and you were so quick in getting back to us and trying to help us. The Penina course was beautiful, everything you would expect from a championship course, the only thing is that you had employees in golf buggies, hurrying you along on the course, despite not holding anybody up behind us. But apart from this it was a great day of golf!! Again many thanks!
- T Cooke, UK, April 2003

Costa del Sol Golf Holiday
All went well, good courses, good weather, good food, shame about the golf, but you can't have it all. Directions for Marbella Golf and Country Club could do with tweeking, but we got there in the end and they were okay with us being a few minutes late. Monte Mayor was an experience, but a bit difficult for the high handicappers and undergoing a renovation, therefore only limited clubhouse facilities, therefore had a meal at Marbella Golf down the hill, which was excellent if a bit pricey. Probably will be looking to do something in October / November, so please keep us aware of any special deals for Spain or Portugal.
- I Duncan, Stayley Bridge, Cheshire, UK , April 2003

A Week's Golf in Vilamoura
Just to say thank you for everything. The [Vila Galé Marina] hotel and the golf were perfect.
- J Palmer, Mapperly, Nottingham, UK, March 2003

Golf Holiday in Algarve, Portugal
We had a good time as of last year. The [Vila Galé Golfe] hotel was fine apart from not really catering for the early rising golfer. There was also a 7 euro per visit charge for the indoor pool and jacuzzi, which if used was a bit of an add on. Apart from this the holiday was fine. We will most probably be going next year. Many thanks for the excellent organisation as usual.
- W Cubillo, Crossgar, Co Down, N Ireland, March 2003

A Fortnight's Golf in Vilamoura
Well, the answer is that it was wonderful, and very lucky indeed. We arrived in windy weather and talking to the holidaymakers who had already been there a week. they were fed up and wanting to go home. The winds and rain had not made it not fit to go out. What happens, we had 10 days of clear blue skies and followed by overcast weather, no rain to speak of. It was not too hot for golf and nice enough to sit in it. The hotel and rooms were ideal. A shuttle service to and from the golf courses was excellent. We only used our hire car once, we could walk out to anywhere at night. But [we] needed the car on the second week as we were relaxing and sightseeing and our friends had gone home. Compared with last year at Gale 200% better. Thanks once again.
- B Stott, Scotforth, Lancaster, UK, March 2003

Algarve Golf Holiday
On the whole it was excellent. All of the party agreed it was very well organised and good value for money (all have asked for your details and some may contact you to arrange other events. Thank you for your help and I will be in contact when I am organising the next trip.
- N Cruickshank, Bristol, UK, March 2003

Costa del Sol Golf Holiday
Great holiday. Everything went to plan. The [Atalaya] Old course was fabulous. The New course was okay, but difficult in that if you strayed off the edge of the fairway, you lost a ball. Wouldn't hesitate to play the Old course again but would probably give the New course a miss. We saw a lot of other courses over there whilst traveling around which looked great. Starting to make plans for next year. Thanks a lot.
- D Hughes, Hyde, Cheshire, UK, March 2003

Great Courses in Costa del Sol
They [Marbella, Los Naranjos, Monte Mayor, Flamingos] were all great courses, challenging and fun. They are great for experienced golfers as there are many tough shots that a novice wouldn't enjoy. Thanks for your help.
- B Colterman, Greely, Ontario, Canada, March 2003

Unlimited Golf in Algarve
The [Dom Joáo II] Hotel was good The age group at the time of me going was around 50-60. I am aged 31. The Service was good. Car hire was good. The courses were good and the unlimited package [on Carvoeiro Golf Club] was well worth it. If next year the package is available I will definitely book again.
- R Thapar, UK, March 2003

Marbella Golf Holiday
The [Don Miguel] hotel facilities were excellent along with the food and room service. Unfortunately the weather was a bit 'iffy' with torrential - and I mean torrential- rain for a couple of days causing the Old course on Atalaya to be closed for 4 days..... Apart from this the holiday was a great success ( I won ;-) and there would be no hesitation in recommending the hotel or Golf courses to others. Regards and best wishes.
- J Wray, Nelson, Lancs, UK, March 2003

Alvor Golf Holiday
Our golf holiday was super, we all enjoyed it very much. We found both the [Delfim] hotel and [Carvoeiro] golf courses to be of a very high standard and we look forward to booking with you again in the future. Thank you once again for all your help.
- J Moreland, Germany, March 2003

Albufeira Golf Holiday
The holiday was great thank you. The hotel was excellent & all the golf courses were superb. We were well impressed with Course Masters & we are planning another holiday next year. Once again many thanks.

Golf Holiday to Islantilla (Huelva) Spain
Again arrangements excellent. Easy Jet flights on time to and from Bristol to Faro, Car Hire colllection really excellent, Faro Airport is the best in Spain and Portugal for convenience and efficiency for car hire. Hotel location and facilities very good, the only criticism was that the breakfast and evening buffet was usually luke warm never hot. We played 4 courses;- ISLANTILLA 27 holes behind hotel, superb course in excellent condition. Very impressive club house. ISLA CANILLA about 30 minutes drive at ISLA CRISTINA, a flat uninteresting course that just went up and down, the worse course we played. BELLAVISTA also called LA DEHESA on some sign posts, excellent course which was the least busy, but the club house was in need of updating and the bar restaurant area shabby, the service was almost non existent, this really let the place down, it was about 45 minutes from hotel. DONANA is about 1 1/2 hours from the hotel, excellent challenging course, worth the journey, superb club house, however it is very dificult to find. When you get to the resort it is very very difficult to find the course through a very large residential area. Be warned the car parking outside the club is almost non existent due to building work and you may have to park some distance from the club. We had a thoroughly enjoyable 5 days and had perfect weather. We will be booking with you again, I have recommended you to friends. Best Wishes.
A Trevarthen, Exeter, Devon, UK, March 2003

Costa del Sol Golf Holiday
We had a great time and were extremely pleased with how well the arrangements went off. There were no problems with tee times and the car hire went very smoothly. The courses were beautiful. The way we chose the courses was by looking on the net and viewing the pictures of the courses. With hindsight we would have chosen different courses as they are all very nice so we would have chosen courses that were nearer to our resort. We found that we were driving past many of the courses that you had mentioned to get to Estepona and La Duquesa. Although you had given travel times to the courses that you gave us a choice of, it is hard to relate this to when you are actually driving in Spain, especially when you are taking wrong turns etc.....we were more than happy with your service and I will certainly be in touch if and when I have another golf holiday to plan.
- P Millard, UK, March 2003

Group's Golf Holiday in Marrakech
It is a great pleasure for me to let you know that we enjoyed our golf holiday in Marrakech tremendously. Every arrangement with the [Le Meridien N'Fis]hotel and the golf courses worked out perfectly. We were also blessed with wonderful weather and could benefit from the fact that the place was not exactly crowded with other tourists. The [Royal Marrakech and Amelkis] golf courses were in fine condition and our team was divided in its preferences. Personally I tended to prefer the Amelkis as being more varied. I should add that the ladies in the team although none of them had played since September last year on the average scored far better than last season and had their handicaps lowered accordingly. The men's scoring was more modest but still acceptable. All in all everybody thought the holiday was a great success and were impressed by the way you had made all arrangements. Which, of course, was a relief for me as being the initiator and organiser of the trip. This means that whenever the question of a golf holiday somewhere in the world arises I will not hesitate to check with you if you have something to offer.

We had a very good holiday, all the arrangements were first class. The [Dom Joáo II] hotel gave us very good service, and we got all the golf we wanted. We played every day. Thank you very much.

All-Inclusive Holiday in Marbella
The holiday was very good, the [Don Miguel] hotel although not a pretty building it was clean, centrally located, the staff were very efficient and helpful. The all inclusive package with car hire was very good value. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to other glofer's and non golfers. This is the second time I have used your services..... I thought the way you dealt with the refund for my friend was very swift and also very efficent. Thank you for your services and please keep me informed when the prices are available the 2nd festival of golf in Nov 2003.

Everything went well, we had a really enjoyable trip. The golf [at Atalaya Golf Club] and the [Don Miguel] hotel were excellent, thanks for your help.

Golf Trip to Portugal
Overall, the trip was "very good" to "excellent" but I would note the following: * Staying in first class accommodations, anywhere around the world, is expensive; Portugal is no exception - even in the off-season. Everything is priced in Euros (a bit more than a US dollar). * Le Meriden Dona Filipa is situated in the very posh Vale do Lobo region of the Algarve, right on the Atlantic, and this region is very isolated from the real Portugal - you really have to go out of the area to restaurants and shops to meet real Portuguese. The hotel is older but very comfortable and the staff very accommodating. The beaches are gorgeous. * The golf was terrific at all the courses we played (San Lorenzo, Quinta do Lago, Vila Sol, Villemoura (Old Course), Vale do Lobo (Royal Course - by the ocean), but San Lorenzo was clearly the best. Everybody we met at Dona Filipa said the same thing. None of the courses was particularly busy in the middle of February. * The food was terrific once we got out of the Vale do Lobo region. * Le Meridien Penina (western Algarve) was excellent but really in the middle of nowhere. The golf was very good at the Championship Course. Lovely room, great restaurant. * Lisbon was wonderful (but a bit run down) and the Tivoli Lisboa was excellent. This hotel was very centrally located - great for wandering around, running, visiting museums, etc. The dinner at the Lapa Palace was magical - one of the finest meals I've ever had anywhere. In summer it must be even better. * It is definitely worth going to a "Fado" restaurant. Fado is the unique "soul" music (it has its origins in the slave trade) found only in Lisbon. * I would not fly a U.S. carrier again to Europe since you always have to go through a U.S. port of entry. Travelling anywhere in the U.S. is truly horrible these days. * Lisbon airport was excellent but again, having to fly a U.S. carrier, the security is time-consuming and borders on paranoia. * The highway from Lisbon to the Algarve is outstanding but the highways in the Algarve are treacherous. * Rental cars (at least luxury) are very, very expensive. * The weather was "typical" for that time of year - it rained 3 out of 9 days, temperatures in the 50s during the day (great for golf) but cooler at night. * I would definitely go back to Portugal to play golf but probably stay away from the Vale do Lobo region. I still would have to say I enjoyed the Costa del Sol in Spain a bit more (the terrific San Roque resort), particularly when coupled with a stay in Madrid. Thank you once again for your patience in organizing the trip. Regards.

Vilamoura Golf Holiday
We had an absolutely marvellous holiday. The travel arrangements worked out smoothly and the [ Vila Gale Ampalius] hotel was excellent. There really was a sea view!! The golf courses were excellent and we particularly enjoyed playing on Laguna. On 2 occasions we were paired up but this gave us the opportunity to meet some very nice people. The weather was a bit wet the first two days but perfect thereafter. Having a car gave us great freedom and on our golf-free days we travelled inland to the hills where we got an idea of the unspoiled Algarve. Thank you gain for your excellent suggestions and organisation. We are seriously thinking of repeating the experience this time next year.

Golf Holiday in Benalmadena, Spain
There is only one thing to say, this was a perfect holiday. You had even managed to change the weather to sunny prior to our arrival! We will definitely use your company the next time we're going on similar holidays. The car was ready and waiting for us (one minor comment: we arrived at Terminal one, the rental car company did not have an open office there. We therefore had to bring our luggage to terminal 2.) The hotel was nice, with a charming restaurant and actually the apartment was larger than expected. Perhaps we got something larger than we booked? (The beds were a little short, actually shorter than me. 180 vs 185 cm.) I slept well anyway. The golf courses were in good conditions and we were well received all the times. Shortly; we enjoyed ourselves!

Vilamoura Break for 9 Golfers
Excellent holiday everything ran like clockwork. The [Vila Gale Ampalius] hotel was excellent and the two [Vilas Sol and Laguna] golf courses were of a high standard although at Vilasol on holes 10 - 27 there is a lot of building work on the course so can be quite noisy. Thanks for your help and excellent services and hope to book the same trip next year.

Everything about the holiday was first class. Lost one and a half days golf due to weather conditions but apart from that it was absolutely superb. Would not hesitate to do business with you again. Many thanks for everything.

Golf Break in Spain
Very impressed, everyone had a great time. Hotel [Atalaya Park] was excellent and all 4 of us are thinking of going back with our families as the range of facilities was far more than we have seen on previous holidays. The food was well prepared and presented and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The location must be one of the best on the Costa del Sol with three good towns on the doorstep for evenings out (Marbella, Peurto Banus & Estepona) and easy access from the motorway although we did have slight problems finding the junction down to the hotel as the cross over on the slip road must be the strangest junction I've ever come across and I would recommend you forward a detailed map of that area to people before they travel, which the Hotel supply. The golf was well organised and the courses were superb, but a little too challenging for my level of golf, so needless to say I didn't win but lost loads of balls.

Golf Festival
The holiday was a great success. Golf was good but very slow, weather fantastic and the car hire very easy to find and good roads from the airport. We will be booking again but somewhere different (Spain or Portugal). Any extra special offers your company have, let us know, we would be interested.

Vilamoura Golf Holiday
Back from the Algarve and many thanks as it went without a hitch, well besides the golf!!!!... everything was organised and went smoothly. golf courses were great ( favourite was the Old but it beat us up) and the Millennium went well as they let us play the back 9 first and we had no one on the course in front of us where as previous days it was very busy, apart from that , great and thank you and we'll be in touch later in the year to do it all again.

Wonderful Golf Holiday
Thank you for the wonderful golf holiday. The Don Miguel [Hotel] golf week holiday was fabulous. The accommodations, food, and golf were beyond our expectations. The staff was courteous, helpful, and lots of fun. This package was an outstanding value. We have recommended it to many of our friends, and plan on visiting the Don Miguel again.

All-Inclusive, Don Miguel, Marbella
All four of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was first class and the inclusive tarrif worked wonderfully well. The golf was great and the weather warm and mostly sunny. Our thanks to you for arranging it all and we shall certainly do something with you in the coming year---possibly the Algarve. Let us know of any similar bargains for late autumn or early next year.
