A Few Comments from our Clients - 2007

Thanks for arranging everything at Calanova. We all enjoyed the golf course and we found the staff very helpful. We shall take great pleasure in telling everyone about this hidden gem. We shall also tell all our friends to use Course Master Golf Holidays for all their future needs.
Kindest regards Ray Moore, Ireland, October 2007

Thank you very much for your first class service, we all enjoyed our break. You asked for comments on the courses: Here goes with scores out of 10.
Cabopino, On the whole very good, most of the course was in first class condition although some of the greens were poor with large bare patches. The people were very welcoming and pleased to see us. 7/10
Santa Clara
, This was by far and away the best of the courses we played, although the hole is 1 of 4 holes that run in parallel (holes 1,9,10 & 18) once away from here it was great, the greens were virtually perfect and the fairways were in great shape, the service and the staff from the club house to the starter were friendly and welcoming even down to complementary cool bottles of water on the buggy, A lovely course to play. 10/10
Rio Real This was a different experience, the staff made us feel as they did not really want us there, they were bordering on being rude at times apart from the staff in the bar who were nice, the buggy's were old and in poor condition, the one my partner and me had was the worst I have ever used, it had bald tyres on the front and was very difficult to steer and the brakes were very poor, it had been raining on that morning but the buggy's had not been wiped down so the seats were soaked although it had not rained for over an hour before we played and at 82 euros for the 2 buggy's was a complete rip off, when we tried to talk to the buggy attendant he did not or did not want to understand, we will not be going back there again. Although the course was in good nick the above spoilt the day. 1/10
Mijas
Once again a very welcoming club, nice people and a very picturess difficult coarse but fun to play, this was by far and away the most busy course with several coach loads playing and a 5 hour round but with the scenery it didn't really matter. 7/10 thanks once again
John Saywell, UK, October 2007

Thanks again for all your trouble, your service is unsurpassed, that's why we keep coming back. All the best .
Stuart Clayton, Glasgow, November 2007

Aphrodite Hills was a pleasure to play, beautiful course if not a little rushed by over zeleous course marshalls. A definite must play again! Secret Valley however, whilst it had the potential to be a fantastic course, was a big dissapointment. Extremely slow round, seemed like they'd let any old hacker on with no record of handicap certs and the worst greens I have ever played on abroad. Basically I wouldn't go back! Thank you for arranging a trouble free tee time and I am please to say I was the Cyprus Golf Champion!
Thanks Paul Brittan, October 2007

Parque da Floresta Resort
Everything went very well and you even organised the weather! Transfers were on time , Golf was great and so was the villa which was in a good position. The whole resort was very welcoming and we all had a really good time. Thanks for your help once again. We will be looking to go away in April or May next year for the annual boys golf tour so if you can suggest any where for us to try that is offerring a good deal please drop me a line.
Best regards Malcolm Wright, October 2007

Mosa was a big disappointment. We were curious why we didn't see many other players but soon realised why. The course is far too tough for the average player and would be a challenge to many single figure handicappers. The Stones 9 hole course in particular was ridiculous. You only had to be a few yards off line and your ball would be lost among thousands of rocks lining the fairway. The course maintenance was not of a high standard either - in particular the greens were slow and the holes were not cut cleanly. In stark contrast Roda was absolutely brilliant and quite busy too. I would love to play there again. Will be in touch whenever our next holiday arrives. Many thanks for your efficient service.
Regards John Price, East Yorkshire, October 2007

We are home and had beautiful weather. D'Aro knocked us off our feet. It was great. Platja Pals was nice. Emporda and PGA Catalunya were first class. Again, if I had it to do again, we would have stayed near D'Aro for an easier commute. About 4 of the courses were 1 1/4 hours drive each way and many guys did not like that. Thanks for all your help. We may do it again next year.
Ron Smith, East Peterburgh, October 2007

The golf courses were great - top four would be Boavista, Castro Marim, Quinta de Cima and Quinta de Ria - Palmares was a bit scruffy and when we got off the course at 7:00pm they allowed us to have only one drink and then shut the clubhouse - not a welcoming course, and they were the only course over the two weeks where the buggies you had reserved for us were not available - we had to put our tee time back until one was available. Wouldn't go back there. Other than that a great success and many thanks for all your efforts. No doubt we will be back in touch soon.

Sheraton Parco de' Medici
Thanks a million for the arrangements. We found the hotel, service, the golf course and basically everything just fine. And especially bearing in mind that the package deal was very affordable => Very good value for the money!! The things that really exceeded my expectations were: + location (close to Rome city center and the airport) + free shuttle service to Rome + breakfast + golf course lay out (the condition was not the best, had been raining a lot) + friendly service I'm afraid I'm not able to give you any major negative comments on the trip. Perhaps the prices on the restautants were a bit on a high side. Also there were some people playing very slowly on the course and nobody to control that. But that's the way it usually is. I'll be happy to recommend your services to my friends. Thanks again and greetings from rainy ( +1 C) Finland.
Topi Tiitola, Finland, November 2007

Vila Gale Ampalius
Everything went fine. The only minor complaints were that the courtesy bus from the hotel to the golf courses was sometimes a bit un-reliable, ie you sometimes had to wait quite a while. Also the time to complete the rounds was typically 5.5hrs, the courses could have done with fewer golfers on them, or rangers being more diligent in sorting slow play. All in all very enjoyable...This year's loser has to organise next year (not me) so I've passed-on all the details of your company as a starter for him :-) Jim Pearson, Scotland, September 2007

Have just arrived back from our holiday and would just like to say that all our golf went without a problem and to thank you all for your help in sorting it all out in such a short time scale. I have already given your name to 1 couple we met at the airport and will have no hesitation in giving it to anyone else who wants tee-times etc. You never know we may use you for a complete package next time.
Regards Malcolm Holt, UK, July 2007

This was the second time, I've played Palmares, both times booked through you, and I might add, you & your team are very professional and answered any queries promptly . The course was lovely, and we would recommend anyone playing golf in the area to play this one .
Regards Graham Coombes, UK, June 2007

First Class Service! The highlght was playing at El Chaparral Golf Course. We were made very welcome, friendly staff, course information etc. And THE GREENS, well, I can honestly say, being a 4 handicap golfer, I have never played on such good greens . Well done. Once again, thank you for your services. I will certainly recommend you and will use you again when next in Spain.
Phil Halford, Warwick, June 2007

Rio Real is a really great course and a lovely location; in the real golf season it has become rather expensive versus other courses in the area although it is an excellent venue.
Regards - Roy Martinez, Belgium, June 2007

Monte da Quinta
Just thought we would let you know that we had a wonderful time in Portugal. The accommodation at the Monte Quinta Club was first class and the staff there were exceptionally nice and helpful. The house has everything we wanted and more. The girls really enjoyed having the pool in the back garden. Stuart really enjoyed his two rounds of golf especially the round at Pinherios dos Altos. We would definitely like to return there in the future. So thank you for recommending such a brill holiday for us. Probably the next time we would go for two weeks. We will definitely be recommending your company to our family and friends and we would be grateful if you would let us know of any special offers you may have in the future. Thanks again.
Stuart and Karen McLeod, Banffshire, July 2007

Olympus Sun Club
Just a quick word to say thank you very much for all your help in organising our golf trip to Vilamoura. Everything went like clockwork, the transfers were always on time and the hotel was just what we were after in a great location. We were all hugely impressed with the golf courses too (Victoria, Pinhal, Millennium, Old course) - it was great they were all so close by - and overall everyone had a great time. We are even talking about returning in the near future!
Many thanks, Chris Cairns, UK, July 2007

Very good course. Great holiday golf with no delays.
Robert Barnes, Norfolk, May 2007

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and the courses were excellent. The old course at villamoura was by far the best with Vila sol quite poor in comparison. Everything went well with the organisation, thankyou.
Regards....Doug Thompson, Derbyshire, July 2007

As usual everything went very well the courses (Lauro, Mijas Los Olivos, Torrequebrada) we played were in very good condition and the staff very helpful and courteous all arrangements went as planed we had a wonderful time there was only one slight problem and that is to do with maps and directions which I feel could be better but we found the courses and really enjoyed them
Kind regards Eddie Taylor, West Glamorgan, September 2007

Thank you for the arrangements, they were impeccable. We had an excellent holiday; already looking forward to next year.
Thank you Keith Scott, Glouchestershire, September 2007

La Cala Golf Resort
We had a fantastic time the Hotel was ideal and comfortable We also enjoyed the courses as they were quite challenging our only small critisism being that some of the greens were poor but maybe to be expected with play it gets, otherwise i would rate the complex as one of the best in andalusia. Overall we had a very enjoyable time Thankyou
James Price, Leicestershire, September 2007

Just to let you know that we had a great time in Magaluf. The golf was great and the car hire went smoothly. I will certainly bare you in mind for future golf holidays. You did a great job with the all the problems I gave you. Thanks again
Chris Moore, Springfield Electrics Golf Society, Middlesex, September 2007

Vila Gale Amplius
We had a great holiday in Portugal, everything went well as usual and the weather was great, not too hot. We hope to go back about the same time next year, but I think the golfers will want a change of courses as they have played the same ones for a few years now.
Thanks again Pat Patton, Northern Ireland, September 2007

I have nothing but positive comments. Rio Real was, as usual, well presented. Santana is in my opinion one of the best in that part of the Costa del Sol, it'll be even better if/when they get the go ahead to develop the clubhouse. And La Cala, although there are works going on and one of the par fours was shortened, is always a test of golf. Many thanks,
Andy Fairbairn, West Yorkshire, September 2007

NH Sotogrande Hotel
Just to leave you know we have returned from our trip to South of Spain and would like to thank you for organising same for us, we have a fabulous time as usual. We will be in touch again to organise another trip early next year. Many thanks,
Margaret & Tom Ahern, Ireland, September 2007

Vila Gale Marina
We have had a wonderful vaccation in Portugal and I have nothing to react negativily on anything. This was the second year we made this trip and we have already decided to make the same trip next year at the same time. I will get back to you in the beginning of next year to book everything. We are very happy with everything you have made for us and do hope that we can talk again in the beginning of next year. You can contact me next year when you find it okej to book a week trip to algarve! The hotel was perfect and had very good service. Jardim is very easy and good to rent fron, no problem. And the courses (Vale do Lobo Ocean, Vae do Lobo Royal, Quinta do Lago South, San Lorenzo) are very nice, very nice. If you know other courses that is very nice in the vicinity of Villamoura we would like to know about this.
Best Regards Peter Wolff, Sweden, October 2007

Marbella Playa Hotel
Brilliant : thanks Hotel very good we just didn’t take full advantage of the “all inclusive” Some Irish Bar in Marbella had a lot of our cash when we watched the rugby games on the Friday and Saturday Golf courses (Marbella, La Quinta, Los Narnjos) excellent (our golf game not so good) Transport very good Seriously the tour was excellent, no one had any complaints and we are looking forward to next year’s trip: so thanks for all your help with the arrangements.
Best Regards Gerry Mazzeo, UK, October 2007

Hotel dei Consoli
Top-line, we did enjoy ourselves...however... The Hotel dei Consoli is in Frattochie (about 12 miles outside Rome but a municipality of Rome)... I found that out before we arrived. There are TWO "dei Consoli" hotels (one is in Vatican City). ***, very clean, modest service, limited food and beverages but a nice young staff (one person on duty at a time). The Castle Gondolfo GC is very modest, pull carts only and OLD rental clubs - NOT Callaway or any know brand...service was minimal and they were not really friendly. Rental was 60E. Conditions was below expectations *1/2 - ** at best. I would NOT play there again. The Acquasanta was the nicer of the two courses...inside the ring road of Rome. The reantals were also poor...NOT Callaway or a known brand - actually we each did have one 10+ year old Callaway club! Also, pull carts or electric pull carts. Rentals was 90E. They were more friendly and we had lunch there too. OK conditions...** 1/2 to *** rating. I would consider playing there again if no other options. I had to rearrange the car rental because the office I was to pick it up was closing early and was far from our existing location... I picked up at the train station but it took almost an hour for paper work...they were nice. All vouchers were honored and in order. You should note these comments for your database. Thank you for the followup opportunity.

Vila Gale Marina Hotel, Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal
Had a really good holiday and all our group thoroughly enjoyed it. Transfers worked really well - guys were there on time and no hassle. Courses were as follows: Quinta De Lago ( South ) - excellent Millennium - good condition except for 6th and 7th greens which are very poor (diseased or something ). They appear to have messed up on start times or overbooked or something because had a good half hr wait for T time , and round was painfully slow - 5.5 hrs. Waiting at practically every T box. Down to poor course rangering I feel. Just about finished in daylight. Pinhal - again in very good condition, were 4 groups behind starting and lots of waiting, but not as bad as Millennium. Laguna - very good condition and pretty much on time so no complaints there. Shuttles etc were fine. Hotel was very good again. Food was good (although didn't eat there at night ) and can't complain. One comment I will make is about their choice of evening entertainment - its brutal ( maybe just my taste ) , but only really bothered us while having a drink or two before heading out for dinner. So all in all excellent trip once again and many thanks for all your help. I imagine we will go again next year at some stage and will certainly be in contact if so.

Golf Apartment Beach and Golf Resort, Platja Pals, Costa Brava, Spain
To start when we arrived late evening 22.30 at Gerona airport, the car was waiting for us....absolutely perfect! No problems finding our way out to the coast around 45 min. Arriving at the apt. we were well taken care of, and got exactly what I asked for ...top floor apt. overlooking the sea!! Very nice apt. maybe a little bit under the standard ( a bit used up ) in Algarve, but of course this was as well a bit cheeper. Fantastic tearace!! The golf was absolutely fantastic...Emporda was an outstanding course!! A five star course!! very good! Surroundings in Platja De Pals was very nice...lots of pine trees...fantastic beach..long & wide! We will be back soon again ( beginning of 2008 ) and travel with Corse Master again... YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!! Thanks again .... Take care...

Costa del Sol Golf
The holiday was very good & the Golf was superb. Thank you for arranging everything. Although the Rio Real course was ok, we placed Los Naranjos at number 1, with La Quinta a close second. The staff at all 3 courses were very friendly and the restaurants were very good. Very impressed with the Sat Nav. on the Golf Buggies. Thanks again
Regards Keith Rhead, Lancashire, September 2007

Barcelo Marbella Hotel, Costa del Sol, Spain
First of all can I thank you both for the speed and professionalism in organising our holiday we had a great time especially the fantastic golf courses (El Paraiso, Flamigo Rosa, La Quinta). On that note can I add that the courses are magnificent and at each course we visited we were met with very friendly and helpful people. On the hotel front, it most certainly is not a 4 star rated hotel. The room my wife and I occupied had a roof leak which I reported numerous times starting on the Saturday and ended up with me complaining bitterly to the manager who upgraded us to a room for the last night. Additionally there were hardly any staff around the hotel, no waiters for drinks or refreshments particularly around the pool. Hope I have not gone on a bit, but aside from that the holiday was most enjoyable in a lovely part of Spain. Once again very grateful thanks for organising and we will use your Company again.
Kind regards, Alan Stray, UK, September 2007

Sidi Saler Hotel, El Saler, Valencia, Spain
The golf holiday was a great success. Feedback I can provide -
Hotel - nice enough hotel but not the nicest of areas - there is not much going in locally so it is either the hotel or heading into Valencia - the courtesy bus was great but we couldn't get our full group on a once or twice due to large numbers wanting to use the service.
Car Rental - cars were fine. However, we had to queue for over an hour to get the keys on arrival and then there is the hidden cost whereby you pay for the full tank of petrol over and above the price quoted in the booking.
Courses - El Bosque - just as I remembered it from 15 years ago and was a treat to play it again. Naturally, for the time of year, the course was a bit "tired" after a full summer's use. Greens were in pretty good condition, though. El Saler - great golf course. Club house etc still being refurbished so temporary buildings being used. Not a big problem. Pro-shop etc all very helpful. Greens were really suffering from over use and were quite disappointing in terms of condition - we had to play to two temp greens on the last day.
Regards Bobby Peacock, Kent, September 2007

Olympus Sun Club, Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal
The golf holiday to Vilamoura was very enjoyable. Olympus Sun Club hotel provided everything we needed, the staff were courteous and helpful, the facilities and location were ideal. Transfers to/from airport and to/from golf courses were very good. Punctual and efficient. Golf courses were again good, although that was not shown in our scores. ( More due to the marina nightlife than the course!!) In short everyone enjoyed the holiday provided by Course Master. Thank you for your efficient administration of the holiday. If we were to go again next October, how far in advance do we need to book to get mid morning tee times on the golf courses?
best wishes, Phil Green, Neath, October 2007

Algarve Golf
We thoroughly enjoyed both Boavista and Palmares. There was a bit of building work encroaching on the Boavista course but that won't last for ever and certainly won't stop me going back. Boavista clubhouse, restaurant and other facilities are absolutely top class. Palmares was very busy and consequently a bit slow but nevertheless it is a great course with several contrasting types of links/parkland golf.Great views! All the arrangements you made for us were excellent and we will certainly come to you again when we plan our next golf trip abroad.
Many thanks, Mike Horan, Lancashire, September 2007

Algardia Marina Apartments, Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal
Over all we had a great time and the boys are all talking about going again next year. We had a few hiccups though. We were put into a separate apartment block away from the main building and it was not up to standard. We asked for a move to the main block and they did it without any fuss.It was thunder and lightening when we arrived at Quinta da Ria and they closed the course. We have been given vouchers valid for a year so we hope to use them next year. Apart from those two things we had a great time ( oh apart from a 19 handicap playing like Tiger Woods and winning all the dough) ( that's just sour grapes because it wasn't me). Thanks for organising everything. I wish you and all the team a happy new year and I will contact you to arrange our next outing.
Regards, Nick Jones, South York, September 2007

Olympus Sun Club, Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal
I thought I would drop you and your colleagues a line to thank you all for your help in organising a very nice holiday. Everyone enjoyed the golf (Pinhal, Laguna, Millennium), and the timetable ran very smoothly. From picking up at the airport, through travelling to the golf courses and final return to the airport. The apartments at the Olympus were very spacious and clean, breakfast could have been a little warmer. The only adverse comment was that under the hotel was a lap-dancing club. We were on the 1st floor and we would be disturbed by noise as people arrived and left until 0500 hrs. If we were to return I think we would as for rooms higher up in the hotel. All in all a very nice holiday. Soon be time for thinking about 2008.
Regards Mike J Gnosill, Wolverhampton, October 2007

Alhaurin Golf Resort, Costa del Sol, Spain
Once again we had a wonderful holiday. Very difficult to find fault!!! Hotel was good, golf tuition was excellent just that we couldn't put it into practice what we were taught (something to do with age I think) Anyway we now know what we should be doing. Thanks Kerrie. We passed your email address to two other people so hope you get their business.
Susan Battersby, Portugal, October 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
Thoroughly enjoyed Santa Clara probably one of the fairest courses I have ever played in the Costa Del Sol. El Chaparral has good greens.
Graeme Waghorn, UK, September 2007

Castelgandolfo Resort, Rome, Italy
Holiday was fine, however as in two years ago the Castel Gandolfo golf club does not respect the booked tee-times. On Saturday there was a tournament and we played the first 9 in the morning and the second 9 in the afternoon. That is the only comment which I have.
With kind regards, Vlastimil Hokr, Czech Republic, September 2007

Le Meridien N'Fis Hotel, Marrakech
Just back from Morocco and happy to report that everything went like clockwork. A wonderful time in a superb, friendly hotel.
Thanks again Regards Peter and Anita Hagger, Addington, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
We were a bit disappointed that all 4 courses had been spiking and dressing the greens when only one of the courses mentioned this on your website. Specific comments on each course would be: Alhaurin = I played this course twice within a year about 6-7 years ago just after it opened and it was superb. This year it's condition was a disgrace. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Tees, fairways, greens and bunkers were all in very poor condition. Monte Mayor = wonderful as always. Los Flamingos = second time I've played and once again very good. Not too demanding so good holiday course. Calanova = obviously very new and not particularly pretty with all the building work around but good layout. Definitely must have a buggy as there are a few holes that are a long way apart with steep walks.
Regards, Dave Tennant, Surrey, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
thank you for booking the tee time once again. We have played Estepona before, and it has been good value. But there is now a great deal of building going on, and new roads going in which is not good for a relaxing game or the view.We will not be playing this course again untill they have it sorted.
Best regards Peter Walker, UK, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
The weather was perfect for golf. As for the courses: Capobino was very narrow and relatively short course. It was very hilly with lots of blind shots into the green. The course was poorly marked and the greens were not in very good condition. Marbella was a much prettier course. It too was poorly marked, although better than Capobino. the greens ran true and the staff was much more helpful. Again, since it is a mountain course, it would be nice if they had some sort of markings to indicate where to go. 150 poles would be nice, as well as GPS. All in all we had a grand time playing both courses. FYI, the courses where we stayed, Los Olivos and Los Lagos both were in great condition, both had GPS on the carts and the greens ran true. Their only problem was that the T boxes were not in great condition. We had a great time in C del S and we hope to come back soon and continue trying the courses on the coast.
Charlie Sloane, New York ,September 2007

Vilamoura Beach Hotel , Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal
We both had a fantastic time and have no complaints about anything. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Thank you very much for organising it all.

Once again we had a successful trip. Everything went smoothly - car pickup on time, hotel facilities good, golf courses good. No problems at all.

Costa Blanca Golf
We had a great week and all three courses were in very good condition. Many thanks to Jim for all his help when we went to Real de Faula on the wrong day.Next time I will read the booking forms properly. Bonalba was playing well and the clubhouse has all necessary facilities. Real de Faula has improved tremendously in the last year, and the clubhouse facilities are first class. We played Los Olivos for the first time and it is a great course-we will play there again. The clubhouse facilities here again are excellent. Many thanks again for all your help. I hope to be in contact with you again when next I head for Spain,
Kind regards, John Daly, Wexford, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
Happy to give some feedback on the courses. La Cala - America As usual fantastic set up, good quality course. Slightly disappointing that the work on the course meant that the back tee's on the par 5's were not in use and therefore played as par 4's. However it didn't diminish from a great round and day. Will certainly be returning to play in January when next there. Miraflores Course was in not bad condition and had some nice holes, although the volume of building around the course left it impossibly tight in places. Unlikely to be played again which is a shame as it could be a nice track if it hadn't been so heavily built upon. Cabopino What should be a lovely course with a great layout is ruined by the poor condition of the course. Greens were more brown than green. Would have felt that I had been overcharged at half the price, definately wont be returning. Santa Maria Lovely course, if a little short. Well kept, excellent condition thoughout. Recommended. Santa Clara By far the best course and set up of the week. Planning to play in January and April for next two trips. Little touches made a difference, pleseant starter on the first tea, happy to chat and give details of the course, buggy with a cool box and immaculate course. Couldn't be better, worth every penny (or euro!).
Kind Regards Jonathan Hutchinson, UK, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
We had a fantastic holiday, San Roque and Sotogrande stand out in terms of the courses but you'd expect that. I was a little disappointed with the condition of Los Flamingos ad La Cala. Los Flamingos have obviously been concentrating on the new course, I thought the greens here were the worst I've ever seen them, normally they're up there with the best. La Cala just looked overplayed. Almenara, Santa Clara, Monte Mayor and more recently Rio Real were all up to scratch. Thanks for all your help in sorting these out, I'll be back in touch in time for the next holiday, whenever that will be.
Best Regards Andy Skilton, October 2007

Marina Portals Hotel, Portals Nous, Mallorca, Spain
This trip out of the last three was by far and away the best. The courses were absolutely awesome – we are all permanently in love with Son Termens – breathtaking views from high elevated tees, excellent greens and fairways and an excellent club house. The waiter is a bit grumpy – but you can’t have everything! Poniente had recently experienced a tornado and had lots of very large fallen trees, but was still playable and very good. Park Puntiro was another treat – the first three or four holes were extremely difficult and we were thinking it was going to be a long day and not enjoyable, but after that the rest of the course was brilliant and very well designed with good use of water, natural contours and mature trees. Marina Portals hotel is absolutely perfect for us as well. It is clean and comfortable has good facilities and friendly staff and is perfectly situated for our needs. Car hire was fine – we were given two 7 seat vehicles, which was a bit of a squeeze when carrying luggage and clubs, but was fine once we had got rid of the luggage. Thank you to you and everyone from Course Master who organized our trip. We will be in touch shortly to look at some options for next year. Thank you once again and best regards.
Brian Elliot, Berkshire, October 2007

Barcelo Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain
I just wanted to say a BIG thank you for sorting out our trip. The car hire, hotel and golf (Estepona) were all superb and it really made the trip that more enjoyable as everything was in place with no hiccups along the way. Many thanks again and I will be recommending yourselves and will come back again soon.
Best Regards Richard Neame, Kent, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
We did indeed enjoy the holiday thank you. All the courses were lovely , and I would not hesitate to recommend any of them to anybody. I would give particular praise to the course at Torrequebrada though. Wonderful condition and setting. After playing 5 really nice courses prior to this one on our last day, it still stood out as being a bit special. The clubhouse amenities were fantastic too. Thanks for your help in making it an enjoyable trip. I assume I will be in touch again next year !
Kind regards, Andy Zielinski, September 2007

Costa Blanca Golf
Everything was just perfect, and we had a very nice vacation. The golf courses (Bonalba, La Finca, Alicante) and the service at the caddymasters, was excellent. Its not the last time were gonna use your compagny when we travel somewhere to play golf.
Best regards Soren Davidsen, Denmark, September 2007

Course master was fantastic , in every department , price ,communication , and very professional . All my 16 golfers said it was the best trip ever and we have been going for over 8 years + Onces you have used Course Master you will think the same , just sit back and enjoy the trip ! TOP DRAW. I will be booking them again for next year .

Golf in Murcia, Spain
We had a great time thanks. We really enjoyed the courses, particularly Roda on the Sunday. I thought Roda was slightly better than La Torre as there seemed to be a bit more variation on the course. I would definitely recommend playing on them to anyone of my friends. I would also like to thank you for helping us at such short notice. Without your help I doubt we would have been able to sort it out in time. We are hoping to get away again in the next 6 months maybe so we will definitely look to sort it out through you guys again!! Thanks for all your help Kerrie and hopefully you will be hearing from us sooner rather than later!
Kind Regards, Mike Fine, Liverpool, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
Los Flamingos greens had just been cored and sanded. El paraisio fairways were dreadful, bunkers had no sand, running late and Took over six hours to complete round. Marbella Golf & Country club, fairways dug up by wild boer another six hour round due to non golfers in front, but apart from that I won the money.
Regards David Ashton, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
Santa Clara
was good. Better than my memory of it. I played it last year and was a little disappointed with it. But thinking back it might have just been the wrong time of year. I think they might have just done the greens. We all really enjoyed it this time. Greens were in great shape, course was in very good condition and food in the clubhouse was decent. Thanks very much for booking it for me. I will get in touch with you for all my future bookings. I played Santana a couple times. I think it is a little over priced but a good course. If you haven't played it yet I'll give you a tip for future clients you book in there. If they are keen golfers you should tell them to play off the whites. Playing off the yellows makes it a little to short and boring. Long hitters could drive a couple of the par fours. But off the whites it makes it a really good and challenging course. Much more enjoyable. Just a thought. I'll be in touch next time we are heading to Spain.
Thanks Lin & Geoff Chapman ,Cheltenham, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
Everything worked like clockwork - even the weather. Comments? Atalaya old - excellent course and good for most abilities. Alcaidesa Links - long and up and down - not for the average golfer - probably too hard for us! - big queues for buggies - just not enough to meet demand and the course really needs one. Los Arq - beautiful but hard and remember to pack several extra balls - v. tight in places, but my favourite of the three. Already considering plans for next year!! Thanks for all your efforts.
Guy Mathieson, September 2007

Algarve Golf
We thoroughly enjoyed playing Salgados. The course was in excellent condition and the weather was superb. Only downside was losing most of my golf balls in the lakes ! I'd recommend this course to any golfer heading to the Algarve.
Thanks Ian Brown, Scotland, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
We had great weather disapointed with the conditions of los naranjos and atalaya greens were very poor on both courses alhaurin was in very good condition and we actaully managed to master it this time we left the drivers in the bag played positional golf it works. don julia what can i say a gem in the making, superb condition, great challenge, 3 paR 3`S one after the other the longest 220 yds the shortest 200 yds i think one of them will be extended to a par 4 when they finish the building, one of the best courses we have played would put it up alongside santana which we played on our rest day and was as good as ever. very enjoyable.

Cornelia Deluxe Resort, Belek, Turkey
Our holiday was very good and the hotel was excellent, the tour company dealing with all our transfers to and from the hotel and our golf course's where extremely good. I would also like to thank yourself for organising a very enjoyable holiday, and I will be contacting you again when I need another golf holiday.
Regards, Simon Downing, Scotland, September 2007

Costa del Sol Golf
Golf holiday was excellent and all went perfectly with regard to the bookings thank you. The only comment we would make is Santa Maria was probably overplayed and crowded especially with people who really could not play golf and consequently the course was not in very good condition. However in their favour they had dressed the greens on our second round there and did offer to refund us if we chose not to play. But otherwise excellent particularly Santa Clara.
Regards Alan Green, Hants, September 2007

Cyprus Golf
I would like to thank you, everything was great - we combined our golf with a wedding of our doughter, it was really sophisticated decission! We spent very nice holiday, we know Cyprus very well and we will back there on spring time 2008! Best regards Dana Budigova, Czech Republic, September 2007

Algarve Golf
Thanks for you help our holiday in portugal was fab. Golf course (Millennium, Pinhal, Laguna) were in mint condition! out of this world! will hopefully be booking agian with you shortly!

Estoril Coast Golf Holiday
We had a wonderful time in Portugal and thought your selection of hotels and golf courses (Estoril was my favourite) quite excellent. Only problem (albeit a major one) was the theft of our golf clubs from our rented car which was parked in the secure garage of the Hotel Tivoli in Sintra. Having great fun doing battle with the insurance companies since my return. I would also have to say that Sintra is probably best avoided at the weekends when it is overrun with day visitors from Lisbon. If we were to go back, I think we would opt for the Clube do Lago in Monte Estoril which was an ideal location for Estoril, Cascais and Lisbon
Many thanks Victor Curtain, Hampshire, September 2007

We had a fantastic time, and the Golf was great. All the tee times were as stated, and there were no problems with booking in. I would like to thank you all for a very professional service. I found it very easy to use and very cost effective. I will recommend you to all my friends and associates.
Yours sincerelly Nigel Fosbraey, Kent, September 2007

Legends Golf Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC, USA
We have just returned from USA/Myrtle Beach. As usual, everything was perfect. Accommodation and courses superb. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Golf in Italy
Just a report back on the golf experience you helped set up in Tuscany. Circolo Golf Ugolino was absolutely great. The course was relatively easy but the back 9 was a bit narrower. 90% was on a hill side or was up or down to the hole, but for the most part most lies were easy to deal with. Their sand is hard and the cart paths very treacherous as many tee boxes are up on a bluff and run off from what must be a good watering system has taken its toll on the cart paths. Once I drove on the club property it took me all of 10 seconds to decide a cart was a good idea, just so I had some energy left for those long wine soaked evenings in Tuscany. My guests walked and they were a too bit over zealous in that exercise thing. Hitting a massive drive over many of the valley type fairways gave an impression of hitting beyond my average, very much fun. I clocked a 97, which for me on a strange course was just fine. Every stop on the cart along the fairways was like looking into one of those ancient oil paintings you see in all the art galleries of Italy. Cyprus trees, villas, olive tree groves and wine vineyards, it doesn't get any better. Ugolino is an old course, well maintained and the hospitality was exceptional. The pro and starter were very friendly and welcoming, they made sure we were comfortable and informed of updates and surprizes we would find on the course. Other members made us feel welcome and players on the course were polite and understanding. The club house facilities were top notch, food and beverage services excellent. Bar tenders, waiters etc. were accommodating and those we met on the course were also in the bar to exchange their course experiences which topped off the day very nicely. It is so nice to drive into a course and feel from the first contact you are welcome. It made our experience very pleasant and a desire to return to challenge/improve those scores. Knowing the lay of the land and getting a feel for "member's" breaks I think 10 strokes can be removed from this first experience at Ugolino. Thanks again for your assistance in making this a great experience.
Paul Lynch, Ontario, Canada, September 2007

Benabola Aparthotel, Costa del Sol, Spain
Apartments were great again. Car hire was fine although it took an age to sort out. They could not understand that we needed TWO drivers for two cars. They thought I was going to drive both of them for some reason? It was sorted in the end. El Chaparral was great. Greens were good and were made to feel very welcome. Monte Mayor is very hard but great fun. Only 2 other 4 balls on the course so millionaires golf! Santa Maria was very busy and seemed to take ages to get around. Not too difficult so ideal for some of the 'holiday golfers' with us. Torraqubrada (sure that is not spelt right!) was the best course we played and only 20 Min's from the airport meant it is a great course to play on the last day. Will be in touch soon to arrange next year. Looks like might be a few more.
Thanks again Martyn Gregory, Sheffield, September 2007

Palmanova Palace Hotel, Palma Nova, Mallorca
The holiday was excellent thank you .......... Out of the three golf courses we played Santa ponsa 1 was good but benidat and son vida were excellent in fact son vida was the best golf course I have ever played.....the staff at the courses and the hotel were very good..........we even missed a tee time one morning because we got lost. And the staff were very helpful and just gave us a later tee time which was very good of them ...........the hotel was clean and food was fine. As you know I took 15 men golfers away with me and not one of them complained once( apart from when I got them lost ) about anything . All in all we had a thoroughly brilliant time and I would recommend your company to anyone ...you have been very helpful, and once again many thanks
Bob Lucas ( railway arms golf society), Surrey, October 2007

We were all very impressed with La Serena especially as I believe it has only been open for a year or so.It was in very good condition and a good test of golf. The clubhouse was also very good with all the staff very welcoming and pleasant, we will certainly play it again. Villamartin was also enjoyable although some work was going on on the course , it seemed that some greens were being extended or redesigned. The course was very busy and the round took five hours on buggys to complete however this did not spoil a very enjoyable day. Thanks again for your efficient service and hopefully you will be booking again for us next year
Best regards Kieron Wilson, UK, October 2007

Just a quick note to thank you and your colleagues for all your help in booking our holiday. I cannot praise you all enough for your friendly efficient manner and I recommended you to everybody we met and played golf with on holiday! I am though, depressed now as I have no holiday to look forward to.
Best Regards Alison Stringfellow, UK, September 2007

Roda was very good and in excellent condition. La Torre was disappointing as when I booked I purposely avoided the Hollow tyne dates and yet when we turned up we were informed they hollow tyned earlier and we still had to pay the full price. We did request moving to another course in their group but were informed that it was fully booked. It is a lovely course but we did not enjoy due to the greens.

Hotel de Seignosse, Biarritz, France
Just a few comments (as I do) after having a very good holiday in Seignosse (Biarritz). The Sezam transfer service is first class - a comfortable and clean Renault Espace. The driver is polite and very helpful, speaks perfect English and was right on time for every collection. He also offers trips into Biarritz (50 euros each way) and local towns (15/20 euros each way) Having said that however you are totally isolated, with nowhere within walking distance at the Golf Hotel Seignosse, so if people want to eat out or visit the beach etc. they need a rental car which I would get if I went again. The Golf Hotel is some 45 kilometres from Biarritz and about 5 kilometres from Hossegor. The Hotel and Golf Club are very welcoming and the food is very good. To eat dinner is an average of 80 euros for two persons including wine. The Seignosse Golf Course is absolutely excellent and pictoresque, very hilly, narrow and challenging. I don't think anyone new will play to their handicap round there. Probably you need to be single figure handicap to really play well. Nevertheless we enjoyed it very much. The Moliets Golf Course is also excellent but less difficult - still a good test of golf. On this course unless you like an extremely long walk I would recommend a buggy as the distances from green to next tee are often as much as 500 metres! We walked the first time and suffered towards the end. Hope these comments are useful.
Thanks and regards Martin Read, Berkshire, September 2007

Another successful golf tour with all the arrangements for the golf running as smooth as ever. We were not expecting the courses to be of the same standard as courses we had played previously in Portugal and mainland Spain and taken with the fact that two courses we had initially chosen were having work done on the greens while we were there which meant we selected two different course which in theory were not so good. However, our expectations were proven to be way off the mark, with all the courses being well layed out and well maintained. Andratx and Son Termens, which were our replacement courses,  proved to be better than Santa Ponsa, both very tricky courses but well kept and fun to play. The only down side to these two courses was that the buggies had to remain on the paths and so it became a bit of a chore trekking from buggy to ball etc. Hard work when the temperatures are in the low 30's with 90%+ humidity and one has had a number of "shandys" and very little sleep the night before!!! ( I know what your thinking.....drink less and go to bed earlier !!). All in all a good time was had by everyone and the golf courses are of a sufficiently high standard to warrant a return trip on future golf tours. Once again, thanks for all your help in orgainising the golf, a brilliant service as always. Cheers....Neil Hornblow, Warwickshire, September 2007

We had a great holiday thanks....all the tee times were perfect. Enjoyed all three courses very much. Pace of play was fine and the courses didn't seem crowded at all. Probably rated Quinta South the best of the three. Val de Lobo Royal started off a little bit weak, but some great holes on the back nine. Vilamoura Victoria also good, though a typical new-style tournament course....so maybe a little less character than the other two. I haven't been to the Algarve before but was very impressed with all aspects of the location and would definitely go back.
Cheers, Geoff Arnett, UK September 2007

Almenara Hotel, Sotogrande, Spain
Hotel was excellent, same with the golf courses (La Reserva, Sotogrande, Valderrama). Just a comment on the car rental : we had to wait 1 hour and a half to get the car at the airport (lots of people waiting, manual treatment of each reservation, lack of staff) Except the car rental, it was perfect!
Thank you very much, Best regards, Henri Lusa, Switzerland, July 2007

Le Meridien N'Fis, Marrakech, Morocco
We had a great time thanks - all was very smoothly organised. We all agreed that the Amelkis course was much better than the Royal Marrakech. Amelkis had much more varied holes and water features, while the Royal was almost the same layout for every hole. The hotel was more of a European 4 star quality I think but service was helpful if a little slow at times - it was a great location though right by the Medina.
Regards Simon Woolfson, London, August 2007

First and foremost, thank you very much for the helpfulness of your staff on Thursday whilst re-arranging our golf as we were delayed in our departure. This was very prompt and helped us relax whilst we were stuck at the airport. As a collective, all of the courses I am about to mention were very friendly and very helpful and on that basis would recommend them to any of your other customers. Santa Maria - very nice layout and suitable for all handicap ranges. There was a good variety in styles of holes and we have earmarked this for a return visit next year. Parador Old - Disappointing presentation of the course and very poor course signage however there are some good holes and this would have been an ideal off the plane golf course, given this was now not the case for us I don't think it is a course we would return to unless a last resort option. Santana - 2nd year of playing this and will be one that remains on the schedule for as long as we keep returning. This course is not easy however the presentation and layout of the course is one that has all of our group ranging from handicaps 6-25 very impressed. We adhered to the buggy on cartpath ruling however observed a ladies outing who were often spotted on fairways and marshals appeared to do nothing about this, would be disappointed if double standards were in effect here as all appeared able bodied and as fit to walk as others on the course. El Chaparral - Low handicappers who play alot of golf and understand golf tactics will like this course as it requires strict course management and rewards accuracy more than some other courses which appear to have allowances for the errant shots. A bad shot, particularly tee shot, will more often than not result in a lost ball. Believe this course has not long re-opened and the condition of some areas probably reflects this. If they can keep the rough managable and keep the fairways consistent this could be a top course in the area however would not recommend this course to high handicappers unless they are prepared for the potential of alot of lost balls. Once again, thank you for your assistance in the arrangements of the golf on this holiday.
Regards Mark Roberts, Scotland, August 2007

Sherry Park Hotel
The Golf:- Sherry Park - Really like this course, I would have no hesitation in recommending to others, although I have to say it is not the most welcoming of clubs! but the course is great and they also have satnav buggies. Morgado - Alamos, not as good as the old course but still worth a visit. Palmares - Love this course more, every time we play it. Its a must play as far as I am concerned! The views from the clubhouse are fantastic and the people are very friendly. Victoria (Vilamoura) - Well worth the extra money! Really good test of golf - I failed! Thanks again for your help, will speak again.
Pete, Marie and Alice Jackson, Timberley, August 2007

Had a very good holiday. Liked Desert Springs a lot. Not too keen on Valle de Este which I would give a miss if we go back.
John McAndrew, Fife, July 2007

The courses were all of a really high standard and didn't disappoint. The Old Course was by far the best though and a really beautiful but challenging course with a fantastic design. Some holes that really took your breath away and will be remembered for a long, long time. The Millennium and Laguna courses were the next favourites both again fantastically designed with many memorable holes, the Laguna really making you think about every shot with many holes over water and also many with bunkers guarding the greens. The Millennium played slightly easier but was no less fun for that. And a bit of a relief too! The Pinhal was very hard! Long with narrow tree lined fairways and of the four probably the least memorable in terms of design and playability. That said still a great course and no disappointment at all. Would definitely recommend them and will quite possibly be back to try them again! Thanks again!
Regards Darrell Goulding, UK, September 2007

I really enjoyed my round at Maspalomas G.C. I played at 9.30 in the morning when it was nice and cool, it never got too hot even though it was in August, this is their off season and it's not really busy. I got a buggy and golf clubs to hire for 30 euro. If you go in summer you might have to wait a while for a partner or group to join in with or else you can just play away on your own. Thanks again to all at Coursemaster Golf for all their help and advice.
Martin O'Riordan, Ireland, August 2007

All the courses were very nice. (Amarilla, Costa Adeje, Golf del Sur, Buenavista, Las Americas) Pretty quiet (which was great!). Enjoyed them all. Didn't get to Buenavista due to forest fires which was a shame. All well organised. Will be back to book once I know where next summer will take us....
Regards, Paul Skelton, July 2007

The only comment regarding one of the courses was Alto, which was the first one we tried. The grass on the greens is very course, so one had to putt very hard in order to move the ball forward. Other than that everything was fine. All the golf clubs (Pinta, Gramacho, Palmares, Pinhal) accepted our vouchers with no problems and I noticed that Course Master are well-represented in many adds, etc. We have now tried booking both a package in Spain and just green fees with Course Master, and we have been fully satisfied both times. We will most definitely be booking with you again if your prices continue to be competitive, as it is always nice to know the kind of service to expect.
Kind regards, Susanne Rogberg, September 2007

Dom Pedro Golf Hotel, Algarve, Portugal
We had a great holiday. as usual everything was very well organised - the dom pedro golf hotel was excellent and the courses were great (Vilasol, Laguna, Pinhal). transport good too. we are already trying to organise to go back in may 2008. thanks a lot for your help and service.
cheers Eugene Kelly, UK, August 2007

Everything was OK. Pinheiros Altos was a great course - fair value - but in Algarve there is nothing like Vale do Lobo (both Ocean and Royal).
kind regards, Kenneth Machon, Denmark, September 2007

Golf in Turkey
The National is an absolutely stunning course. Great to play on, not overly techincal just long pars.
Anne Seabrook, Essex, August 2007

Sol Magalluf Hotel
Thank you for your enquiry we had a brilliant time and will probably be going back to Majorca next year. The hotel Sol Magalluf suited are needs and was a good hotel. We played four separate courses (Poniente, Bendinat, Santa Ponsa, Son Muntaner) but we all agreed that the Poniente course was not in good condition it was a tatty course in need of investment. The only other problem we had was with the directions to the golf courses , some of the directions are vague and some are totally wrong. These were however only minor problems and we all enjoyed the holiday. The car hire selection was perfect ,the citroen Berlingo is just what is required As I stated above we will return but with a slight change to the golf courses selected . Thank you again .
Ian Melling, Wigan, September 2007

I would stay away from Cabopino, even though it adjacent to my apartment, for the time being because the greens are a disgrace. They have lost them a bit with bare patches all over and also have been heavily sanded. I wanted to complain but could never get hold of the manager.
Cheers Steve Gibbons, UK, September 2007

Olympus Sun Club
A wonderful time had by all. Your arrangements and facilitation were first class as always, and the 2 new members were impressed with how smoothly everything went! I must apologise for not taking my vouchers to Laguna on the Friday, and causing some problems for you in having to fax through details – too much Sagres beer the night before!! Once again many thanks, and I look forward to speaking to you shortly to book next year’s trip!
Best wishes – Mike Treharne, Lancashire, September 2007

I enjoyed the golf course (Villamartin) very much, the greens were in very good condition,BUT the facilities were not ,the changing rooms were very dirty and the lockers unusable as they had almost all been broken into, it felt unsafe to use showers and a feeling of being grubby every-where could not be avoided.thier was no restaurant on the topfloor and no pool to use so very dissapointing indeed. I would not recommend to any-one to go there.
regards.Mark Pearson, UK, September 2007

Aphrodite Hills Resort
Overall it was good value. Hotel is great. The golf courses (Aphrodite Hills, Tsada, Secret Valley) are OK.
Peter Mullen, Guernsey, September 2007

Many thanks for arranging our golf.(Palmares, Gramacho, Morgado)Everything worked out smoothly and we had the most fantastic time. The Morgado courses were superb, in fact they all were. I was delighted with your service and will use you again. Many thanks.
Derry Lewis, Berks, August 2007

We did enjoyed the all the courses you booked for us. Alcaidesa had great views but the condition was not that great. It must be a very new course cos club house looked brand new and very roomy and clean place. It maybe better palce when it get mature. All the other courses were good (La Duquesa, San Roque) as well as the facility. Thank you for all your help!
Regards, Marty Otsubo, London, August 2007

Had a good time we enjoyed Vale de lobo but far more enjoyed the old course at Vilamoura which was in real good condition and would definitely go back and play there. Many Thanks
Ian Hunt , UK, June 2007

It has been a perfect trip, no problems at all. I will recoment your company at anytime and i looking forward too book golf with you again.
Best regards Kasper Steen, Denmark, July 2007

Vila Gale Marina
As usual the Hotel was very good value and the transfers to and from the airport were on time. However, the transport to and from the golf courses were a minimum of 30 minutes late on 3 occasions and 10 minutes early twice! That would be our only criticism. the courses (Millennium, Pinhal, Vilasol, Old Course), as usual, were superb.
regards John Russell, Elgin, July 2007

Las Palmeras Hotel
The trip went without a hitch thank you. We are planning to do the same again next year, and we will be certainly using Coursemaster again. With regards to the Palmeras it was also fine. My only comment would be that we could not get a hotel secure parking spot for both the hire cars and therefore had to carry our golf equipment up to the room each day. Finally – we have played Santa Maria and Rio Real previously and they were as good as ever. However, this is the first time we have played Los Naranjos and it was excellent. Once again thank you for all your help.
Best regards Paul Bissett, West Yorkshire, July 2007

As per last year everything went smoothly, thanks again for your great organisation, and again I would recommend your company to anyone!! The golf courses were great, (Pinhal, Old Course, Quinta do Lago) the old course is probably my favourite but the others were fun too!! only thing I can complain about was my golf was bad, unfortunately though I do not suppose you could help me there....unless you are a golf pro in your spare time???
Alastair Barron, Edinburgh, July 2007

Campoamar Hotel, Costa Blanca, Spain
The hotel is lovely with fantastic views and facilities, the pool is out of the world and the rooms are excellent, the downside to the whole visit was the very poor service by the hotel staff in the restaurant, if you eventually obtained a drink or food from them you found yourself being completely ignored thereafter, you couldn't get further service, ie more drinks or a menu to order any food or even settle the bill if you had succeeded! We also noticed many other guests who were using the bar and restaurant facilities also having the same problems, so it appears to be fairly widespread. Whilst the hotel was very nice, we probably wouldn't go back again as the service really does let the place down.
Regards, Chris Wild, Merseyside, July 2007

I've played there before. (La Finca) I love this golf course. It's the best I've played in Spain.
Regards Andrew Hoult, UK, June 2007

Tivoli Almansor Hotel, Algarve, Portugal
We had a great holiday. Taking each part in turn! – The car hire from the airport was easy, your tip to go straight to their office outside the airport saved us time. The car was a good size, clean and easy to drive. We were pleased with the hotel and its location, the staff were very friendly, the food good and the facilities also good. If we were to make any comment against, it would be that the room was quite tight and tired, in need of a refurb perhaps; however, this did not spoil anything. Pestana Golf Academy was excellent. Our coach Carlos was first class. His tuition was clear and good to learn from; he was a lovely gentleman who certainly gave us the inspiration to play. We played the Academy and Resort Courses at Penina (not very well but we tried!). We only played 9 holes, as we felt that was enough at our stage, and also in the high temperatures. Many thanks again, we would recommend your company to others.
Regards Wendy Heydecke, Leeds, July 2007

Golf (Villamartin) was good but feel entrance area and ofice area are looking pretty run down.
Carole Anderson, Scotland, June 2007

Thank you for arranging the times on the two golf courses and rectifying the issue we had of losing our vouchers for Prai del Rey. As for general comments: 1. Golden Eagle is quite a good course, if a little young, and I am sure with a bit of time and investment it will be a very good course. 2. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service dished out at Praia del Rei (amateurish may be the best word). We arrived to be told we were playing off the 10th which was slightly annoying as I like to play the course as it was designed. We got to the 10th tee and were then told we were playing with 2 people, who unlike us, didn't have a buggy. They happened to be v nice guys, but having paid a fair bit of money for the round the least you expect is to play by yourselves. The attitude of the woman in the pro shop was bang out of line when I reported my unhappiness. She seemed v ambivalent and put everything down to the time of year. A genuine apology wasn't too much to expect. This level of service was in stark contrast to, for example, when I have played in North America. I don't know how much control you have over such things, but I thought it was worth you guys knowing.
Kind regards David Woolfenden, UK, August 2007

The course (La Sella) is in good condition and is run efficiently, with a good clubhouse. The one criticism is that our 2-ball (H/C 9&15) round took over 5 hours and we were using a buggy, the reason being that many of the "golfers" we were following should never have been on the course, they were hackers (and were dressed accordingly) ! With thanks again for arranging our tee-time.
Robin Wheatley, Surrey, July 2007

Poniente was ok and we enjoyed the day. The only thing that spoilt it a bit was on playing the first hole we were not informed that the first green was currently being aired and sanded, therefore making it unplayable. We had to be informed to play from the 2nd tee by the following group. We ended up playing it as the last hole. A few of the other greens had been aired and sanded as well but overall the layout of the course was great and we enjoyed our golf.
Al Woods, Lanarkshire, June 2007

Monte da Quinta was superb. Great location, good security and excellent facilities with clubhouse and swimming pool, shops and restaurant also as part of complex. Aparthotel opening early next year. Car Hire fine, golf courses great. In order I would rate them 1. Q de L South 2. Pinhal 3. Q de L North 4. Villa Sol (too much building work) 5. Millennium (too boring, like playing in open field for 12 holes) San Lorenzo looks a nice course and heard good things about the Old Course at Villamoura but was closed for some reason when we were there Thanks for your help in booking this for us
Kind regards Martin Crisp, Herts, August 2007

My son and I played the short course (Real de Faula South) as you know.We both had a great day.The course was immaculate both the tee boxes and the greens in top condition. The course IS very tricky, both in it's design and the positioning of the pins.Lots of ravines to hit over, and if you top your tee shot, well it's bye-bye,and three of the tee.I always took 2 practise swings and then immediately took my shot(to get rid of the dreaded nerves). Plus Points: Course and Pins are very challenging, great layout, excellent value for money(2for1) Minus Points None really except that if hitting over ravines un-nerves you, then bring a dozen balls with you (just in case).
Kind Regards Graham Moffitt, Spain, August 2007

Everything went very well and the golf course of Panoramica was completely eminently in good order. I woud recomended that golf course to my frend and your friendly willingness to be of service for me as well.
BR Isto Hietanen, Finland, July 2007

We had a great day, the course (Flamingo Rosa) was in excellent condition & it was very quiet millionaires golf! There are some excellent holes my only criticism would be there are a few holes very similar on the back nine going up the hill & back down you almost think you have played them already but where that part of the course is maybe that don't have a huge amount of options?
Regards Damian O'Brien, Spain, August 2007

We had a great time in Estoril, Portugal. Most of the courses were great and we also have played some of them before. If I should put the courses in our preffered order it would be like this: 1. Oitavos 2. Penha Longa 3. Quinta de Marinha 4. Belouras 5. Estoril. We will connect with you again when we will need this kind of service. Take care.
Kind regards Steinar Rasmussen, Norway, July 2007

The courses were fine, thanks, Laguna being the harder & more challenging, although Pinhal was a nicer layout & better maintained.
Ken Doughty, West Yorkshire, July 2007

Vila Gale Ampalius
They (Millennium, Vilasol, Old, Vale do Lobo Royal) were as usual of a high standard. The senior suite in particular was really good.
Noel Crowe, Ireland, July 2007

The pre-bookings worked perfectly, thank you. Regarding the courses, I can highly recommend El Bosque (the best of the three courses) and Medittareneo, with their beautiful landscaping, fairways and excellent greenes. El Saler was OK, but the greenes had apparently suffered during the season, with "burned" areas and not too well maintained. They may suffer from work with renovating the resort and surrounding area. I suspect the course will be good next year, if they've finished the renovation. (Spa Hotel etc). All in all we had a great vacation with great weather, great golfing and beautiful Valencia with its beach and architecture as scenery.

Sol Guadalupe Hotel, Mallorca
Organisation: Course Master provided a first class service and ensured that the logistics of transporting 20 golfers to/from the airport and 3 golf courses occurred without any difficulties. Even when problems occurred prior to travel Course Master ensured I was kept fully informed and went the 'extra mile' to ensure that issues were resolved to my satisfaction. Hotel: Large hotel who cater well for groups, its well located in a quieter area of Magaluf only 5 mis from the large beach. The food is well presented and plentiful and the dining room always looked clean and well staffed. The bar area is more suited for families but is OK for a meeting place. The 'strip' is about a 10 minute walk away. Golf: Son Vida: Quite a short course but ideal for groups. The greens had just been 'top-dressed' but were still in very good condition. Fairly forgiving, however water comes into play on several holes. (rating 8/10) Son Termens: A physically challenging course where a buggy is essential - don't even consider playing without a buggy. Some interesting holes with spectacular views. (rating 7/10) Santa Ponsa 1: Ideally situated only a short drive away from Maguluf. The course was in excellent condition with greens and fairways carefully manicured. If only playing one round on the Island I would thoroughly recommend playing here. (rating 9/10) General comment on 'après golf' - the club houses were fairly quiet and not the most welcoming, there was no food on offer after 18.00 hrs and drinks are quite expensive. Hope this helps.

Golf courses (Roda, Villamartin, La Finca) were all very good and in good condition though villa martin looked abit tired.i had absolutely no problem with car hire and had an upgrade thrown in.i will definitely be in touch again so thank you.

We had a great holiday and the golf was excellent. All of the courses were great but some brief comments are provided below: Oliva Nova - Very playable and in great condition. Would love to play it again. El Bosque - We found this to be the best test of golf. In great condition and you really needed to think your way round. We also loved the new club house. Would defiantly play again. Real De Faula - A good course but a bit untidy in places. A lot of work was going on around the course to improve the appearance and I am sure this will improve things over the coming months. This was my least favourite course. La Sella - Accept for a couple of greens which were heavily sanded, the course was in great condition and included some very interesting holes. Not long but more of a ply for position type course. I really enjoyed it and would play again. El Saler - Great course, loved every minute of it. The only disappointment was that the club house was being re built so there was only a temporary building. Would love to go back and play again once all the building work is finished. We enjoyed our trip so much that a friend and I are considering buying Villas on a golf complex! Thank you for the excellent service you provided and I would not hesitate to contact you again next time we are planning to play golf in Spain.
Tony Dix, Bristol, July 2007

We played it (Los Naranjos) twice. The course itself is to be recommended but the second time we played the fairways had just been hollow tined and scraped, so the fairways were in bad shape. In general though we thought it was a good easy golf course but very fair and, very enjoyable and the GPS was great. We were also pleased with the greenfee deal we got. Except for the fairway work that was being done, I would definitely put it on the list in the future. Finally, the location was great and the bar and restaurant food was good and reasonably priced.
Regards, Tim McCarthy, Ireland, June 2007

As always the 4 of us always enjoy the golf whatever the condition of the course Torrequebrada was in fantastic condition and we decided to play there again next year, the EUR40 for the buggies seemed a little high but on average it's only an additional EUR5. Both Chaperal and Monte Mayor some of the tees were not that good but fairways and greens were generally good. Calanova was in great condition considering the fact it only opened in January. Overall I would say we got value for money and none of us felt we had played a course that wasn't in good condition generally.
Thanks Simon Haynes, UK, July 2007

Thank-you very much for sorting my golf out, it was excellent. Everything was done very efficiently, smoothly and the communication was perfect. I will definately be booking with you again when i visit the Costa del Sol and if possible other parts of Europe. I will have no hesitation in reccommending you to friends and family, especially from my local golf club where I am a member. Kindest regards, contact you in the future.
C T Wykes, UK, June 2007

We thoroughly enjoyed our golf in Spain, in particular La Serena. The course was in great condition and although it has water on 16 holes it was very fair, if you choose not to use driver off the tee all the time. Roda was a good course but very slow.I have now played it 3 times and each time it has been 5 hours. La Marquesa was in good condition and very enjoyable. I would say that the staff in the clubhouse do need offer the standard of service that the other 2 courses offer. I hope this information is of help to you and look forward to contacting you again for next year's golf trip.

La Cala Resort
I now hope to be a much better golfer after my experience at Leadbetter's Academy which I enjoyed very much, the La Cala Hotel was very comfortable but I am not sure where they get the Five Star level from, it is a very good hotel with breakfasts of plentiful choice although the evening menu leaves a bit to be desired, consequently I only dined their one evening. The hotel is ideally situated for a golfing holiday as you must be aware, I did take advantage of The Spa, which I thought was average. With regard the La Cala golf. All courses are very challenging and beautifully situated, but my only complaint could be that a buggy was not included in the price I paid which one clearly need on the courses.
Regards Brian Lane, London, July 2007

Firstly a quick note to say thanks for the work you did in booking the courses (Santa Clara, Rio Real). You managed to get the tee times I asked for and they were perfect, as the temp was in the mid 30's the early morning start was excellent. I have played at the courses before and so knew what I was getting. Despite the hot temperatures the courses were in excellent condition, the green keepers were very courteous and allowed us priority all the time, the caddy masters were polite and helpful and the food at both courses was excellent. Thanks again, you can be sure I wll be using you again.
Paul Higginson, UK, July 2007

We had a fantastic time at the Aphrodite Hills. The weather was great and the people at the course could not have been nicer, They would definatley play there again and would have no hesitation booking with yourselves. Thanks again for your help
Kind Regards Liz Breeze, UK, June 2007

All three courses were wonderful. Valle do lobo - royal course was stupendous, my boyfriend's favourite. I really enjoyed the palmares, great ocean view, palm trees and a fun dog followed us from hole#4 until the 18th. He was pretty wise too, always waited at the right spot, next tee shot... We met 2 englishmen and year after year, they golf in Portugal, always try out new courses but always play Palmares at least once every trip. This course has something special... Val Da pinta was also very well manucured, beautiful stylish club house but a little snob for my taste. ! LPGA girls were there, we were not allowed to go on the same practice range... They threw me out...no one told us they were there...hum... Nevertheless, we had a wonderful holiday, Portugal is such a beautiful country, all reservations were done perfectly ! My next door neighbor is a travel agent and a great golfer. I gave her your web site, all printouts I had and she intends to use it herself and will suggest it to her clients. I only had good words about you and Course Master - good prices and great service. You will hear from me again!
My best regards Paule Bussiere, Quebec, Canada, June 2007

Quinta Do Lago Would say that the south course was a better course than the north course. The holes on the south course had more character than the north while the north course is still a good golfing challenge does not have the same attractive layout. Pinheiros Altos Appeared to be a reasonably new course yet to fully mature, this said it was a nice layout and not too long compared to other Algarve courses. The golf buggies have a Sat Nav type monitor that adds to the experience and also is very useful. Salgados Think the major news on Salgados was the new clubhouse, very impressive. Course is as it  states in the brochures a Florida type course with plenty of water. Penina Nice, in my opinion nearly a UK links type course and the evidence of Henry Cotton design was evident with tight driving holes due to tree lined fairways and specifically located bunkers etc.
Steve Aitken, UK, June 2007

The bookings went very smoothly thankyou and the courses were excellent. We have played Oliva Nova quite a few times now and always enjoy the course and facilities. Very quiet at our tee time with no other golfers in front or behind during the whole round?? The Real de Faula course was very good until we caught up with golfers in front who had quite clearly not much experience of the game and very unlikely to have had "handicap certificates". It seems that courses will allow groups to play without certificates and I think they should make this clear to serious players, who might want to review where to play. Many thanks for all your help we did enjoy both courses.
Best wishes, John Spiller, UK, June 2007

Sol Magalluf Hotel, Mallorca
The hotel was perfectly suitable for our requirements, as it was walking distance to the main centre for the beach, bars and restaurants. The rooms were clean and tidy. Although we didn't eat very often on an evening at the hotel, the breakfasts were really good, and the evening meal choice again was good. The golf courses (Santa Ponsa, Poniente) were great, it's a shame that out golf wasn't !!! Everything went to plan, taxi waiting at the airport when we arrived etc. It was all very smooth. Just what we wanted, thank you. I believe Andy has already been in touch with you regarding next year's trip, so now you'll wish you hadn't done such a good job on this years' !!! Thanks again for all your help.

Ahotels Platja Park
All the golf courses (PGA Catalunya, Platja de Pals, Emporda, Costa Brava, Golf D'Aro) were excellent, the PGA Catalunya was outstanding The only slightly disappointing part of the holiday was the hotel, which was functional/impersonal rather than satisfactory, and the food was not of the expected quality (the disappointment was such that, given a choice, we would not stay there again)
Kind regards Gordon Watt, Wiltshire, June 2007

In response to your e-mail, I am pleased to say that we enjoyed our stay at Il Pelagone very much. However, when we arrived we were allocated an apartment on the first floor which had no view and was not what we expected. I asked for a change to the ground floor and the receptionist was most helpful and we spent our holiday in an apartment overlooking the golf course which had a patio and garden area. This was much more acceptable but the move was probably possible because they were not fully booked. There was a very good restaurant serving a wide variety of food which we enjoyed. The complex is obviously German owned so much of what we experienced was specifically geared for that clientele. This was not a problem as everything was of a very high standard. The golf course was not overcrowded and was well maintained. Thank you
Glenda Stewart, Belfast, June 2007

Roda is a very good course and you can take the buggies any where on the course. La Torre is O.K. but too much "Beach". Large areas of sand instead of fairway. The resort is huge and none of the Polaris courses will allow buggies on the fairways which is a nuisance. We also played at Mosa Trajectum. 3 x 9 holes which was excellent. We looked at La Manga but the prices were frightening! I will contact you when we next golf in Spain.
Regards Geoff Keighley, UK, June 2007

I think this is 3rd or 4th golf your company has sorted and as usual everyhting was spot on. The courses were well organised and in fantastic condition. Although the Victoria was hard to beat we all agreed the old course was overall winner. The staff at all three courses were all very nice and I hope to be able to play in Portugal again soon.
Derek Hall, Wirral, June 2007

Both courses were excellent and took care of us superbly. We have previously been put off by the price of Marbella Club Golf Resort however the rates this time were excellent value. At those prices we would certainly return in the near future
Kind Regards Paul Ellison, Oxfordshire, June 2007

Thank you for your service - the vouchers worked just fine. Playa Serena was a nice course, just a little passed its best or neglected or under reconstruction or something - many of the water features were empty or dirty etc but it was still an enjoyable experience. La Envia was a very enjoyable round - course very seneic and well kept but as you would expect with a mountain course - buggy essential! (When I arrived at La Envia they had a shotgun start competition starting that morning so they said that at 10.30 I had to be on the 8th or the 11th tee. I asked why you were not told this when making the booking - no answer. But they gave me a bottle of water, a kitkat and a buggy at members prices as compensation(!) so it was a fair deal in the end.) Hope to use you again sometime
Kind regards, Chris Davies, UK, June 2007

Thanks for your prompt service, at very short notice. Everything went fine with the holiday and the golf. I have to say that that the friendliness and service at Quinta da Cima is second to none, I have played there a few times now and the quality of the course is superb. Quinta do Lago was in very good condition, the only complaint was with the pairing arranged by Quinta do Lago, which was resolved by the starter. We were paired with a gentleman and his wife (28 & 36 handicap ) and as we play off a 4 & 6 handicap they said the would prefer to play on their own which I fully understand as did the starter who let us play as a two ball. This was better for us as we completed the round in 3 1/2 hrs on foot. My Friend asked them about pairings after the round and was informed that due the amount of games being played they are just trying to get as many people as possible on the course.
Best regards Andy Garratt, Cheshire, May 2007

La Quinta was excellent if not a little tricky. Atalaya was a very tidy course and a bit more forgiving which was perfect for the first round.
Many thanks again, David Roberts, UK, May 2007

We had a fantastic time in Cyprus, and I'd like to thank you for your help in organising the golf. We found both courses to be very good and actually paid to play an extra round at Secret Valley on our final day. Thanks again for all your help,
Richard Jones, UK, May 2007

We did enjoy our golf and if it helps you here is a short bit of feedback for you. ALHAURIN: Not brilliantly signposted off the main road.Very hilly course with spectacular mountain views.I would imagine it is a young course still needing to establish itself.Greens were ok. ALCAIDESA: Very pleasing all round.Gibraltar backdrop on most holes you play.Good test of golf with some very nice holes.Greens were good.Very enjoyable. The "Menu of the day" was indifferent!!Straight down the motorway and the course was quite well signposted off it. LA CALA: Very busy and we were doubled up with some Scots lads which we did not know about.I do not want to pay for golf and then fing I have been grouped with strangers. It spoilt the day.The course was in excellent condition with good greens.Easier to find off the main road. SANTA MARIA: Very pleasing all round.Excellent course and facilities.Very enjoyable.Easy to find. My top three courses,so far, in no particular order are: RIO REAL/SANTA MARIA & ALCAIDESA
Best wishes to you. WA Norris, Devon, May 2007

We did indeed enjoy playing the Cosmopolitan Golf Club where the staff were very friendly. It was a challenging course with quite a lot of water which meant one had to hit the ball straight (not easily achieved at times). One small complaint would relate to the condition of the tee-boxes which were badly cut-up in places. To be fair to the Club it was hard to judge the overall condition of the course as it was closed until 11:30 the morning we played it due to heavy rain which only stopped around 10:30. If I am in Tuscany again I would definitely consider playing it again.

Cortijo Blanco Hotel, Costa del Sol
Just a quick note to say a big thank you for another great holiday - 6th year and still as good!. The car hire worked perfectly following your email to Bernado. The 3 star Cortijo Blanco could do with a bit of face lift but the food was excellent and the rooms fine. We wouldn't have a problem going there again. All golf courses were fabulous. We went for three different ones this year and we weren't disappointed. Alcadeisa was great. The practise facility took a bit of finding but the course was in terrific condition. Not sure if I would class it as a links course but we thoroughly enjoyed it and the views were tremendous. Thoroughly enjoyed El Paraiso. Reminded me a bit of Rio Real and the greens were like ice! Santana was great. The first nine was long with some very long par fives. Loads of bunkers strategically placed and the long 4th (I think) has a look of Augusta! The greens were really difficult to read but it made it a really good challenge. No practise facilities there but it didn't spoil our fun. Rating Alcadeisa 9, El Paraiso 9 Santana 9. Can't wait for next year.
Thanks again Dave Hughes Cheshire. England, May 2007

Pestana Alvor Praia
We had a wonderful holiday, it all went very well. The car hire company upgraded us and in terms of facilities, food, location and service, the hotel was just great. Only small niggles were that tennis was over-priced at 15 euro an hour and we weren't fond of the 'easy-listening' live music in the restaurant and especially in the bar in the evening. Our golf instructor was very good, no complaints there at all although we had some trouble following the driving directions which may have been out of date. For us, golf lesson in the morning and 18 holes in the afternoon was a bit much, in future we would only do 9 if doing both on the same day. We liked the Penina Resort course and actually found it easier than the academy course which is very narrow and a bit awkward to move around as it is co-located with the championship course. Thats it! Thanks for your help.
Margaret Daly, UK, May 2007

Just wanted to say thanks v.much for all your help in organising the cars and the golf, it was much appreciated. Everything to do with the car hire - pick-up, drop-off, etc - was spot on. Of all the 4 courses we played everyone enjoyed Roda the most, it was a typical DeVere course, in great nick and with lots of water everywhere! La Finca was v.nice, but we got it on a bad day weather-wise with plenty of wind and a bit of rain too. The other two - Mosa and Alenda - were ok, but we wouldn't rush back to play either. Overall though, a great trip so once again thanks v.much!
Cheers, Stuart Lovell, Midlothianm May 2007

Thank you we had a good time I would say that playa serena had a lot of work going on and consequently the course was not at its best Le envia was superb Valde este had recently carried out work on the greens and therefore was not at its best
Thanks Mark Gillham, Kent, May 2007

Alicante - Superb! Allenda - Vastly improved - Superb! Bonalba - Needs Tidying up, but still very good. Speak again soon!
All the best Gary Hart, May 2007

We were very pleased with Los Naranjos. The course was in good condition. We had pre booked for 4 golfers and 4 sets of golf hire. In the end there were only 3 golfers, but they let us have the golf club hire and trolleys free. This was very considerate and I would recommend them.
Regars Dave McCann, UK, May 2007

We were very disappointed that Le Torre and Mosa had just hollowtined the greens and sprinkled large quantities of sand over them. The putting on these greens became a lottery and no fun at all! At the cost to play these golf clubs it would be nice to have knowledge of these conditions and a discount or lower price should be charged. La Serena and La Finca were both in first class condition and great value for money. I would suggest that when I make future bookings the maintenance of the greens should be checked with the club to ensure we get the best value for money.
Thanks Barry Pasby, UK, May 2007

Whilst all four of the courses we good, the Old Course stood out for me, probably because it was the most mature although some of the early holes of the Millennium course were also fantastic. I guess that in playing 4 courses in 7 days, the holes which are effectively out in the open tend to merge into one. The arrangements that you made for us worked a treat, the only amendment was at Victoria were we started at the 10th. This meant we started with the "water" holes. I suspect there is nothing you could have done about this....it looked like a large party started from the first. Thank you for your help and I hope to be in contact again next year!!
Kind regards Chris Wood, Mirefield, May 2007

The courses where excellent. Los Aqueros fantastic we will be going back.
Many Thanks. Phil Lundy, Liverpool, May 2007

We did all enjoy the Roda course, it was much more pleasant than Serena which we played first, that was so boring , each hole seemed so repetitive. We felt it was a waste of money and we paid an extra load of money to hire four electric trolleys. Needless to say the course was practically empty. Campoamor was in great condition also - although several agents had been saying avoid it! This we didn't understand. We are selling our apartment so not likely to be golfing in Spain for some time. Maybe one day we will make it to Canada!!!
Ann Hammond, Loughborough, May 2007

Most of the courses were in good condition with the occasional greens sanded. The best putting surfaces were on Pinhal but we found the course to be quite short even though we were allowed to play off the back tees. Victoria was a good layout and would have been a tougher test off the back markers but they are obviously preparing it for the Portugese Masters in October. My favourite course was Millenium because of the diversity of holes and the importance to position tee shots. You could be on a green in regulation and have an impossible putt because of the size and severe contours of the greens, but the course was pleasant to play and in great order throughout. The onl
