NH Almenara Golf Tournaments
June and July 2004

First Tournament: 26-27 June 2004

Second Tournament: 3-4 July 2004

Third Tournament: 17-18 July 2004

 

Method of Play:

All tournaments are played as single handicap - Stablefords at the NH Almenara golf course, Sotogrande

All players participating in any one tournament will play in a single category.

Eligibility:

  • Players must have spent at least one night at any NH hotel during the preceding year including the dates on which the championship is heal may enter.
  • Players must hold a licence issued by the Royal Spanish Golfing Federation or provie proof of their handicap by presenting a certificate from their home club
  • Players must be more than 18 years of age
  • Players must possess a handicap of no more than 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

Prizes:

1st Place in each tournament: Trophy and invitation to join the Sotogrande team for the Andalusian 2004 Volvo Masters Pro-Am, 27 October at Valderrama

2nd place in each tournament: Trophy and invitation to join a 2-day clinic at Sotogrande Golf Academy with the staff of the David Peltz School including a 2-night stay at the NH Alanda Hotel (Marbella) in a double room with bed and breakfast. Arriving 19 September, Departing 21 September 2004.

3rd Place in each tournament:

A trophy and an inviation to a one-day clinic with European Tour player Santiago Luna including a 2-night stay at NH Almenara or NH Sotogrande in a double room with bed and breakfast. Arriving 11 August and departing 13 August 2004

4th Place in each tournament: 2 green fees at La Reserva Golf club and 2 green fees at Almenara Golf Club to be used before 31 December 2004.

2nd and 3rd to last places: An invitation to a clinic on 12th August 2004 with European Tour player Santiago Luna.

Prices:

Entry fee for tournament (2 rounds) - 140 euros

Entry fee for golf tournament + single room, includes accommodation for 2 nights, breakfast and dinner for one and two tournament rounds - 460 euros

Entry fee for the Gofl ournament + double room, includes accommodation for 2 nights, breakfast dinner for two and two tournament rounds

Supplement for second player in a double room and 2 tournament rounds - 100 euros

All prices are for each tournament only and include a buggy for each round. Please enquire for special rates for guests arriving before and staying on after the tournaments.

The dinner will be held after the first day’s tournament at the NH Almenara Golf Hotel and Spa
