If you’re looking for a golf course with beautiful views, there cannot be a more spectacular one than Alcaidesa, the westernmost golf course on the Costa del Sol. The only 18 hole links course in Spain, Alcaidesa offers views of the Mediterranean, the Rock of Gibraltar and Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. The hilly par 71 course snakes along the Mediterranean, and has four beachside holes. The greens are in immaculate shape and the fairways in good shape.

Alcaidesa Heathlands Golf
The Heathlands course, designed by Dave Thomas Ltd, offers a variety of natural landscapes ranging from the plateau area (holes 1 to 5 & 17th & 18th) where the course has the feel of a Heathland course with wide fairways and outstanding views of the Mediterranean sea and the local mountain ranges, including the Sierra Nevada, to the river valley where the holes meander along the valley & incorporate various water features/hazards.
