Alboran was designed by Ramón Espinosa, one of the most prestigious golf architects, and was constructed and is now run by Garden & Golf. The Club has a 6,278-meter long, 18-hole par-72 Championship course, an extensive practice range, and different training areas.The designer successfully created an important balance between the holes, as regards both the length and the orientation and location of the various elements that make up the course (bunkers, streams, lakes, etc...), offering an enjoyable game of golf on a challenging course where each and every one of the holes will put us to the test. The course has 66 bunkers strategically placed around each hole, which means that the golfer will have to keep his wits about him at all times. The course has excellent greens and fairways. Facilities: Alborán Golf has an extensive practice area measuring 150 meters wide and 300 meters long with two tees, two putting-greens, a chipping-green with a practice bunker, dressing rooms, a car park, a bar, a rental service for clubs, golf carts, and electric cars, as well as a golf shop.
Alborán Golf Club includes a Golf School that is equipped to teach all levels, from basic introduction to golf to course aimed at perfecting the game.Golf is now accessible to anybody who wishes to take up this sport or improve their game, through both one-one or group classes. A children’s golf school is run throughout the year.
