Additional charge to be paid at destination:
1. Baby Seats and Booster Seats
The price will be 3.50 Euros per day with a maximum charge of 42 Euros per rental contract.
2. Additional Drivers
The price will be 2.50 Euros per driver per day but with a maximum charge of 25 Euros per rental contract. The maximum of 3 additional drivers per rental contract will continue to be applied.
3. One-Way Rentals
We will charge 25.00 Euros for all one-way rentals of less than 7 days. Rentals of 7 days or longer will still be free of charge.
4. Cross Border Policy
Additional insurance costs must be applied if you wish to the vehicle across a border i.e Gibraltar, Portugal or France
Clients will be allowed to take their cars from Majorca to other Balearic Islands but they will be charged an additional insurance of 8.00 Euros per day with a maximum charge of 50 Euros per rental.
Please note that all the above additional insurance charges apply to the entire rental periods, not just to the days when cars are taken to other countries or islands.
5. New drivers
Drivers must be over 21 years old and have held a driving licence for a minimum of 12 months. Drivers under 25 will be subject to a surcharge of 3 euros per day (maximum 42 euros per rental). Customers who have held a driving licence for less than 4 years will be subject to a surchage of 3 euros a day (maximum 42 euros per rental). These charges are not cumulative.
6. Additional Insurance
Car hire includes unlimited mileage, personal insurance, C.D.W (not including tires, wheels, clutch, undercarriage, windows, lost keys and interior of car).
Excess insurance (payable on arrival) to cover windows, tyres and wheels is 20 euros (for rentals of 1-6 days), 24 euros (for rentals of 7-8 days) or 3 euros per day (for rentals of 9 days or more, with a maximum charge of 36 euros).
Relax Insurance (payable on arrival) to cover tyres, wheels, clutch, undercarriage, windows and lost keys is 30 euros (for rentals of 1-6 days) or 5 euros per day (for rentals of 7-28 days, with a maximum charge of 60 euros)
A minimum charge of 40 Euros will be applied if the returned car requires extra special cleaning.
Does not include petrol surcharge for 4 days or more (car is received full of petrol, which is to be paid for by credit card, and therefore must be returned empty).
