Car hire includes unlimited mileage, insurance and 24 hour road assistance.

25 euros airport tax at Funchal airport will be paid on arrival at the car hire desk at these airports for cars picked up at the airport.

Group A and B cars do not have air-conditioning.

Normal airport hours are from 07.30h to 00.30h . Deliveries outside of normal office hourse at airports will incur a fee of 17 euros charged directly to the client at the airport.

* Optional Excess Insurance: Clients are responsible for bail in the amount of 600 euros for Groups A, B, and C, 1200 euros for Groups D, E, I and J, 1800 euros for Group F, G, H and N, and 2500 euros for remaining groups in case of self-provoked accident, damages caused by vandalism, theft of the vehicle or theft of its accessories, as long as he driver is unable to identify the guilty party.
Payment is made upon delivery of the car by cash or credit card (usually you just sign an open credit card form which is destroyed when the car is returned.
This amount is refunded if none of the above situations has taken place causing damage to the car.
This situation can be eliminated with the payment of excess insurance of 8.50 euros per day for A, B, and C, 10 euros per day for Groups D, E, I and J, 15 euros per day for Group F, G, H and N, and 20 euros for remaining groups when receiving the vehicle.

To be covered by insurance, drivers must be duly noted on the rental agreement

Additional charge to be paid at destination:

• Baby seat: 5 € per day (max 70 euros) charged directly to the client at the airport.
• Passenger Insurance. The cost for this will be 4.50 euros per day charged directly to the client at the airport.
• Additional drivers: 18 € per additional driver charged directly to the client at the airport.
• Roof racks (6 euros per day. Minimum charge 18 euros and maximum 84 euros per rental. Roof racks cannot be fitted to Groups B, C, F, G1, H, K, K1, K2, K3, L, M, N, V and X
• Young drivers: All drivers between 21 and 25 years of age must pay an additional supplement of 4 euros per day

IMPORTANT:

Prices do not include petrol.

The client receives the car full of petrol and returns the car full.
